The First Annual International Baccarat Symposium

All- I will arrive Macau ( from HongKong) sometime 2/25 and depart late 2/28 or very early 3/01 back to HongKong, as my flight leaves back to Las Vegas around noon... - Will give us 3 days! Again, this is a SYMPOSIUM ... lots of discussion, lots of “ sharing ideas” , meeting forum members from other parts of the BTC Universe, playing together, etc.( not a seminar...not a discussion of some “ new system” being developed ... nothing “ for sale” ) - And, IBS2 can’t happen if we don’t hold IBS1 first... 😎
  3. I will arrive the 25th and leave on the 1st. Staying at MGM
  4. Sorry, forgot the previous post. Cannot edit it... take this one good guys, I'm ready to book for IBS in Macau this february. As I have in mind to stay few more days, I would be happy to know to fit my timetable with some yours. Could I know, from people that have already booked, what days they will spend there? I'm planning to arrive on 24th and stay till 28, flexible dates... A
  5. guys, I'm ready to book for IBS in Macau this february. As I have in mind to stay few more days, I would be happy to know to fit my timetable with some yours. Could I know, from people that have already booked, what days they will spend there? One more question to Kevin: you wrote you arrive in Macau on 25th, isn't the IBS on 23-24? A
  6. IMo, MGM and Sands offer the best for rapid baccarat, as well as for standard tables, maybe Sands is bigger. anyway MGM is located near Wynn and many others wide offer of tables Ill book next week, when will come back at home, currently lost in central thailand in my wife country house! lol A

Finally booked hotels, and itinerary now looks as follows Hong Kong arrive United 2/22 evening...JW Marriott 3 nights - several days sightseeing, and bringing wife Kayla ( means some serious purse shopping...) Macau arrive 2/25, time TBD, and MGM Macau 4 nights ( W84it staying there as well) Departing noon 3/01 from Hong Kong back to Las Vegas...( hope that ferry runs early!) Thinking Fiona , whom I met through old BTC contact Limon ( forum name...) while playing in Vancouver a few years back, will come over from HK and meet up with us in Macau as well... Looking forward to meet-ups, discussions about how we each approach the game, and playing with all of you! Kevin
  8. Guys, I'm booked in for this meet up in Macau, I'm easy to spot, I'm the quiet one in the corner with all the beer. I might sound like OzCouser (although he is far more refined with his language and accent than I ) but I lack the winning history..and the shingles at this stage. Looking forward to doing this. Thanks for the tips Wolfat!

Hey, Wolfie.... no worries...my flights booked...bringing wifey, who has never been HK or Macau.. I’ll book hotel soon. - figuring just like Vegas...can easily transition among hotels/ properties thanks for your advice/ counsel..keep it up ( once we get finished with IBS 1, IBS 2 will be pretty much ‘ sold out’ ) Thinking to limit the attendance, so we can all benefit even more(?) Ps...no limits on max attendance, just sign up early, and you will benefit....BTW, IBS 2 will not be a year-away from IBS 1 .... thinking we will be fall 2019 for IBS 2 😎

Understood, hoping to “ hook up” with Greg, his sister, Keith, ?? In HK for a little “ cultural education” B4 we venture to Macau...
  21. No problem, but remember that only applies if you land at Hong Kong Airport and go directly to Macau from there rather than entering Hong Kong itself

The First Annual International Baccarat Symposium

Hey Pando... Thanks for the info...especially about NOT having to go through immigration, and currency...
  23. The Hong Kong / Macau bridge is finished but not yet open for traffic. Actually its part bridge, part tunnel to allow large ships into Hong Kong. By February it is planned to be open, but its unclear whether the fast cat ferries will still be running. I suspect they will.

The First Annual International Baccarat Symposium

W84it Hong Kong alone worth the price of this trip. Hotels/ Casinos in Macau will be very much what you are used to, so no worries there... -Macau will be the icing on the cake...meeting other members, playing together, the food, etc.. The ferry is like “ rapid transit”, but on water. Short, but beautiful on open water...WE CAN TRAVEL TOGETHER IF YOU’D LIKE Make sure you work NOW to get all your PASSPORTS, and any required VISA’s in order... - I have not yet made my hotel REZ, ( airline plans I posted) but will soon...both places...I will keep everyone informed...like LV, neither HK or Kowloon is so big all have to stay same location... kevin
  25. My sister will be coming with me. Our plans are similar to Kevin’s. Leave Portland Oregon on Thursday the 21st. Hopefully tour Honk Kong Friday and Saturday. Go to Macau Sunday. I assume we will all meet on Monday the 25th somewhere, sometime. Not t sure who is in charge of that. We too will be leaving on Friday March the first. Looking forward to meeting our international members in person!!
  26. How to get from Hong Kong Airport to Macau on the fast cat ferry without clearing Immigration in Hong Kong. Its real easy - Pando
