  1. Sorry don't really know what you mean I lived in Vegas for four years and played every day, it did not mess me up?????
  2. I think you missed my point. I didn't ask about Obamacare Like Obama's speeches I've never heard so many words that said so little.
  3. Hi kachatz1 Sorry to interrupt you in the middle of all your post, but just one quick question, Are you the guy that writes the speeches for Obama?
  4. Go here to practice. http://www.blackorchidcasino.com/getting-started/demo-live-games
  5. Ellis, what do you mean four units straight down isn't that going on the run, do you mean four units opposite side ?? Are you saying straight down from the four in a row ?
  6. Hi Ellis I don't ever remember hearing the term (normal random frequencies) Could you please explain to me what normal random frequencies is. Thanks Norm
  7. Hi Jdean Do you think it would be possible for you to put these shoes on a scorecard and post the scorecards to show us how you played them. This would be very helpful for some members to see how they were played and learn by then. It does not matter if they were a winning or a losing shoe. Thanks
  8. This is a link to the company who invented EZ Bac with their description of the odds. http://www.deq.com/en/table-games/ez-baccarat-math.php This is a link to wizardofodds with the house for EZ Bac (even though he is using a six deck shoe it would not make that much difference in a shoe eight deck shoe)= House edge = 1.02 http://wizardofodds.com/games/baccarat/appendix/6/#ezbaccarat This is a link to wizardofodds with the house for the regular game with commission.= House edge = 1.06 http://wizardofodds.com/games/baccarat/ But rather then getting into a pissing contest about the house edge, as the difference between the two is so small it really does not make all that much difference overall. Putting the mathematics and the house edge aside, IMO and the way I see it, when I lived in Vegas for four years played EZ Bac about 80% of the time when I was able to get a seat at this game, I don't know how it is now but about two years ago the Red Rock Casino had two Bac tables, one was EZ Bac and the other was a commission table, the commission table was always empty and you had to get on the waiting list to play the EZ Bac table. The same was true when the MGM had EZBac. and the same was true at Gold Coast casino. I don't know what the time frame was when you played EZBac in AC but it is possible that the game was so new that players were not familiar with it and shyed away from it at that time. It is a whole different story today. The bottom line is, regardless what the math says when I am finished playing the shoe at EZBac I have more money in my pocket as I don't have to shell out $500 or more for commissions. Some people will say that if you had banker bet and a three card seven came out for bank that you lost your bet, the way I see I did not lose anything you cannot lose what you do not have, it would be no different then if they tie came out it is a push either way. In most of the shoes that I played I very seldom encountered a three card seven when I was betting for banker, most shoes only have one or two, three card seven for banker, and many shoes never have any. Another factor that is important is that the way I play I do not bet every hand as many players do (on average I will bet about 50% of the hands in the shoe) , playing every hand will increase your exposure to the three card seven on banker. My math tells me that every time I play EZBac I have more money in my pocket. Please, I hope nobody's going to tell me it's better for me because I play bigger units and pay higher commissions, no matter what size unit you play it's all relative.
  9. I am not quite sure why you say that you would actually be paying even more commission. As long as you do not make the sucker bets, NO commission is NO commission !!. The FEW times that the Dragon comes out in a shoe it will ONLY affect you if you HAPPEN to be betting on banker at that time, and even at that it is a PUSH not a loss. If this game gave the casino an edge the MGM and Wynns would not have removed it after they tried it for a few months. They removed it because they were losing money with it. BTW the house edge for EZ Bac is slightly less then regular Baccarat. 1.02 for EZ Bac as compared to 1.06 Personally I would rather play EZBac any day of the week rather than pay 5% commission on my banker wins.
  10. Most of the strip casinos that had EZ do not have it anymore the only two that I know on the strip that might still have it is the Monte Carlo or the Paris but that was over a year ago. There are other casinos besides Gold Coast that has EZ Baccarat, the Redrock Casino and all the stations casinos have it. Here is the email address of the owner of EZ baccarat, his name is Lue, I had his phone number but I cannot find it any longer as it has been some time ago, also not sure if this email address is still valid. lwdatdp@aol.com
  11. That is really not the point, if we were able to go back and see the shoe scans and play buys it would not mean a thing as they were from old systems. The point is that it was an excellent way of learning and should be implemented for the future by every member of this forum. BTW, what I am proposing is not for my benefit I am set in my way of playing, what I am proposing will help many of the new members who are having frustrating times with learning.
  12. Ha, six sample shoes! There should have been hundreds of sample shoes from all the members. How priceless would that have been ?
  13. The Way It Was If you all would go back into the forum about 4 or 5 years and read some of the post you will see The Way It Was back then. Back then when we played a shoe we would scan and post our scorecard the way we played it, and others would critique and point out the mistakes, then scan it and re post it. You will find the see hundreds of SC's that were posted. This was the best way to learn as others would also see the mistakes and learn from them, otherwise how would somebody know how to help you if they don’t know what you were doing. All the members would see this and benefit by each other’s scorecards and mistakes and critiques. Don’t be ashamed or embarrassed to post your score on the way you played it, this is how we learn by our mistakes. Also when someone had a tough shoe that they wanted the members to play for them, they would put the shoe on a SC and post it, not just put up the shoe as a shortcut and expect others to put it on the scorecard in order to play it for them. (Just common courtesy) Even many of your questions could be put on a scorecard scanned and posted. This visual way of learning was far better than what I see today with hand-by-hand verbal description. Look what happened recently when Jerry posted his scorecard, look at the interest and participation it created and the benefit that came from it. I truly believe that if everyone (including our teacher) would start doing things the way we did back then you would all learn much more and faster, and get so much more out of this forum. Please don’t tell me what I heard dozens of times in the past, which is my scanner don’t work or I don’t have a scanner or I don’t know how to post a SC on the forum. Scanners are cheap you can get a good scanner for around $50 that’s about three or four net bets at the table. As for not knowing how to post a SC, I could tell you that I am probably the most computer illiterate person on this form, if I was able to learn how to do it I am sure most of you can also. I am sure there are some computer geeks on this forum that can give detailed instructions as to how to post a SC. I hope I did not come on too strong with this post, but it is the best and fastest way to learn it’s the way I and many others have learned back then “The Way It Wasâ€. I am sure that some of the old timers will chime here and attest to what I am saying. Even to this day there is a small group of us that exchange SC on a weekly basis. Okay guys and gals I could lead a horse to water but I can't make him drink the ball is now in your court.
  14. Do you know something that I don't what are you talking about, what competition?
  15. That is exactly why I don't play at the hard rock casinos in Florida Every single dealer and pitiless has an attitude, too bad they are the only game in town.
  16. Hi Jdean Congratulations on your excellent playing, and your success at winning your investment back, you are without a doubt one of the fastest learners that there ever was on this forum. Keep up the good work. BTW, where are you from and what casino do you play at?
