Mike , couple weeks ago , was hitting vegas again , to make a run at a mil........!

I don't think we have heard from him ?

Wishing him the best in his quest ! Hopefully he will post soon on his quest and it will be all good !

Looks like Mike from Philly , playing @ Parx , is really , it seems , is the only one on the forum being a true success ! GO MIKEY !! :)

Besides Norm...in my 5/6 years on this forum, Mike/Philly , seems to be the only successful player here !!

There are lots of successful players here Johnny. I think you missed reading a few posts. However no one is playing the +5 systems yet. But they will be shortly. Then you'll see a lot more.

Those are two different Mikes you are referring to. Pompano and Philly. It was Pompano going back to Vegas.

Pompano is not yet a member of the +5 forum but is posting on the NOR forum. At least Mike is not on my list. But Keith has one name I don't have. It could be Mike.

I think Mike has an uphill battle on his hands trying to make a million W/O the million dollar forum. He ends up playing bias systems in unbiased shoes. I'd call that the hard way.

But at least he's trying. And if he makes it, all the more credit to him. It is just a lot easier with the right tools.

But maybe Mike will join. He was in Vegas when all this came about.

I'm playing the +5 systems. I stayed away from the posts for a bit because I had some other things going on, but it does work. I'm going to try to be a little more active, but since I spent more than 20 days in Vegas for April, I'm a bit behind on many fronts. It was a very successful trip. I highly recommend the tables at Aria in the mornings.

Another observation from here that has helped me. I do most of my gaming in Vegas, because the 5 hour flight and staying in a Hotel room puts me in a different mindset than being at home. Few of us (me included) are accustomed to a $2500+ per day income, and worse than that, a $2500 per hour loss (-5 at $500) For me it is like living a double life, but I must say, I kinda prefer the life I live at $2500-$5000 in winnings.

Sorry I've disappeared. My Vegas trips were as much about leading a double life as they were about Baccarat. I spent 80 nights in Vegas last year, but I haven't played in Vegas since October, and my last trip there was to pack up all of my belongings in November during which I didn't even play. I've been playing high limit in South Florida since October. I haven't had a losing day in the last 6 weeks, knock on wood. I'm not playing any particular system per se, but I commonly bet that 1s will go to 2s and I went back to only tracking P/B and O/R. I don't bet every hand. I aim to play a couple of times a week, and only for a few partial shoes. Generally in and out within 1 to 3 hours. I'm playing mostly $500 units and I generally limit myself to a 20 to 40 unit bankroll, cashing out as necessary to make sure a bad day can't set me back too much. I have not completed MDB, as I am not comfortable going beyond $1000 units yet. It has become all business for me. I don't go with friends and I don't talk about it much. I log everything into QuickBooks on a daily basis as I have reached a point of so much profit this year, I'm already preparing for the taxes I can't avoid paying. I'm not planning on going back to Vegas until May this year, and even then it will primarily be for fun based on the comps I have accrued from last year's play. I'll be more active again once I get to a point where I'm comfortable what I'm doing is documentable and teachable. Right now the best advise I can give is play only when you're at 100% of your faculties, don't allow emotions to exist while playing, get in and out quickly once you are up, but remember at all costs stop loss is way more important than stop win.

Hey trbfla, what casino are you referring to? Is it the HardRock in Hollywood? Tampa? What can you tell me about the HL room and bac games there? Maybe need to take a road trip.

Hey way....I can tell you enough to get in trouble lol......I play at the hard rock ft. Lauderdale.....where the weather is a crisp 76 with sunny skies....for the last 3 months....lol.....the rock just remodeled the high limit room and I would put it up against any vegas high limit room....there are tons of smoke free lol tables and 5 private rooms that lead to 2 more private rooms......it is elegant and well kept......needless to say paid for by all the local winners lol....now that wS funny....

Mike, glad to hear things are going well. Hopefully I can make a trip to Florida soon -- be good to play together again. Have a good friend always trying to get me to visit and play at Seminole. Maybe spend a couple days golfing then head down to Hard Rock for a few days.

Ok way you'll love this being a fellow golfer. I was at the rock last night high limit room and this pga golfer sits down next to me-he's playing in the Doral this weekend. So he's joking with dealer and pitboss and I say to him rough outing today huh he says yeah so I think I'm funny so I say perhaps you should be on the driving range and he looks at me and says no offense but I saw your last 2 bets perhaps you should be on the baccarat range. I said good one and bought him a beer

I'm playing at the same place trbfla is playing. Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL. We finally played together yesterday. I left for the day +20 over 6 shoes, after a very rocky start. Went back today for another +13 in two shoes. Hoping for another good day tomorrow.
