  1. As long we have not an understanding of randomness or long-term fluctuation we will keep on looking for misfortune. Stu
  2. I am having a question 1 Nbj play shows the different types of game in which we start our progression. But is it not true that when we lose 3x in a row we leave the table! that is what I do. I am asking this cause games in which we lose 3x in a row are way to vulnerable therefore we should immediately abondon them. agree with my statement remark?! I come in play 1-1-2 and when not lose 3x in a row I go 1-2-3 ---------------- Question 2 when I am playing alone what is the best to play first base while thrid base. 3 boxes? and how should I bet the first base like a progression? question 3 8 are heigh cards ,but when an 8 comes after a low card should i count it as a low card? same with the sevens? I think I have asked Q3 before but anyway. thanks a lot and how are you doing lately? and we keep barking!
  3. "I don't know why you make this statement: "One way of knowing if things are random is you use nbj players strategy from the moment you sit down headsup and if you bust all the time you know it could be close to a random game." what I meant is that NBj playing strategy( hit when lows are running and so on) will only works against non random cards therefore if using it hitting versus low cards my 12-16 and sometimes 17, busting than it could mean the cards could be random, therefore i should relate now on basic strategy. Therefore I thought that because of busting the game would not be random going along observing clumped cards. It is good you correct the things what does not make sense, it is the way the learning curve goes. But I have noticed your point that there is no correlation between breaking and random cards. I had this spin going on in my head cause I think about the game a lot. About my sessions yesterday. funny that two tables were full. and there your advise was waiting for me. therefore I opened a table. You know how it goes...........People are afraid being responsible and only dare to play when blaming others, so I could not sit there for long alone other than 10 minutes people popping in and out. I bought in with 12 chips. The dealer washed the cards, than did an easy shuffle dividing in two parts and riffled the cards 3 times. than they went in the machine. "If the cards are new you can assume they are random". Please correct me here but I understood new cards are clumpedll cause they do not shuffle them right, there fore I assume the cards are not random because I was the first playing with this cards. I have to play them random what goes pretty fast playing against the csm headsup. I indeed flat bet assuming the cards are somewhat clumped because of this situation and hitting versus the low cards pretty much. the problem was that people came in and out the game making the game going from headsup to 5 spots blackjack ( inclusive dealer spot) making me only flat bet for the evening leaving this unfavourable situation pretty fast. I am not playing more than 4 spots cause against like you agreed on my statements earlier other than flat betting the negative progressions are good versus a random game. From 5 spots it started to over clump again as I call it what will hurt my nbj betting. I won 30% roi flatbetting cause I did not got the situation right to start the 112-123-134 thing going on. Thanks Ellis and may god bless you with a great new year! I have invited you to my facebook yesterday. And thanks for the name. i will try to get through him.
  4. As you said............playing headsup! You don't need to see a lot of cards to know if they are random: Are high vs lows coming out pretty much intermittantly or in clumps either clean or dirty? If random, go right into your 123. (If not, it's best to leave.) If doing well with 123, quickly advance to 134. The key is: Are you winning your second bets most of the time??? If you are and you haven't lost 3 in a row, advance to 146. One question about this part and that is why I am intriged how the winning player who plays headsup will bet the view hands before he decide to leave or adapt into random play cause it request the qualification of randomness. If random we go immidiately int 123. But how do we bet from the first hand before we qualify the game as random or not, just flat. I am not sure you answered that, One way of knowing if things are random is you use nbj players strategy from the moment you sit down headsup and if you bust all the time you know it could be close to a random game. Thanks again I am asking those questions cause I am heading to lisbon tonight for a session right now.
  5. "We have a top player who plays CSM's head to head for low stakes until they are random - then plays NBJ 3rd base for VERY high stakes against those random cards. He never loses. You might try that". Thanks for the confirmations you gave me, it is good to know I am pretty close to being right. One thing though here with the player winning all thetime in the quote notified here. The guy plays csm head to head for low stakes until they are random. my question is.... Does he play 1-2 first base headsup until random and than the usual stuff? Can I contact him here and what is his name at the forum, cause i am playing csm here nothing else? Thanks and for you all the best in the new year!
  6. Some other observations and thoughts after I played in lisbon yesterday. won with a 50% ROI. Any number of spots I mention is inclusive dealer relating to the confirmations I ask for to be correct written down here. •1st base nbj 5 spots works best / Bigger than 5 spots tough! •We randomnize only headsup. Bigger than 4 spots negative progressions do not well. 2 spots up to 4 spots suits best for negative progesessions. •3-4 spots games NBJ playing strategy comes in play using also negative progressions.
  7. Fabulous! I am learning that is why I ask so much. I guess you do not mind that. I hope I can make it one day soon about a 1.5 year span from now visiting you. maybe I can stay with you for a certain time paying some rent. Anyway. I am reading your reply and I have some questions Of course will this ever stop my questions procedures. lol 1. "NBJ First Base in the right window of clumping is the very BEST situation in BJ but recognize that it is a time sensitive event because head to head play WILL randomize the cards which ruins your First Base advantage." This means that we can use first base by observing while we intent to play third base strategy. I think in csm's headsup will very quick randomnize the cards therefore it should be a bit carefully taken when playing first base nbj. So it mainly will work in shoe games cause it takes much longer to randomnize those cards possible. Correct? 2. To shuffle one deck of cards takes about 7x in order to make it randomn so playing headsup against a shoe will take how long to make that correctly random?t? 3. Some other observations and thoughts after I played in lisbon yesterday. won with a 50% ROI. Any number of spots I mention is inclusive dealer relating to the confirmations I ask for to be correct written down here. 1st base nbj 5 spots works best / bigger than 5 spots tough! We randomnize only headsup>4 spots negative progressions do not well. 9 (2spots) and suits best for negative progessions. 3-4 spots games NBJ playing strategy comes in play using also negative progressions. Thanks Ellis keep you updated. I can only play against csm here with 6 decks inside. Look forward to your answer!
  8. "Recognize that except with brand new cards the lowest stakes red games are the most difficult to win because the cards have been played the most in the whole casino". I think that csm's with the 3 or 4 spots occupied will be the best spots It will also generate very fast random situation playing not more than 3 spots with dealer being spot 4. and headsup of course From 5 or more csm clumps and should also be avoided.. I just want to be verifying the thought process of you in a way I am correct. Against the random cards we play basic strategy not anymore the nbj strategy or a situation is obvious. If you see clumped game you say get the **** out of the game and wait for a better game to come. Thanks
  9. Some points to be verify... "You should never use any up as you win sequence in BJ. Perfect Basic Strategy has a hands won rate of only 43% overall. This makes up as you win suicidal, Fibonaci especially. It also makes flat betting suicidal" 1. So comparing the up when you win strategy........cause dealer breaking games disappeared we delete all up when you win! 2. 7 players game in a csm will still see a lot of clumping, therefore flatbetting can be won cause the game is not random with this condition right? First base strategy loses with 6 spots inclusive dealer cause you get the ten but a low card as second card most of the time. Right? "Also forget playing with more than 4 players" 3. tht means 3 players plus dealer is still OK means 4 players but anything above that do not play! Correct? Thanks studying your questions means more questions but that is the game called living life! LOL Thanks in advance
  10. yesterday I have played in one of the european casinos versus the csm. I have some questions. although I have lost my nbj manual I still know about what I have to do. Some observations.... When people go desperate always changing the number of boxes the game with a csm becomes unstable Less than 6 inclusive dealer (optimal for progressions 112 123 134 and so on. (csm random) 6 and more spots inclusive dealer clumping starts to be visible and progression do not solve it. Now flatbetting becomes a winner or you might use oscar grind progression setting goal at winning 1 unit. Losing 3 times in a row leave! Now questions. YOu come to a empty table! You are gonna play headsup. What do i do? I can not assume the cards are random or non random cause I have no information what happened before. What I have to look at while playing headsup and how long I have to play non basic before I can assume the cards are random in order to start 112 123 134 and so on! How to bet when I am entering the table? Just bet oscar or missing method of patterson betting ( I asked for that in this forum, winners handbook from jerry patterson) In order to feel the table than if things are green light I am going to bet nbj progressions. Thanks for the answer in advance!
  11. Hi there, Who can help me out? I am looking for some info in a book I had before but I lost longtime ago. It is correlating to betting setting a goal for 3 chips. after a few levels you end up on a dealer breaking table with fibonacci sequence, according to shuffle csm's. When I face more than 6 players on a table I mostly play flat betting hitting stiffs when last cards are seemingly low. I am not using progressions with those situations except the oscar progression setting a goal +1. so basically using nbj strategy. flat betting with a progression sometimes using oscar. If losing 3 times in a row. I go back to base bet . inclusive dealer so 5 spots at max inclusive dealer I use 112/123/134. what you guys think? about the idea here! I thnk flat betting you win against shuffle csm machines. I tracked aces last time and those cards got still together too? Just an obeservation so one thing you can add is ace sequencing mostly with situation more than 5 spots.
  12. this should be perfect on shuffe machines but still than those cards are highly dependable on number of persons. So lets say.my best condition I am looking for is.............headsup against the dealer ( one hand for me versus one hand for the dealer. playing basic strategy! or up to 3 players Plus one of the dealer makes it 4! When you talk about 4 players you mean inclusive the dealers hands rigth! Thanks:rolleyes:
  13. Hi Ellis a few points here... 1. holland yes, that highjumper afraid of squels running through your house. 2. if we talk about the number of players at your table...we say 4 players means 3 players inclusive dealers hand?! 3."But you always want to be positioned at 3rd base in heads up play because a single player will always randomize the cards eventually giving 3rd base NBJ player his maximum advantage in all of BJ. Now he might start by playing the NBJ First Base Strategy from 3rd base but he is looking to switch to 3rd base NBJ strategy as the cards randomize"................................ ....................I am getting confused here, headsup randomnizing the game means me playing one hand against the dealer one hand? I would understand the randomnizing process much better in a continues shuffle machine playing headsup, but in a shoe game the handshuffle will still clump those cards cause he does not shuffle more than 7 times what is only randomnizing the game correlating to one deck! So how many shuffles in a shoe game or how many hands will it take versus a shuffle machine making it random. 4. First base NBJ!.........they burn one card every hand they play! Does that not destroy the first base strategy? Shall we instead playing first box and second box when they burn one card every round before dealing started? 5. I will check with keith about the NBJ manual, when ever you want to come to Portugal let me know! You stay with me and we kill estoril! LOL
  14. I would be pleased to meet you again one day or the other Ellis, if you can remember me staying in your house, jumping over wires, looking to insane animals flowing through your house. How are you doing? A lot has happened to me in the mean time. By example I have written a book about love and the observation of human suffering while playing poker counting cards in Vegas. I am having an open mind for all in life. I think we can create only progress not to be fixated one way or the other. When April 15 happened, better known as black Friday last year I was sitting at MC Donald in Vegas in which I realized that the American dream now needs to be lived in bankrupt Portugal just for the meantime. I have stayed in the USA for 11 years illegal after divorcing my American wife who I was married with for only one year. I took a flight to Vegas and never looked back, counting cards and playing poker. I never forgot you though. My laptop broke down for a few days and I took of to the casinos in Estoril and Lisboa watching the shuffle machines. It always bugs me that I can see that NBJ will work very well against those machines but only if the situations are right. So the most important thing is to know when things are not OK in order to avoid damage. so I looked and what I did notice? They burn a card using shuffle machines. The same type they use now almost everywhere. The continues shuffle machines) I sit down and the only thing I did was hitting when lows where running. Playing basic with random ten ratios (3.25) To my findings NBj works first base perfectly only when you have 4 or 5 boxes played inclusive that of the dealers. but as soon we play 6 or 7 boxes (full table) I can not find a way to win with NBJ. So what I am doing wrong. I have bought the NBJ manual but lost that moving around. So it would be nice if I could download it again if you remember me. Things has been evolved and would like to be informed about how to proceed from here. I kind of forgot the conditions in which we can play winning against the machines from the last spot or any and if we should play only against 4/5 spots cause than NBJ will work! Playing heads up against the dealer will randomize the cards very fast playing in a shuffle machine but how are we going to do that. I would love to get in touch with players here. If any of you would like to take a holiday in Portugal you are welcome to stay in my house for free so we could hit the tables and discuss learn. You can only do so much. part of a team would be a great thing to cause that will increase the progress. Ok Ellis you can reach me at thebarkingstorkonstage11@gmail.com and for you all others I would welcome any discussion. All the best!
  15. Boris is correct about the number of players with clumped cards as far as he goes. But recognize that you will do relatively well head to head in clumped cards even though you will push a lot of 20's. The advantage is that head to head randomizes the cards, prepping them for head to head NBJ 3rd base random card play. This is the very best opportunity in the casino esp. with a 146 prog. third base? Is that the last seat at the table? Could someone explain this text a bit for me here? thanks
  16. Hi, I am concentrating myself right now on first base. When you guys talk about third base are you talking about the 7th seath at the last box, the one before the dealer. I am getting abit confused there. How should I play wiht 7 players sitting at the table inclusive the dealer from any position. I am not sure if NBJ first base works with 7 players. Any advise to get me going?! Thanks. I have nothing done else than observations. And my observations seemed to be right, now discovering this site a while ago. We do not raising our bet if we see a single ten do we? I did that but I think it is better to see at least the 3 card taking those in consideration before you make a decision. Playing the first 2 boxes will that help for first base? Or what to do when there is a place but not at first base? Are we playing only 1-4-6 from all the other positions except first base? Would be so nice to meet some one at one of the online casinos and we could play there life. That would speed up the learning process. I am willing to pay for that too. thanks for answering my questions Bulll21 Bull21
  17. Hi Ellis, Always thanks for your answers. I have some questions about the things I see at the online 8 decker I play life at one of the casino's. Some things I do, and please let me know I am right or not. I am looking to th last 3 cards.............H-L-H..... I assume low Looking to the last 3 cards more than 50 percent should be Tens, If the last one of the 3 cards is a low like T-T-5 I am not assuming the first card is a Ten or A Seeing something like T-6-7 or T-T-7 I also not bet. It seems the 7 is a changing card but I am not sure why. Playing mainly with 7 players and first base. That you say we look at low counts than it is cause we hit our 19 and twneites when hitting 17. I hit seventeen a lot also 18 when I think the dealers card is a high one and he has a ten up. I do not care about breaking. Let me know my assumptions and please let me know how I should bet from here. I use 5 dollar as base bet and 25 dollar as bet when I expect ten coming. 4/5 is best but with 7 players it works too cause we win more bets cause we hit more anyway. Thanks Bull21
  18. H Ellis, I know how to count cards, I also know how to observe things, Experiencing and staying open for new things. I have actually great succes in roulette at one of the online casinos at the poker version of roulette. There are two types of "randomness" Mechanical and by algorythm.......................both not randomn. I am not going to tell you here what I am doing cause people read stuff ( the average casino jerk) I can tell you that you can reverse the non randomness of a certain type of algorythem. I am up! I also laugh so hard about the 8 decks games life in a online casino. I am hitting 17 making 20 and 21! OMG!!!! I think one day or the other we should meet in an online casino in which you could teach me NBJ or what the improvements are based up third base and first base, the differences and how and when to play it. It is to early for me now , but I prefer private coaching over manuals. Please some argurments for my findings, and how I can improve my playing from third base with 7 players at the tables inclusive the dealer. My email is thebarkingstorkonstage11@gmail.com Your sincerely, Bull21
  19. I am a cardcounter with an open mind for change! I recognized the machines here in Europe in which they put the cards back in the machines after every round dealed. They also burn a card every hand before dealing a new round. Some points.... Play 10 min. Seat base. Number of players... 4 inclusive dealer. Strategy.... last card a ten. Betting bigger first base. What happened? First hand.....Bet 5...low cards.....got a double versus a 6 . did not double receiving a low card. lost the hand Second hand.... Last dealer ten..............Bet 10....won with first card ten. Third hand.......last card dealer ten.....Bet 20...Won first card ten....making 14 hitting 21. I left.............Conclusion. I know 4/5 players inclusive dealer is optimum for blackjack. Now overclumping. 7 players do not work cause overclumping at first base. Any more thoughts improving what I am doing? Hit when lows are running. Stay when highs are running. thanks Second hand....
