Why doesn't card counting work?

Thank God counting does not work today. Too much work!! Here are some of the things casinos do to counter counting. If I missed anything, I can count on Ellis or Keith adding in here. Ok, they use multi decks of cards. Counting was originally designed for single deck over 50 years ago. Then they introduced the cut off card so that they count you have been keeping in your head is useless because you never get to see the remainder of the cards in that shoe. With more decks at play and more players in the game, the more non random the cards become. Card counting needs the cards to be random or very close to random to be valid.

Well Carlos, you are right and there is one more huge reason.

We KNOW for a fact that random cards produce the easiest game to beat. Anyone who has done it knows that it is close to impossible to lose playing Basic Strategy from third base with a 3 bet progression against random cards. Of course it helps to know a few NBJ plays. So, no question, random cards present the BEST opportunity in BJ.

So in the best BJ games there are the counter just sits there not betting. Why? Because the count simply doesn't go anywhere in random cards. The counter never hits his bet trigger. So he abandons the best game there is and goes to another table where his count DOES hit his bet trigger.

So the counter abandons the best games where simple BS wins in favor of clumped games - the only games that hit his bet trigger - the same games where clumping destroys your BS hit rate.

So in short the counter abandons the best games in the casino in favor of the worst games. Then he wonders why he can't win. THAT is the world of card counting. Then they wonder why all the counting gurus (who never play themselves BTW) put together have not produced a single winning player in the last 25 years. And that is why, when they watch NBJ players win, they say we cheat. What else can they say??? They know that WE are the best players but they certainly can't admit that fact. They can't admit that they have been teaching a losing method for 25 years. Everyone would want their money back. We put the card counting gurus in a horrible state of affairs.

But the CC players are now finally realizing they can't win after 25 years of losing. They are abandoning the counting gurus. In fact, abandoning BJ altogether - leaving the game to us. That is why we now see so few tables and so many empty seats - perfect NBJ conditions.

But the CC gurus STILL won't admit they were wrong all these years. So they are a dying breed. Their players are leaving them in droves. And they are preaching to empty seats. And we were right here all along. Our problem is we simply can't get the word out. Unfortunately.

Look guys! The card counting forums are dying on the vine because their students can't win and are leaving in droves. This is a golden opportunity for us.

I can't post on the card counting forums becase I am banned. But there is nothing stopping you. You need to be posting on these forums and telling these lemmings that there is a better alternative. Be polite but TELL them. Maybe we can pick up some of them. Please, post on these forums and tell them about NBJ. We have been outplaying these guys for years but somehow we are the best kept secret in BJ. Get the word out! We pay commissions you know.

Conditions today are too good to be true. But it is true. Especially here in Canada. We are like Atlantic City, where table selection was tuff. Same games too. Some one2six shuffler. Some tables use Shufflemasters MD2 and some tables deal 8 deck hand shuffled. The high limit rooms deal 6 deck hand shuffled. In our casinos up here, new cards are introduced several times a day and night. Many tables offer 1, 2 and 3 player games and head to head. There is no better time than now. I wonder what the conditions are like in Vegas and AC? Ellis, what are the conditions like your way? Btw, I almost always play in the high limit rooms. $100 min to $2,500 max. Back in 2007 and prior, it used to be $5,000 max. Even the $25 tables now are $500 max. They used to be $1,000 max. The $5 tables in 2007 and prior used to be $500 max, what the $25 tables are now. Now they are $300 max. Paranoid bastards. They know the less crowded the casino, the more advantage we have. Back in 2007, they were so crowded that having higher limits did not worry them because they know the more crowded they are, the less advantage people have. This should make you think. Ellis is the best player ever was, ever will be. He taught me so much. I think I may be the second worlds best player!!! I can prove it ;)

Ellis? Keith? How are you guys finding conditions are up your way? Ellis, i plan on (100%) heading up your way to play in your casinos sometime January 2014. Or are the conditions better there in Spring?
