The First Annual International Baccarat Symposium

Understood, hoping to “ hook up” with Greg, his sister, Keith, ?? In HK for a little “ cultural education” B4 we venture to Macau...
  5. No problem, but remember that only applies if you land at Hong Kong Airport and go directly to Macau from there rather than entering Hong Kong itself

The First Annual International Baccarat Symposium

Hey Pando... Thanks for the info...especially about NOT having to go through immigration, and currency...
  7. The Hong Kong / Macau bridge is finished but not yet open for traffic. Actually its part bridge, part tunnel to allow large ships into Hong Kong. By February it is planned to be open, but its unclear whether the fast cat ferries will still be running. I suspect they will.

W84it Hong Kong alone worth the price of this trip. Hotels/ Casinos in Macau will be very much what you are used to, so no worries there... -Macau will be the icing on the cake...meeting other members, playing together, the food, etc.. The ferry is like “ rapid transit”, but on water. Short, but beautiful on open water...WE CAN TRAVEL TOGETHER IF YOU’D LIKE Make sure you work NOW to get all your PASSPORTS, and any required VISA’s in order... - I have not yet made my hotel REZ, ( airline plans I posted) but will soon...both places...I will keep everyone informed...like LV, neither HK or Kowloon is so big all have to stay same location... kevin
  9. My sister will be coming with me. Our plans are similar to Kevin’s. Leave Portland Oregon on Thursday the 21st. Hopefully tour Honk Kong Friday and Saturday. Go to Macau Sunday. I assume we will all meet on Monday the 25th somewhere, sometime. Not t sure who is in charge of that. We too will be leaving on Friday March the first. Looking forward to meeting our international members in person!!
  10. How to get from Hong Kong Airport to Macau on the fast cat ferry without clearing Immigration in Hong Kong. Its real easy - Pando

The First Annual International Baccarat Symposium

W84it asked me yesterday, so I will repost for all to see. Here is my schedule, predicated on the fact that there is a big time zone difference USA/ China, and the flight is long... LV Las Vegas 2/21 AR Hong Kong evening 2/22 AR Macau 2/24 ( by ferry) LV Macau ( back to HK) evening 2/28 LV HK am 3/01 to return to Las Vegas. Allows plenty of sightseeing time in Both HK and Macau for my fiancée ( who has never traveled so far!), as well as plenty of time to meet/discuss/play/enjoy other BTC members! This should be really a great time for all, and plenty of learning all around...

Will be in Macau 2/24-2/28, 2019 1) Planning arrive Macau afternoon 2/24 Depart am 2/28 back to HK 2) After flights booked, will book hotel, choosing from your recommendations...and will advise. 3) Will defer to your choice for time and place of Bacarrat Play. Will decide nature and extent of all other activities accordingly. And YES, there will be plenty of time for playing, learning from one another, and lots of other good stuff! 4) Just like we did last Vegas BTC event, now still lots of time for travel planning, inclusion of others interested in playing alongside some of the best Baccarat minds on earth. (Oh...even The Fast Cat will surprise and delight ...I know... 😎) Thanks and Regards, Kevin
  15. Here is a link to Casa Real in Macau so you may know what to expect http://www.macauhotel.org/casa_real_hotel I have stayed there more than once, and as Wolfat says, good central location, nice clean rooms. I have never had any issues with any hotel I have stayed at in Macau there is too much competition to provide bad service
  16. Hers a pic of one of the Fast Cat ferries that run from Hong Kong to Macau and vice versa - they are serious beasts and meals and drink are served on board. Very comfortable.
  17. The fare for the ferry from HK to Macau is ar. 30$, it starts ar. avery 20-30 mins and it takes 1 hr to get destination I want to inform you that in Macau the hotels have internationals standards, rooms are big, clean and well furnished. to book hotels I suggest you those names -Casa Real htl -Royal htl -Emperor htl a bit more expensive but substantially at the same level -Grand Lapa Macau -Holiday Inn Macau -Beverly Plaza all are in downtown area, where everything is at walking distance, anyway for further infos I suggest you visit the site booking.com where you can find prices, pics and more places

( Naturally, I have a big list of many others...Might just surprise you all...) - Really, really, really no more expensive than Vegas (W2F comps excluded ) This is going to set-the -table for many more to come.) And W2F? Heck, he knows he can pick-on-me, all day long, every day... ouch. ( kind of?)

All- (A) Roundtrip Flight to HK from LV only about $800 ... Not sure your city(?) - ( Ferry/ Fast Jet boat ride to Macau something you will always remember, and inexpensive.) (C) Hotel price HK/ Macau sim to LV (US $$) (D) Never been to Hong Kong/ Kowloon/ Macau ? ( you’ll see, they all belong on all of our “ bucket lists” , and something you’ll be talking about for years to come!) - Chance to meet up with like-minded Baccarat players from different corners of the world??? PRICELESS. (Planning to see many of you there. ) This is one Baccarat get-together, with all of us rowing in the same direction, , WILL PAY FOR ITSELF. and there is absolutely NO PRICE FOR ADMISSION.... and...1ABS will pave the way for many more to come...

Ok,Ok... Have been communicating with Keith and looking like arrival into Macau 2/24/2019 and departure 2/28/19 - After CNY, and the Lantern Day Festival holiday. I plan on staying HK overnight 1-2 days , since will bring Kayla with me....she has never been there , and definitely worth seeeing Will either travel to/ from Macau by ferry or the new bridge, assuming all works. - Hotel will be fixed after flights confirmed...Am sure we can make “any hotel” work...pretty much like we do when we have meetings in Las Vegas Pando and Wolfat...Do these days work for you? Regards, Kevin
