  1. Thanks for the response. I know that the casinos make big money off Baccarat, I read that is due to the high rollers. I just also read that mini bacc does not get the comps, but it's good to hear they do. Also, I think people know exactly what I mean when I say no skill. It's a chance game, but using betting skills increase your chances. There is not anything to play regarding the cards, only the bets. That's what I meant. I've played hours upon hours of bacc, just not at the casino. So I'm wondering how MGM is set up if anyone knows. I read that the El Cortez has lower end Baccarat, I wonder if I should try that first. I'm not sure how my questions or misconceptions about comping would lead to a gigantic misadventure When I get back to the states (in Asia now) I'll be able to purchase things online, and maybe I'll join the inner sanctum forum, but I can't just now. OH , and yes, and from playing I could tell this is a game where you want more people at the table so you can find a winner to follow if you're not hot yourself. I'll definitely be looking around at who is betting. I also don't know if MGM has those score sheets or if I have to bring my own. I'll be making notations of Player Banker and Opposite and Repeat. Frankly, I'm not sure I can handle much more at this stage, it's enough to keep track of, and I'll likely be nervous in the casino setting. Thanks again for your response and help.
  2. Hello! Going to be in Vegas in September, and I have just discovered Baccarat recently. I'm playing on my PC for practice. I'm planning on playing in Vegas at the MGM Grand, and wondering if anyone has any info on what goes on there? Of course I'm planning on the mini tables. That sounds good to me, it sounds like the games go faster than the high roller games where people are dealt cards. My understanding is MGM has twenty five dollar min, tables, which is fine with me also. I'll be there on a week day, likely. Are there good times to go? I know this game is much much better with more people. I can see who is winning and sit out hands if I can. Do they have sheets where you can mark down winning hands? I'm wondering if I approach the table and people are already playing if I can look at their sheets? I also heard that casinos don't give comps for this game if you win big. Does anyone know if this is true? It doesn't surprise me really, the game is pretty much "easy" money. I do know one can lose at it, I'm not naive, but there's basically no skill, only in betting, so if you don't go overboard, one should walk away with something. Also, I'm having a hard time finding Baccarat PC games. I have one that I downloaded, the others that I found are demos or scams. So in addition to the one that I found and play, I log in to a casino site that does free play. It's interrupted with them wanting me to do real play a lot, but it's a decent board. It's at euro casino... My PC game gets cumbersome and they take out money for ties which really screws me up. I pay myself back, but that's hard because you can only pay yourself in one hundred increments, so then if I need to lose money because I overpaid myself I bet on a tie, and that gets tedious and messes up my flow. Do you guys have any Bac info on MGM and any suggestions for downloadable games? Thanks boomz
