Hi All,

My name is John Taormino. I was recently attacked on Lets talk Winning by Ellis. I have no ill will toward him. You cannot go through life hating. It is simply not productive. I have some amazing 1st base tactics that will simply blow your mind when you understand them and digest them. I would like to bury the hatchett and become part of the forum. I will give these tactics to ellis free of charge so he can evealuate them. I have NOT PLAYED any form of NBJ since 1993. Only recently I have been researching the 1st base strategy that I was successful with in the early 90's. I will freely share all my ideas. I wish to be a contributor, not a taker. I have alot to offer.

Ellis, the ball is in your court. Lets become friends again and together, I am positive we can kick the ass out of Bj, anywhere.

P.S. I truly forgot how powerful NBJ was, because I was a kid in College when it came out. I have become older but wiser over the last 18 years. Lets get together and help one another out, not attack each other. Reading various posts on the BJ Forum jogged my memory and has me excited about the game. I have revolutionary ideas. They will be shared if Ellis and Kieth approve.

In any event best luck to all.

I'll be in touch,

John Taormino

I don't attack John, but occassionally I fight back when falsely accused. If you're saying you didn't make the starements attributed to you on LTW, fine, I believe you. The author L.V. drunk, I've caught making false statements before. If that is what happened, your issues are with him, not me.

You are an excellent first base player and have elevated NBJ no rent first base to a science. Your comments and ideas are welcome here.

Meanwhile, while you were away, NBJ casino conditions have improved drastically. I attribute this to the growing popularity of Poker. Casinos are no longer able to keep their tables full and casino favorable like they did in the '90s and they no longer even try. Today NBJ conditions are at an all time high, even better than when I played full time in the '80s.

As if to prove that, we have Mad Dog making thousands in Vegas and we have Smitty making thousands in Canada. and we have Carlos who has amassed one of the world's best BJ records. All three swear by NBJ.

Also meanwhile, card counting has virtually vanished from the face of the Earth. Their top garu Standford Wong has quit teaching it altogether and has gone to work with Jerry Patterson teaching their brand of craps. I think the movie 21 was their last hurrah. We no longer get any argument from the card counting camp. NBJ has become THE accepted way to play BJ. Many casinos make it required reading in their dealer training programs. In fact, most dealers who play, play NBJ. And ALL pro BJ players today play NBJ.

I think the key to successful BJ play today is to have a well rounded game. Know when to play first base, know when to play third and know when not to play at all. Successful BJ is not about beating your head against the tough games. It's about avoiding the tough games, finding and gliding through the easy games unscathed.

Anyone who devotes the effort to learn how can beat this game but nobody can do that on their own. Right now BJ enjoys the best conditions of all time. The money is there for the taking. All you need is the right teacher and the right determination.

John? Mad Dog? Smitty? Carlos? Char?

John, first, my Email is ellis_858@hotmail.com and my phone no is

901 405 1723. Email or call me anytime. Yes, it's good to have you back home where you belong. Yes, Jerry is an ultra fine gentleman and as honest as the day is long. But, he is a Marketeer, not a player. YOU are a PLAYER, not a Marketeer. Hey, I understand that people need to find themselves. They need to experiment to find what they do best. I remember when you were tearing up Atlantic City with your no rent first base. I had you picked out as a Player way back then. There are those who play and those who sell because they can't play. To each his own.

Yes, we are all very interested in what you have to say. Players want to hear from fellow players. Players have no time for Marketeers no matter how gentlemanly they may be. Welcome home, at last!

Hi All,

John Taormino here. I spoke to Ellis and he asked me if I would post a few of the tactics that are INDESPENSIBLE If you want to be a Professional 1st Base PLAYER.

1ST, YOU MUST qualify the table. Look at the player who is at second base or the next spot over to 3rd base and use his cards as the qualifying cards. Obviously, if 1st base is already occupied, leave.

You must know these 2 most imporatant factors before you can succeed with 1st base play. The NORMAL DISTRIBUTION RATE FOR FIRST CARD TENS AND ACES IS 40%. So, if you are not beating this figure by at least 10%, you are achieving nothinbg statistically at all. Remember this most important statistic. You would like 55% and up MINIMUM in drawing a first card ten or ace.

Second, and this is the most IMPORTANT factor in first base play, you MUST LOOK AT WHAT THE DEALER DREW IN THE ROUNDS WHEN YOU PREDICTED THAT YOU WOULD GET THE 1ST CARD TEN OR ACE. If the dealer ALSO RECEIVES A 1ST CARD TEN OR ACE, MATCHING YOUR 1ST CARD TEN OR ACE, THIS IS DISASTEROUS AND COUNTS AS STRIKE ONE. The most important factors regarding 1st base is your frequency in getting that 1st card ten or ace in relation to the statistical norm of 40%. Additionally, if you are betting an increased bet because you are expecting a 1st card ten or ace, and you get one BUT so doeas the dealer, this is a huge DISADVANTAGE!!!!. Be cognizant on what the dealer gets as his upcard in the rounds that you predict that you will receive a 1st card ten or ace. LET THIS SINK IN, IT IS OF VITAL IMPORTANCE!!!!

I will be posting other aspects of PROFESSIONAL FIRST BASE PLAY IN THE UPCOMING WEEK. STAY TUNED!!!! Remember, this is the only forum on the web in which you can get advice and Professional Tactics from players who are really out there in thetrenches, winning consistently. Thank you Ellis and Keith for your professional approach in everything you do. Yes, everyone sometimes make mistakes, but that is part of the learning process. Analyze your mistakes and the solution will come painlessly.

I'll be in touch,

John Taormino

Guest CarlosM

I'm glad I emailed you months ago and asked if you could drop by here and have you and Ellis talking again. I did the same with Ellis and Keith and got them together again after no association for over 10 years, and I'm glad I did. Keith and Ellis are also very glad I did that! The great John Taormino who I have read so much about in the NBJ newsletters. Asome! Welcome old buddy!

And welcome back Carlos! HMMM wasn't that a movie or something?

Great stuff John! Sorry I wasn't around to say something sooner. I guess Ann told you about having to drive 1500 miles with the world's worst case of poison ivy. You were right about the meds for a diabetic. Knocked me clean out for the rest of the day. Much better today. I'll get off of here. You two guys have lots to talk about. We need to get Smitty and Mad Dog and Char going again. Carlos, those guys are giving you a good run for your money!

Hi Carlos!!

Thank you so much for getting Ellis and myself back together again. I have talked with Ellis numerous times over the last 2 weeks. I forgot what a genius he was and Ellis got my creative juices going again. He is the Master of Blackjack, my mentor and a great friend. Thank you Carlos for your suggestion, I am home, where I should have been all the time.

In the very near future, I will be posting another bombshell about PROFESSIONAL 1ST BASE PLAY. THIS ONE ANGLE WILL SIMPLY BLOW THE SOCKS OFF EVERYONE WHO READS IT. IT WILL BE POSTED IN THE MEMBERS ONLY PRIVATE SECTION OF THE FORUM. STAY TUNED!!! PLEASE ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS REGARDING NBJ. "YOU WON'T FAIL, WE WON'T LET YOU."

I WILL LEAVE YOU WITH THIS QUOTE, "BE ASHAMED TO DIE UNTIL YOU HAVE WON SOME VICTORY, FOR HUMANITY"...HORACE MANN, EDUCATOR.

I'll be in touch,

John Taormino
