I have seen them change cards but never out of a box. Let me explain -

When cards are changed someone off camera lifts up what appears to be 8 decks in a discard rack and pushes it on the table toward the dealer. The dealer then takes the existing cards and places them in the discard rack and pushes them toward this off camera person. The new cards are then shuffled in the normal manner or routine PBX shuffles. I have never seen cards taken out of a box, inspected front and back, washed and then shuffled.

ALSO - there was a time that PBX used to wash cards (existing cards) before their shuffle. Not every time just once in a while. Never really saw a pattern to when they washed and when they did not.

None of this infers that I feel that they are doing something incorrect, improper or cheating of any kind.

  2. Gave this a shot with Mav, knowing that is how Andy plays to see how close i could come. Will try to post the shoe later; having some problem with my scanner.

Started a on hand 8 (one hand earlier than I should have - mistake #1)

Stuck with RDH all the way

At hand 19 hit a +14 and decided to protect +10 units.

At hand 25 hit 19 and decided to protect +15 units.

At hand 26 hit +17 with a two unit loss. Next bet (3 units) would have put me below the +15 I tried to protect and exited here with +17

After that RDH continued to loose and got doen to +5 but came back strong from hands 30 through 34.

Continued with RDH and ended up with +24 units at hand 50.

    Andy - any comments appreciated!!!!

It's been a good week so far. Another good shoe played this afternoon.

Heck, anytime I've got free time to post up these shoes is good!

  3. I agree with Res; but let me ask the question in a different way - Ellis are you done with Sys 40 and therefore are moving on to RD?

    Ellis

This is getting confusing now. I thought you were coming up with the 4S Manuel and now we have RD also playing with SAP or no Sap. This is getting confusing. I think I getting to know how to play one way and now we are looking into another way. I hope everything interwine together and we can see the exact rules and also sample games. I have been playing around with Maverick and it seems a little easier to play and I thought you were going to come up with a easier way of playing. Your ideas are great but some of us are confused. I want to get one system like Maverick or your 4S but it seems to change each message. I hope you understand what I am saying plus I am a visual learner.

Maybe this will help. This is an old post that I saved.

We use 4 columns The first thing in each column is either B or P depending on what the first hand starts with. Then we just list the events (1, 2's 3's etc.) So B21234211112 would be BB P BB PPP BBBB PP B P B P BB. Each column except the last will add up to 20 hands. Here's a full example for the Corrected shoe Ellis just completed:

    P121113211115

    P11223122114

    B332111111321

i've have been planning to join the private forum for some time.

i have tried to post the shoes you show in the public forum and find i can not post to my card because i find an in balance between the Bank hands and Players hands.

if i can't understand a simple posting of Bank Player hands i feel i wont understand the private forum.

Is there an explaination of your display? Can you show the game with the score card Bank hands on top with the following Player hands on the bottom? This will be only about 20 entries each accross the page.

i interpret the numerals shown, as the number of consecutive wins for Bank or Player at that delivery point in the game. The number of Bank and Player ENTRIES should be equal, adjusting for the opening hand on Player and the last hand be it Bank or Player. Ofcourse the total win score for Bank

will be inderpendent of the Player win total. The volume of Bank entries per delivery and Player entries

should be equal (plus or minus one).

Can it be you are posting partial shoes?

I view this as an exercise ONLY. The results do not matter to me at this time and stage in my development; trying to focus on accuracy of the component I am practicing and following my educational plan.

I will review where I went wrong

    Thanks again for your help

    Max

    Play 33 should be player

    Play 38 banker

Other than that you are right on

By the way, don't worry about your score for this for now. This is only 1/2 of Maverick so you would be out of F2 when it is weak. You would be playing RD-Hybrid. Don't worry about swtiching for now. Just get F2 down plat first. I just wanted you to be aware of it so you don't get the wrong idea.

  6. First scorecard post

Purpose of this post - Understand the F2 component

Ultimate goal is to understand and successfully implement the Maverick Method. Before I can develop a business plan for this playing method, I am developing an educational plan first.

My rough outline for starting this process is as follows:

    Understand and practice -

    F2 and F3

    RD and RD Hybrid

    SAP Chart

    Wagering method U1D2 M2

The Shorthand for this shoe is

    P1221211244

    B2121211352

    P113131131221

    B121231

70 Hand shoe – ties not shown on scorecard

    Rules for F2 Taken from “F2 F3 Thing Again†Post #2 3 11 2010

Wagering for this shoe will be the 1121234 negative progression

    Notes

Hand #5 is the first bet. I waited until I knew I had a real 2 – PBBP is first 4 hands and on the forth hand I assumed that confirms the 2???

New 2 started after B occurs on hand 6

When P occurs on hand 13, I now have a new 2 to follow

NOTE – What I am trying to determine with the above notes is; do I have the correct understanding of when a 2 occurs. Or, when does two in a row become a two that is wagered on?

NOTE- ALSO, Once a two is established how many hands do you continue to follow the 2. Notice on my scorecard that at hand 29 with the P result that the previous BB becomes a 2 and another 2 does not occur until hand 58. Was it correct to continue wagering from hand 30 to 59 based on the 2 that was established at hand 29?

This is my first posted scorecard and expect many errors and misunderstandings on my part. All comments are welcome. Thanks again to MVS for his help!!!!!

  7. Nicely done MVS!!!!

Question for you and or anyone that is familiar with the Maverick method?

If some else that knew Maverick, played the same shoe as MVS, would they have ended up with the same or similiar results as MVS?

    Regards

    Max

Just finished up a nightly test/practice shoe at Black Orchid (or as we like to call it "Speed Orchid") and wound up with a very nice +19 running Maverick. Bet Phoenix is still down for maintenance so I wound up over at Black Orchid.

  8. Thanks Ellis (and MVS) for the advice.

Funny you should mention that about feeling a struggling shoe. In both of the -13 shoes I had plenty of time to exit with a much smaller loss well after 50 hands. For the moment I am just trying to pick a method to learn, play it out in a specific manner to get a feel for one of your methods.

I will keep practicing, posting and looking for feedback -

    Thanks Guys

    Thanks for the reply

Actually the results were from an internet site (Bodog) that most likely used a RNG. Still with +6 I was happy with the results. I am using U3Hi/2Hi as a starting point to learn and understand some method and then move on to other more complex methods that are listed on this site. Maverick has caught my attention but there is much I do not understand at this point to be able to follow Mark's program in detail.

Any suggestions you have on how to progress through the various methods would be helpful.

    Thanks again

    Max,

I'm assuming the internet casino was one with a live dealer? If so it really shouldn't be all that different from a live dealer B&M casino.

Table evaluation is much better for me "online" as opposed to my local casino as my local Indian casino has no tote boards and usually only one table in play and I'm the guy playing it!! At least when I go to BetPhoenix I can see what the four tables are doing and if one of the smaller limit tables looks good, I'll jump on in.

Averaging +6 a shoe is good anytime! As you have found out, having an EXIT plan can really save the day. There's no use in fighting a shoe that's giving you a beating. Take the small loss and live to play another shoe.
