Nice Podcast... - Never tried/ looked at Precision Blackjack...but I am familiar with the concepts of card counting, Basic Strategy and “ clumping”. BUT, putting them all together? No worries, I have to buy a bigger toolbox( the earnings from which would most pay for my tuition, vs. trying to Beat The Casino on my own...) Looking forward to Ron’s insight into the game, and I like the idea of him heading up a club focused on Blackjack ONLY...(sounds like he’s got some time-tested stuff could help me craft a side-gig in Blackjack!)

Yup. Thinking I got it figured out...we were staying out in Mesquite , NV @ a casino/ resort .... no Baccarat Golf course starts and finishes in AZ, but on state line...so in Nevada a few times as well during the round... (I've seen my “casino shadow” so many times, it had to be all about GroundHog Day...)

A HOLE-IN-ONE . The Palms , Littlefield AZ , par 3 , 217 yds. on the card , but the pin was up to 190, according to the range finder . Admittedly, a terrible golfer ( even worse than my Baccarat capabilities ! ) Thankfully ... the odds are usually better @ BAC 😈Perhaps fittingly, it was GroundHog Day ... since I used my Driver to “ shape a shot”, and was just trying to avoid all those big holes filled with sand surrounding the green, front and back...last 30 yards of carry looked like a slow roller ground-ball got past the shortstop and second baseman, and a worm-burner for sure ( good thing the flag was in! 😎 ) Alas ... cost me over $200 buying drinks in the clubhouse grill afterwards....Yikes ! What’s up with that ??

And if you “ want fries with that?) , or a “ value meal” ...best you understand at McD’s , all the profit comes from the “ drink component” ... Just like Baccarat, you try to package this all into a single, stand alone package? - Guess What ( doesn’t ) happen... So today, had ( even for Las Vegas) the rare opportunity to play alongside ...and have lunch with , 2 of our forum members. I would name them, but looking to keep everyone off of cell-block A ( including yours truly ) So we played the better part of 3 shoes...a couple at the Aria, and one at Palazzo 1st shoe Aria...just “ OK” 2nd shoe @ The Aria ( not talking out of school here) , if you cannot comprehend how those consecutive, 2-IAR’s might could just become your new best friend...read no further ... raining 2’s, like nobody’s business...One of our “ team” pointed it out to me about hand 40 or so...Vinny likely putting on the shades, even though might have been “ partly cloudy” in NJ today...( PS...I added that comment...not him!) 3rd shoe...played @ at Palazzo, went into it with stern warnings about those pesky, unpredictable1-IAR’s, and I am sure the participants in this Baccarat Murder Mystery would all agree - WE ALL MISSED THE BOAT...Once we “ woke up” , that ship had sailed... It was 87% solution on 1-IAR’s on Steroids! The point is this. Anybody , and I do mean all bodies, can really, really benefit from what we learn here as a group. 5 hours of playing with, and choking down a Pastrami on Rye, side by side, with two of our comrades...really, really fun and really, really well worth the monthly price-of- admission to BTC. - BTW...we all 3 of us witnessed other players come to the table, and/ or come-and-go back to the ATM ( or perhaps another casino) ?? And I am certain they likely could not possibly have understood just what it was we were talking about. I got no shoes to post, because between fielding a few phone calls, and playing alongside Mr. X. And Dr. Y., who can keep track? FTS. Believe it. Play it.

Heck, AV ? - He gets to work indoors. - The floors are always wet, so perhaps even some “ overtime pay”. ( a virtual Net-Fix 24/7 of video entertainment with the likes of FrenchTickler, LazySusan , EndGame and BigBob ? Leaves little time left for Baccarat play ...) Best part? , He works ’ hard’ he is sure to become the store’s BACKDOOR key holder...

Hey, MacBac...or Baca...or ? Lots of good stuff here. Especially you play online. unfortunately, I do not play on line and as have tried to repeatedly make clear here, living in Las Vegas, much more financially rewarding to go play than to spend my days on this kind of stuff ( analyzing spreadsheets) Call me. Hey Gordon, There are many factors to consider, and if you would like to call me 850-687-3128 ( PST time zone) I will explain how to work your way through those things...specifically using 5D, or anything else you would like to discuss ) - I cannot give you a “ pat” answer here, as I know nothing else about the shoe... ( anyone who has ever called me about 5D always comes away with a much better understanding of not just 5D, but things which will help you improve your winning ratio as compared with total hands played) Good luck, and hope you call... I think “ the drive by scanning method” may give you a clue, but let’s face it...ThisIsNot a SONIC BURGER COMMERCIAL.. ( deciding whether you “ want fries with that” ?, still boils down to whether-or-not what you want is on the menu...) And the best way to do that is to get really, really involved in analyzing the shoe., having a look whether to skip Chick-fil-A altogether...and move onto the next shoe... or, as Clara might have said...” WHERES THE BEEF?”
