  1. I don't get to a casino very often - once every few weeks or so - and the closest casino does not have baccarat. I play e-roulette - a version of MDB, five dollar units. I play only a few hours and usually win from 30 - 70 dollars. I remember one time I had only 7 dollars in winnings. I actually took a photo of that 7 dollars and made it my screen saver on my phone -- every time I looked at my phone, it was a reminder that I did not lose - and I am a winner. The next trip I was in the right frame of mind - I love taking home money from the casino! My husband thinks gambling is a waste of time - so I call this my little hobby. There aren't many hobbies that actually make money. Thanks to BTC, I have fun and do not lose to the casinos. I do have a little plan in place to start raising my units - my bankroll needs built up, but I'm getting there! *** Keeping your Winnings . I have a little treasure box on my dresser , and I put my cash winnings in it. It's fun to watch it fill up. It's a start. Next step - pay off mortgage Next step - pay off my kids's mortgages. I'm a dreamer-Thanks for all the valuable information and ideas on this forum - I log on every day! Abby N
  2. Keith - is there a different discount code for NOR players? Or can I use the MDB discount code? Thanks! Abby N Never Mind!! I found the code
  3. Hello Ellis! Thanks for your feedback! I like to try the NOR system sometimes, but it seems as soon as I jump in, the game will change and I get discouraged from playing. I need a little kick sometimes to go after the opportunities when they present themselves. Thanks! I like playing MDB+ the best because the rules are simple and the win rate is high. When the rules for MDB 2Hi are published, I'll be sure and play it along with MDB+. I'm still practicing and playing 10 and 25 dollar units. One of these weeks, things will start clicking away and baccarat will start making money for me. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and all the great systems! Abby N
  4. I've never seen 22 bankers in a row - I've seen 13 in a row. Here's another example of baccarat hands. Yesterday I was playing MDB+ and two -five in a rows came up. I'm thinking "this is great! I'll just bet that the next four in a row won't go to five." I knew this was a good MDB+ bet, because I was at the same casino the previous week and of the three games I played, each game had fours go to five or more only twice each game. So, when the next four in row, I bet opposite and don't you know, it was a repeat - five in row. Now I'm thinking "this is still good - that's three-five in a rows - next bet should be gold." I patiently waited until the NEXT four in row showed, I bet correctly in my progression, and...here it comes....but, no...five in a row AGAIN. That made four - five in a rows without a four in a row in between. Now, I'm thinking "what the heck!!??" Game continues and here comes yet another four in row. I bet according to MDB+ rules. And here's what happened....five in a row. (!!??) That made five - five in rows without a four in a row. What are the odds? Oh well. (Sigh). It didn't hurt too much, because I had won my MDB+ bets on each of the two previous games. (7 units total), so I was even for the day. ---------------------------------------------- ***Sidenote regarding MDB+ Remember how I mentioned the games from the previous week rarely went over four in a row. I replayed my games from the previous week, using OTB4L - and won a lot of units (on paper), so I tried playing OTB4L in addition to MDB+ this week. OTB4L did not do well at all for this weeks games, but MDB+ came out on top. Have a Great New Year!!! Abby N
  5. Hollywood Casino in Columbus Ohio has Stadium style Baccarat and Roulette. Players can play the baccarat at ten dollar minimum, or roulette at five dollars, or both games at the same time. Eight seats for now. The roulette wheel is in the center of the seats, and the baccarat is a live feed from one of the tables in the casino (I walked around and determined which table it was). I can't travel to Las Vegas due to limited vacation time, so I seldom get to play the game, so I was glad to try MDB+ the other day. First time playing-I played ten dollar units for a little over two hours and won seven units. It was a good day for me, because I have now seen for myself that MDB+ is a winning system. I plan to go back and play larger unit size next week. I thought this might be useful information for other folks that live in the midwest and might need playing experience at low minimums. (like me-I need to build up my bankroll) Abby N
  6. Request: I have been a member since June of last year, but do not have a Bootcamp manual. I checked on the bootcamp forum the other day, but the link to the manual did not exist, or was obsolete. Keith or Ellis, how might I get a copy? Thanks! Abby N
  7. jaybird8521 quote: But to this day, we still do not have a solid set of rules that allows us to achieve this. I've been playing every possible combination of rules that we've considered so far (u1d1, u1d2, betting opps, going otr after 2,3 and 4 losing bets, etc) and the way I'm playing now is the closest I've come to hitting a +4 80% of the time (playing mechanically with zero guess work) across all shoe types with complete disregard for table selection. But since nobody seems to be interested in this and would rather keep pointing out how NOR would have killed a particular shoe in retrospect, then let's just stick with NOR and the new variations that Ellis is coming up with. -------------- jaybird: I have been doing the same thing - playing every possible combination - and your method is similar to how I have been playing. I stop betting for a few hands when I see a streak - so your rules make sense to me and I will be practicing with them. Thanks for posting and for explaining so well! Quizzical1 quote: I've been playing your shoes -and other's - behind the scenes "three ways from Sunday" using different methods to see if there's one method that is albeit NOT perfect, but playable enough to generate modest wins (up to 5 units) as mechanically as possible. --------------quizz: I agree and I wish to thank you for the Simplified 4D! Great stuff! I think you and many of the members of BTC are geniuses! (including Prof Ellis and Keith!!) LOU30 quote: So please continue with your work. Every member of my family and all my friends think i have gone completely bonkers at the amount of time they see me sitting here surrounded with papers full of little circles(as they say), with files full of notes and old shoe history's scratching my head deep in thought, as if nothing else in the world matters... ------------- Lou: My family thinks the same of me!! Ha ha - little circles and notebooks and deep in thought and laptop with baccarat website open ...... Please keep the posts coming! --------------Note to Ellis and members: I haven’t been posting or asking questions lately - there has been a ton of new information these past few months - and I agree completely that if new members read the NOR manual and understand net betting, then this all makes sense. I am so glad to be a member. I still practice every night - I am going to Vegas in few weeks. I will be tracking all my sessions and will post my progress. One of the first things I do after I get home from work is to log onto BTC and view the new posts for the day..so keep ‘em coming!! Abby N
  8. Katchatz1, are you playing the shoe only until you are ahead by one unit? If yes, then do you change the twist numbers and keep playing the same shoe for another unit? Abby N
  9. Kachatz1, I seldom post, but this sounds exciting! It's fun reading all these "teaser" posts. I'm sure there are a lot of members reading.. and waiting.. My day job is a factory worker - maybe this is my way out!! Abby N
  10. Glenn - I won't be much help with specific questions - I see some of the experienced members have already given you great advice - which I plan to follow as well. I can tell you that I started reading all the information on the public forum - every page - before I became a member. There is a lot of information to be found and pieced together. Every evening I am on the members bacarat forum - mostly still reading the NOR thread. I have three notebooks of practice shoes and notes. It takes a lot of time. I'll see if I am on the right track when I go "live" at the casino. From all I've read so far and from all my practice, I should be able to walk away with 10 units per shoe, as long as I stay professional and use what I have learned. I have to admit - even though NOR works for me in practice, I'm anxious to see if I can do it for real. I sure hope to make back my membership fee and then never look back! Casino Here I Come! Abby N
  11. I am a new member and have been reading and learning..I have found that I dream about playing bacarrat! It is getting clearer in my mind and the more I read, the more I understand! I've been playing on betphoenix with "fun money" and have found that now that I know how to play NOR and NOR+, I win most shoes. I'm going to a b&m casino Thursday and will post a report on how things go. Thanks to everyone on this website! And Hello to Ellis - you are my new hero! Glad to hear you are feeling better! Rest up and we all hope to see your responses soon. Abby N
  12. Hello everyone! My name is Abby N. and I’m a new member! I’ve read the public BTC Baccarat forums as a guest for several months; I've practiced a lot by using the free information that I found--kept a lot of records and notes; I opened a “fun play†account at betphoenix - not getting ahead, but holding steady, so I need to learn the NOR and NOR+ so I can win consistently and then deposit real money. I am from the Midwest and the nearest casino is 2 and ½ hrs away. My husband is not interested in gambling. A few of my friends play slots - none of them have ever read a book or studied anything about gambling. So, baccarat is my secret world - thank goodness for this forum! I appreciate how polite and patient all of the members of this forum are - especially Ellis. The big news of the day is..that..after reading the manual and spending several hours reading the NOR threads - light bulbs are lighting up in my head! I’m understanding the concepts! And I finally figured out what On the Run means! I don’t like to ask many questions, so I may not post a lot..but I will keep reading and learning and practicing! I want to prove to my husband and friends that going to casinos can be fun and profitable, and not a silly waste of time. So glad to be a member!!! Abby N
