Hello experts.
Have you seen the movie 21. For folks who don't know or not seen it's a classic movie of the blackjack card counting invented by MIT students and later took Vegas for millions. Watch it if you have not done so.
There is a mathematic probability game situation in the movie where the students are presented with 3 boxes. The student is allowed to pick 1 box contains which contains gold and you are given only 2 chances to get lucky.
One student (the hero) selects the Box no 1.
The teacher reveals that box no 2 is empty.
He immediately switches his selection to box no 3 as his choice of selection. Because it has a higher possibility. Don't understand why.
I have a nagging question. All the triggers point to Banker bet in blackjack.
And then we hit a tie. Should we switch to Player by the above anomaly?
I know we don't care about Ties in BTC.But what would you personally do if you have to with gut instincts.
I saw this on the "public bacarrat forum" posted by Brad. Thanks mate.
It is never necessary to use either mode - everything is up to you
Modes 2 and 3 as per the manual were designed to allow you to sustain either 2 losses (mode 2) or 3 losses (mode 3) and still continue playing the method you were playing
When you follow a bias you are going to at some point sustain a loss
The question is do you think that the loss was just a deviation and therefore the bias will continue?
How many losses in a row do you keep betting that the bias you are trying to follow will return?
Or do you reverse the theory and go OTR (follow the change)
Its all determined by what you see as consistent events happening.
Of course murphy's law says you will sit back and choose a mode and as soon as you bet - the event that you have chosen to avoid will come up!
What sort of progression are you using if any?
As for a streaky shoe are you referring to TBL or F / SS ?
Its all things you have to consider

Hi Trillion.. thanks.. always greatful for experienced folks sharing their perspectives.
This was my confusion too...
In some posts i see some mention of s40M1 and understanding of modes in the NOR as proceeding to the next level.
so what if you do when you follow a method and lose 1 hand.... immediately go OTR?
or do you continue until losing the second hand.
Fellows.
I am confused with the modes.
I am sure this has been discussed way too many times in he past. Please bear with me.
When too many 2's use mode 3
when too many 3's use mode 2
are there any any other triggers for this.
When to go mode 1. When too many ones ?
what are your triggers?
Trigger to use RD1 - many repeats
likes the ZZ, TT and 212.
Exit trigger like any other system - lose 2 hands, wait/paper bet
lose 3-4 quit. Or look for the next opportunity.
Also I have combed through the site and not able to find the w2f rules for MDB+ and SS,ZZ variants of the same.
Could you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Thanks for your inputs. This is great forum and everybody is very helpful.
Having read through the NOR and now the MDB + and SAP methodologies.
Isnt MDB and SAP opposite of the same event. NOR+SAP is optimistic perspective (expect the same event are going to repeat as the previous shoe history). MDB+ is a pessimistic view (the same event can't repeat 5 times continuously)
Is it correct that we can't use both these systems in the same shoe and get caught on the wrong side doing so.
Let's say you are using s40 because of high 1's and 2's and less 3 or higher and suddenly the shoe changes. When does it warrant an abandon of NOR + SAP and move to MDB+ and vice versa.
Am I over complicating these stuffs? I want to KISS. ( keep it simple and sweet)
From previous posts of oz I think he favors the NOR + SAP
Way2Fast uses MDB+
Does these systems have a meeting point. When does 1 end and the other begin.
Thanks

Could you be kind enough to please share share your minimal strategy for a beginner to start making some money at the casinos. Consider each unit is a green chip.
what table selection criteria should we employ
strategy to play
entey trigger
exit trigger
Stop loss /stop gain
any other inputs
Oz, way2fast, Brad
u guys are way too awesome. your posts are very very informative. The concept of money management I believe is the key and you all seem to affirm that. If u stay alive by losing less in bad sections u can kill the good sections of the shoe.
As a beginner let me ask you this question.
Do we need to know all systems and use all systems simultaneously in the same shoe. I know each shoe has various sections that can utilize different strategies.
what would u categorize as systems that are must knows/nice to know
I want to prepare a cheat sheet to list systems/when to use/ when not to use/ entry trigger / exit trigger
do you think it's a good idea?
thanks
Wow OZ. This is one of the best posts I have seen in the forum explaining exactly the thought process and how and why. Thanks for helping out.
I am having trouble with Understanding RD1 / MC / SAP events
Can somebody explain with a shoe example so it becomes clear
Dear experts...
Can you please advice what are the best systems / techniques to be used in Mohegun sun.
I dont think MDB+ will make sense as its not preshuffled cards . Please correct me if i am wrong.
I have seen its a manual shuffle the casino performs in here.
Thanks
Going through lots of posts in the site..
There is a strong feeling that casinos are creating the biases but the type of shuffle used manual vs continous shuffle machines etc.
I am not very convinced that they can manipulate such things accurately for 8 card shoe.
What if an additional card is burned. the entire biases shifts from player to banker or vice versa.
How will they know if its a 2 card hand or a 3 card hard.
My question is how can they manipulate the first n hands to be steaky and the next few hands to be ZZ/TT or choppy.
Isn't it just a random event.
Awesome advices guys.. Thanks...You guys are really very knowledgable..
Brad.. are there advices of what are the triggers to shift from one system to another...
for Ex: say
start with S40.
Switch to OTB4L when you see __________________
or switch to TB4L when you see __________________
Go to SS when you see ________________________
etc..
Is this information available elsewhere in the forum?
Also is there a categorization of System likes and dislikes
For Ex:
S40 Likes - Choppy shoes ZZ,
Dislikes - TT
Hi experts,
i joined recently and downloaded the materials in the site.
I feel there are way too many systems/approaches /progressions and I am very confused which system to use/where to start
In one of the videos it says S40 and OTB4L are the only 2 systems that are required. In another thread I see S40M1 and 4D/5D. RD1 etc etc.
Can someone point me to the materials of RD1 and SAP? Also to other materials that are essential
Also please point me to the order in which these materials need to be consumed.
thank you in advance.
