The BTC Community Never Ceases to Amaze Me!!!

Recommended Posts

So today I met up with Kevin aka @kachatz1, Greg aka @W84it and Rick aka @LVRB089at Palace Station.

Greg invited me to join them. As I walked into the casino I recognized Kevin from the multitude of videos. I had never met Greg and Rick in person.

They were sitting at one of the Bac Tables playing and already half way thru a shoe. I introduced myself and was instantly welcomed by the group.

I told them I wanted to meet up with them and watch how they play. Kevin was like sure pull up a chair. As I watched I would ask from time to time the reasoning

behind the selections and Kevin would walk me thru his thinking process. On a couple of other hands Greg would do the same.

After the shoe we all got up and went to the restaurant for some drinks. Overall the guys were welcoming, cordial, and very inviting. It was as if I had known them

forever. I had to leave to take care of a prior engagement. When I got back I was fortunate enough to catch Kevin and Rick as they were leaving.

Kevin told me to give him a call whenever I wanted to meet up again. Which I will do in the very near future.

But Greg and I played two more shoes together. It was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Guys (Kevin, Greg and Rick) I want to say thank you.

This got me to thinking...this is what BTC is all about... people helping people... members helping members... but most important friends helping friends.

This is the true spirit of this forum!!!

Thanks........

Hey, DB/ DA-

Always welcome the chance to play with others!

And of course have some food, some conversation, and a libation or 2

(  no matter even it’s just water or iced tea...a libation is a libation...just mine might could contain vodka or scotch in it...)

Anybody gets together for BAC knows me, they know I seek not only to play BAC with them, I will search for a way for us to  become “ friends” ...and hopefully I can get to know them well enough that I can help them with something else...

( Christmas lights are “ off limits”...but anything involving duck tape or a hammer , I’m pretty much ‘ all in’ )

Oh, and BTW, U can be d*** certain, I will be looking for a few BAC pointers from you...😎

You are spot on Dannyboy…...GREAT POST.  Getting together, conversation, getting and giving help, having dinner, lunch, breakfast together, feeling like you are a part of being welcomed with warm hearted good people that share in your interests and they share in yours.  It doesn't get any better than that, and Kevin sets a great example for us all.  Kudos to Greg and Rick also.  Love hearing these stories of what it can really be about and enjoyed by all.
