If you mean the tote board was displaying more than one shoe, that is their intermittent somewhat interesting countermeasure I presume.

I mean such a huge expenditure on technology and they forgot the auto delete button for erasing the tote board after a shoe is completed !

At least the connection was better on day shift today. If this trend continues I think I will switch to days. Have to reset my body clock though.

Hi Tom! No, the tote board missed a play completely. There were four Players in a row but they only recorded 3. I know my card was right because my score checked out with their's. This used to happen a lot in casinos but most have it automated now. Maybe BP still depends on the dealer or maybe their automation screwed up. We won the shoe at +9 anyway. We have a member who calls me and we play together by phone now and then. I find BP is very susceptible to NOR but I also find the -8 stop loss is important when playing them. Lin only calls me when he has the prior shoe recorded.

Hmmm, I'll keep my eyes open for board errors. There have been good NOR shoes lately. Some real sweet super chop lately. Keep an eye out for TB4L/X even with the occasional 2 with over and under chop doesn't much matter.

Depending on my mood I will usually sidestep the tough shoes if there is something else to do for an hour and check back just before the shoe ends to record the end of the shoe and go from there. Often times I find myself puzzling over the multiple ways to beat some shoes. Sometimes I pick the way that I think will win the most units and other times get lazy and F-bet some stuff just because it will work or am just getting tired and take the route of least resistance. It's a good problem to have.

Tom, or anyone, do they change cards at a preset time? I'm thinking they could be played like a regular casino going by what that color shoe did last time. We would have everything but table selection.

But I'm wondering if we could also have table selection of a sort??? Suppose we had a thread where we posted each of their shoes - somehow. Then we would always know when a shoe color got hot (highly biased). That way we could play shoes selectively. We COULD even play as a group, maybe.

You know me; I'm always looking for an angle. Do you think an approach like that is feasible?

Talk about a steady income. Even students who yet do not know how to play could take advantage of group combined experience. Am I dreaming? It's 6:30A here and I seem to remember waking up and making coffee.

Has anyone ever noticed if they get a certain shoe type with new cards???

I knew we had a lot in common. Play the F-bet stuff because it'll work and I'm in a lazy mood.

Thanks.

Can't say that I've noticed a major change with a new shoe/cards but the last two times I watched the shuffle, the girl only did half the shoe and then they switched out and in another half deck!

Once both halfs (halves?) were apparently done, they then combined them with one half of the deck coming from off screen! Apparently that was the first half of the shoe that she shuffled up.

Very odd and last week was the first time I had seen that particular shuffle plan.

I have seen them change cards but never out of a box. Let me explain -

When cards are changed someone off camera lifts up what appears to be 8 decks in a discard rack and pushes it on the table toward the dealer. The dealer then takes the existing cards and places them in the discard rack and pushes them toward this off camera person. The new cards are then shuffled in the normal manner or routine PBX shuffles. I have never seen cards taken out of a box, inspected front and back, washed and then shuffled.

ALSO - there was a time that PBX used to wash cards (existing cards) before their shuffle. Not every time just once in a while. Never really saw a pattern to when they washed and when they did not.

None of this infers that I feel that they are doing something incorrect, improper or cheating of any kind.

I do not recall ever seeing any color other than blue!

My observation - curious if anyone else disagrees

Right Max! That's what I thought too, This means that we should be looking at the shoe to shoe similarity, or lack thereof. We also need to know their card change schedule. It might not help much but the more we know.....

Btw, I think Keith played his 19th straight S40 shoe last night at that same casino, same table. I think he's won 19 straight shoes now playing only S40. He wants me to come up again. Yep, I think I probably will.

Has BetPhoenix learned how to make neutral shoes now? Seems like that's all I see when I go there to check them out.

Yep, sooner or later casinos figure out that is their big money maker. But it is ours too.

All,

Just checked in at BPH a little while ago and I see that they're back to having three wagering levels again. (Took a quick +4 out running Sys40 for a quickie).

They are all the same table, but three different base bets are now available again.

Evidently there's a big demand for $500 minimum wagers in the online world!!

MVS (Uh, I'm not one of them)

Anybody been having trouble logging into the live baccarat game at BPH for the last few days?

I can get to the site and do everything else EXCEPT get to the live table!

This is not good, of course.

Anyone else having this problem that plays there?

I'll go back and try the "usual" remedies on my side but for some reason the address is not resolving on my side.

OK, last night I logged into BPH from a different network and got it just fine.

Came back home and my own network logged into the live games just like normal.

Who knows? They did say they had ANOTHER DNS update/change/whatever and maybe my own local net just never got caught up in time.

Anyway, all is working just fine now..

All,

I just logged into BPH tonight for the first time in a bit and I see they've really cleaned up their video, both on Bac and BJ.

It now looks more like a studio arrangement but the CNN and sports channels are now missing from the setup.

I didn't get any email notification that they were planning on "upgrading" their facilities, but it does look a lot better but I still think they need something of a "baseline" in the background to confirm it's still a realtime, live dealt game.

The bac game also appears to be quicker in the time between hands, too.

Still got 'em for +6 tonight so the change didn't hurt THAT much I guess. (Thank you, Sys40/NOR!)

Anyway, anybody see anything wrong with the change? The video obviously got better, that's for sure but I think they moved the camera a bit higher as the girls have to make a real effort to look in the camera now.

All,

One of my older online sportsbook/casinos just came back to life all sparkling new and with a LIVE dealt baccarat game.

Sportsbetting dot ag (formerly Racebook dot com) is back up online and takes US players!

I originally started playing on the old Racebook when it processed the horses and Jai-Alai wagers out of Miami's frontons. That worked out well for my Jai-Alai wagering and then I used them for a sports book for a long time. The problem was they never had any live table games (all were RNG at the time) so I had to eventually track down BetPhoenix, which has worked out very well over the years.

With that said, I finally discovered that the old Racebook is newly renamed Sportsbetting with a whole new operation and it even had me log in under my old username/pw and my account was still there, including the residual funds from over the years! I thought I had written that one off a year ago.

Anyway, their live baccarat game appears to be the typical live studio, which is used by a lot of the online casinos. You can talk/chat with the dealers and they do a full wash of the cards on the screen instead of just dumping a new shoe on the table. Very nice.

My withdrawls from them were fine when they were Racebook but I haven't pulled anything out of them since the change as I'm still just "testing" the live game to make sure it feels right to me. Hopefully I'll have more information next month.

But for the time being, it looks like I've got another online casino that I can use if my primary one goes down. The video feeds appear to be a little nicer and sharper so I may put more time into this one to make sure it's OK to run with.

I am not an affiliate nor do I have anything to do with BetPhoenix/ag or Sportsbetting/ag other than I play live, online baccarat at both venues now.

Great info MVS!

I'd still like to know about on line BJ. For instance, if a casino used a RG to deal BJ hands, such a game would be incredibly easy to beat. I don't know if online casinos are that knowledgeable. Could be a gold mine for those who know how to play such an arrangement IF in fact, it exists.
