Wow! And I was disappointed after spending $350 for the 4D seminar that fizzled out at the end. I guess I should feel lucky, huh? LOL

If I ever spend 5 grand on a gambling system may I rot in Hell. LMAO. No I didn't pay 5 grand for 4D, I was just trying to cheer up CdnChamer.

Update to keep thread on track. Played 2 shoes Tuesday morning in SFL and got greedy, lost 25 units first shoe after being ahead by 5 units and then second shoe I went to -5 and left. Came back that night and won 28 units in 5 shoes. Apparently I needed a brief reminder about quitting at +5 or -5. Played wednesday morning to +31 in 6 shoes. Bought ticket to Vegas, arrived in vegas at 9:30, went to bed at 2:30AM, 5 shoes and another +29 later. Played 1 shoe from hands 55 to 68 this morning to +7, decided it is time to give everyone an update.

The +5 system works. I've been depositing winnings in bank on a daily basis to cover last week's mistakes. I'm going to wait for another +50 before increasing unit size. Being in Vegas, I now have the benefit of table selection.

P.S. I'd also like to add that I did learn some things in the 4D forum. Maybe not a exactly how to play 4D and win 99% of shoes with it, but certainly more than enough to cover the cost of admission. Come on guys, anyone reading this forum should have been able to go for $250, and if you didn't learn $250 worth of information, than its time to reconsider your game.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.  Figure out a way to win at baccarat that fits your lifestyle, you don't have to eat fish anymore!

Right, I think it's time to start a new thread. "+5 unit million dollar program."

Two threads: One we keep clean for the program and its rules that we won't post on and a second thread for questions.

Hi Ellis,

Since you are snowed in, maybe it would be a good time to start those 2 new threads. I know everyone is very eager to get some rules and some sample shoes. I'd be glad to help post shoes if you need any help with that.

Thanks for all you do!

Jim

Cheer me up? Naaaa. What I was seeking her on the forum is continuity, of forward thinking and directional goal setting instead band wagon jumping to another to the next flavour of the month!

Since last fall;

4D

S40M1

3D100

The Oz Fiasco

Chubby checker / twist

$30000 in 30 days, back to the past with S40

Million Dollar System....

WHATS NEXT? Guess well have to wait until April fools to find out.

At least the NOR approach has been most consistant development this board has seen

We are great players and we need to be realistic....

Yes CC, way too many distractions in the last few months. This is why I posted "back to basics". NOR has everything we need to win, consistently. No, you can't read the manual and play it mechanically. You need to understand what you are seeing at the table and use the best tool for the situation. NOR + some intelligence + some keen awareness + money management = consistent wins.

I agree wholeheartedly!

Can we please decide on which strategy has the most potential for consistent wins and concentrate on perfecting it?

I really thought, with all its hype and promise, that 4D was the be-all-end-all and focused the last 2 months soley on learning to master the counts and net betting only to find we're switching gears yet again?

I actually stumbled on a way to simplify the 4D a bit after playing countless shoes that helps increase your casino speed by 20% or so, but am not sure I should even post it if we're moving on to something else already.

Thoughts?

Regards,

Glenn

Post it, Quiz. Some of us are still exploring the benefits of 4d, even if that means we will do so alone

Right, I looked at Glenn's work and found it to be a promising simplified way to play 4D, just BTW, as the OZ method was. Perhaps even better than the Oz way - which remember did very well in computer testing.

Oz simply got overwhelmed and then discouraged when he attempted teaching it.

Teaching can be an extremely discouraging undertaking. You do all this design work ALONE at your work station. And you finally come up with something really good. That is ONE thing.

But then when you attempt to teach it your life is totally disrupted. All of a sudden you are NOT ALONE. You've got a hundred guys asking you a thousand questions - some of which will be the dumbest questions conceivable. "What's an Opposite?" You THINK you wrote simple rules that ANYONE could understand. WRONG! You get inundated with questions. A very strong tendency to throw up your hands in defeat. I do that at least twice a day. The difference is, I'm used to it.

So Glenn, consider yourself forewarned! Don't get discouraged.

It would be great if OZ would come back and give you a hand. He was one of the best members on this forum - extremely helpful to many members - ONE ON ONE.

It would also be nice if John B. would jump in here and help. He knows the ins and outs of the 4D better than anyone. But he's shy. Teachers can't be shy. They have to put theirselves out there on the front edge of the battle line.

I don't have any qualms at all about having a group persue the 4D. It is a great way to play. But I have to devote most of my time to the majority and teach within their limitations. They have their hands full with NOR. That is why I'm attempting to go even simpler.
