  1. No it's a push (you don't win or lose, just get your bet back) on a winning 3 card bank hand of 7
  2. I've been (paper) practicing with Nor and don't seem to know how to deal with progressions as far as winning hands on bank that are dragons since it's just a push instead of a win, for example if I'm playing s40 and i'm on a 2bet on bank and it's a dragon should I just make my next bet on opposite a two bet on player or should I regress back down to a 1 bet..confused on this:confused: thanks in advanced (by the way I'm getting better at Nor my local casinos deal alot of otb shoes is there anyone in northern California?
  3. Thanks, I'm still getting down s40 but what's the idea behind s40 m1?
  4. Hope he is well, so were you saying he is better now
  5. Hi I've been getting back into BAC and can't wait to the 4d comes out but I'm still learning Nor from scratch. I went to one of my local casinos today and recorded one of these 2 shoes. I'm trying to identify the bias in each one to play Nor with. The first one looks good for s40 but looks like there would be crazy mode switching in the middle and the second one looks totally chaotic and don't know which system would be best. I'm thinking maybe the casinos in my city might actually have random cards but i'm not 100% on that but if they are would it be better to do net betting with OvR or BvP? Here's the two shoes..first one is a complete shoe not counting ties. Second one is only half a shoe. (*I didn't know how to post it by 20 plays per column as I without having broken some of the runs, how would I do this) B1213121121114111113142432112121132121 Shoe 2 B123555214311111211 If someone could give me a play by play with what system(also with a 2 or 3hi because I'm conservative), would greatly be appreciated as it would shorten my learning curve. Thanks:smile:
  6. I recently bought the Nor Manual about a month ago and wanted to know if I was able to switch to the team play bj, since it's close to the same price. I would be able to pay the difference. The BAC conditions at my casinos seem pretty random alot of the times and it's kind of frustrating. I also have a friend who plays BJ regularly so the team play would be perfect. Uncle Ellis would you be able to contact Keith for me because I would like to know what I'm able to do thx
  7. Hi, im trying to learn otb4l nor+ because my casino rarely has strong s40 or f shoes but are extremely biased to otb4l. I get the basic opposites followed by repeats betting but I'm confused with the modes because you have to keep track of straight runs as well as zz's. I understand you have can also go to mode 1, can anyone explain with an example of how to do this from past shoes or play by play it would be really helpful for a newbie like me thx
  8. Thanks for the wisdom Ellis I will definitely find out about the card prep situation today. Also I will find any info I need on the forums from now on lol. Could anyone go over these two shoes using Nor or Nor+. These are practice shoes I did from my local casino. The first I used basic Nor otb4l starting from play 2 and got all the way up to +14 by play 22 but after hitting +10 for the third time I would of quit there with profit. The second shoe I also used otb4l starting at play 4 but that didn't work out for me so well as I ended up -6 by play 18 and would have quit there. Looking at it now I think I would have used F3, any thoughts? P 3121221213331111611211222421512 P 1421113411132 Also about table and starting selection. Sometimes I'll see a tote board that reads a really good otb4l shoe then by the next shoe it's really choppy. And vice versa. So ohow should I go about starting a shoe if the last ne was very biased for one specific system?
  9. Funny you say that because I seen so many ppl lose yesterday it was almost sad. This one guy bet a $1000 on banker and lost TWICE!! then left the casino. Good example of what not to do. So Ellis do you think it's a good idea to write the shoes down on a scorecard from the casino then practice them at home with the different systems or what do you think is the best way to practice? Also didn't you say all Nor+ is, is Nor with U1D2 betting? and can you explain what U1D2 betting is..thx
  10. (Somehow started this thread twice on accident trying to edit the first one, don't know how to delete the other one sorry lol) Hi All, My name is Marty. I'm new to the forum and new to Nor. I'm in northern California and im 23 years old. I have been reading the manual over and over and I think I have been getting a good grasp on it. I have been visiting a local casino here in Sacramento called Lotus Casino it's really small but it has 5 baccarat tables it's EZ baccarat with the dragon and panda bets. I have been trying to practice otb4l doing free practice on my scorecard (I want to be able to beat the shoe free before using real $) but I keep losing to zz and straight runs. Anyone have any ideas? Also if anyone is in Northern California or California let me know maybe we can play somewhere. Thanks in Advance Marty
