  1. thanks Ellis....your advice is always very good and your approach is very structured. Indeed amateur like me always make unforgiving mistakes which does mean i need more practices down the road. i wish you can consider organising a class in Singapore for players like us.
  2. congrats Core for this great results....what was your biggest win and biggest lose for the records at genting?
  3. hi Connie, do you have a good thread on NB? too many threads in the forum that will consume too much time for me to grasp NB. I wish to quickly pick the skill up soon before my return trip to SG on the 8th.....and will quickly arrange to meet up with you (my sifu) and hurricane soon.

are you available on the 9th April to RWS?

  4. Hi Ellis, i have 2 questions here after reading your clarification above. 1) given that SAP is a rather complex concept to grasp and has its short comings, do you think it is suffice for Asian players to just focus on NOR and NORA? 2) dont quite understand your statement below. Are you saying the NOR approach will have consistency issue with the preshuffled cards in Asia? If yes, what sort of solutions are there for Asian players? "SAP loses much of its advantage in preshuffled cards. This is why our many Asian players have trouble with the consistancy of NOR Modes. They are based on SAP. They are playing mostly preshuffled cards. There is a logical way around that which I have hinted at before but we need an official NOR chapter that deals directly with that issue." As always, your advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Raymond
  5. oh.....got it. thanks Witchygal. it is a sign of mental block after overdigesting the NOR theories. haha
  6. Hi Witchygal, do you know the answer to my question below? rgds, Raymond
  7. hi andy...so hardworking ya....see you online now. Hey do you have any good threads here in NOR that can recommend? i hope i can "come out of the mountain" within the next 2 wks.....haha

  8. yeah...i know not to play such table ever since i learn NOR but just curious which side has the advantage. cheers, Raymond
  9. Hi Ellis, sorry to raise a question that relates to an old shoes. Could you advise why you will bet OTR the 3rd time at 41 play under S40 mode 2? and also why you will continue to bet Player at play 46 & 47? I can understand the logic for the rest of the play except those 2. Thanks, Raymond
  10. actually i saw live table at Sands in Singapore and just out of curiosity to know which side of the bet has more advantage over the other.
  11. sorry....can someone explain what is LC and MC? Thanks.
  12. We challenge OURSELVES. We challenge ourselves to ALWAYS find the easiest table in the casino to beat. We challenge ourselves to always maintain a -8 stop loss. We challenge ourselves to quit at our goals. We challenge ourselves to play OUR way and not follow the hoard - they lose!

  13. Hi Ellis, Wondering have you come across a type of Baccarat game where one of the card at Player box is fixed at 7, meaning that if the second card is 2, the player will deem to have 9 points while the banker as usual, will require to draw minimum 2 cards. What do you think of such table game? Which side is more advantage? Rgds, Raymond
  14. how are you, connie? still frequent RWS often lately? and doing well? i have more or less understood NOR after reading the sample games.

  15. Hi Ellis, What does "Big excursions into plus and minus" mean? Are you trying to mean if the OR count in a particular shoe takes from high +/- and back to low +/-.....and such F2,3 will fit best. Rgds, Raymond
  16. Hi Core - glad to know you are on profitable ground. can you share what is the $ value per unit of your bet each time?
  17. Hi Ellis - do you have a simple quick way to compute the +5? i realise i have to take slightly less than a minute to do the math. I am sure you have a quicker way...
  18. thanks so much, Sifu (it means, a teacher or a master in chinese).....you are very responsive.
  19. Hi Ellis, Do you have a thread that has detailed coverage on Mode 2 & 3? I guess many of us would come to a stage where we are confused by mode and bet progression. Can this relationship be structured in a form of table to demonstrate how 123 4, 234 and 345 blend with the modes? just as you quoted above, "In Mode 2, our preferred mode, your highest bet is 3. When you lose a 3 you go back to 1"....what if we win a 3, do we continue as 3 or reduce to 1? and what does the underlined mean? "Only Mode 3 has a 4 bet and even then, only if it would have won last time. So we very seldom bet 4" Rgds, Raymond
  20. Hi Core, How is your overall trip to Genting? Or are you still continuing your long haul battle with devil? Rgds, Raymond
  21. thanks Kachatz1.....do you or anyone else have other must-read threads for newbie to NOR? Greatly appreciate for any advice from anyone.
  22. Hi Keith and Ellis, Just to inform you that I have made the payment for NOR. Please acknowledge receipts and activate the account soon. Thanks, Raymond
  23. Hi Ellis, ok i will sign up NOR over the weekend. I am sure I will benefit a lot from those materials but strongly believe the learning will take a huge leap if you make a visit to Asia. Many of us would be excited to play along with you. Rgds, Raymond
