blackjack winning percentage

hi all

i have always been a reasonable player

but never knew what my winning percentage was or my winnings in dollar value

so this year i started to keep statistics

i have been 17 times so far

i only take a 200 dollar bankroll

and i play using basic strategy but maybe a little conservatve

i only play at our local casino

they use 4 deck continuous shufflers and the cards go back in after every hand and get shuffled so no way to count cards

out of the 17 times i have been i have only lost twice and came out even once

which works out to be about a 87% winning ratio

they only offer doubling on 9 10 & 11

i have also noticed that i seem to come out in front more often than other players at table

i play 10 ore 15 dollar tables and up my bets when table is running hot

so do you think that this is a good winning ratio

not sure about hand winning ratio but think it is above 69%

nick

That looks promising... You might be so many winnings now for you are confident to almost win every game.

85% is achievable through good table selection and knowing when to deviate from Basic Strategy which has a hands won rate of only 43%. The first trick is to get your hands won rate up over 50%. 55-56% is achievable for top players. Your overall win rate is not nearly as important as keeping your avg. units lost in losing shoes far less than your avg units won in winning shoes.

Every table has a certain % of type A, B and C hands. Type A is hands you automatically win. Type B is hands you win if you play them right. Type C is hands you lose no matter how you play them. The trick is to avoid tables with a high % of type C hands. NOBODY can beat those tables. BJ is first a table selection game. But from there, you have to know how to play and how to optimize your wins. You can't beat every table.
