  1. Ellis, can you please explain to me what the difference is between mode 2 and mode 3 when playing system F on a streak shoe?
  2. Ellis Shoe #5.pdf Ellis, I have been studying your play of shoe #5 posted above. And I have a few questions. 1) On play #29, the OR count is hovering over -9 and -10 over the last 6 plays. Why did you not change your betting system to OTB4L when you saw the direction that the OR count had taken? 2) At play #39, the OR count rose from -15 to -8 in 8 hands. Why did you not change your betting system to SD40 when you saw the direction that the OR count had taken? Thank you and I hope you are keeping well!
  3. Thank you MVSeahog. I will do lots of practice sheets first with all the systems and modes to observe the flow of each and the differences. I hope you are doing well and are being lucky!$$$
  4. Yes, you are correct. Im doing that now running shoes side by side with different modes and comparing the changes due to a different mode in the same shoe using the same system. It does show itself. Thank you for that! Do you make your mode selection based on winning or loosing your 3rd bet in a 1,2,3 progression or do you choose that mode based on a positive or negative OR count?
  5. Thank you for that information. Very helpful. One more question: When do you use mode 1 for SD40? The OR count will be positive (+) during SD40 and you are saying to then use mode 3. But when do you use the mode 1 or CHOP mode system as it too shall show a positive OR count?
  6. Good for you!! outstanding! Can you explain to me how to go about selecting the correct mode to play in? You look for a mode 3 OR count. What does that mean? What does a mode 3 OR count look like? Why are you not looking for a mode 2 or mode 1 situation to play? I am struggling with mode selection.
  7. Gman72, I am new to NOR. What is the +5 system I keep reading about on the forum? How does it differ from the basic NOR I am studying in my manual?
  8. Ellis, YOU ARE AMAZING!! thank you ever so much for taking the time and energy to play my score card for me. You are very sweet and I appreciate you. The lessons that I have learned from you in just 1 shoe are invaluable. I shall commit to more practice before I set foot in a casino!! The more I read your words of wisdom, the more I realize how much I don't know!! Big hug and much thanks.
  9. Good observation, I am going to run OTB4L and compare it to S40. I need to learn to notice those 2's and switch systems or just wait it out-patience, patience!!
  10. Thanks for that. I will run the shoe a dozen hands in and start with OTB4L and see if the outcome is different than S40.
  11. Would you have played with OTB4L or F and not S40 that I selected?
  12. GREAT ADVICE!! Thanks for all your keen observations. I will apply them all as I practice. I am keeping a note book of all the advice I get from all the forum members. I will practice much more before heading back to a live casino. Thank you again!!
  13. Thank you Wendel! That was great information you gave me! Do you think I should have selected F system or OTB4L before I started playing the shoe instead of the S40 that I used?
  14. Thank you so much for your advice! I will apply it as I practice and learn more.
  15. Hello everyone, here is my shoe from Casino Niagara in Niagara Falls, Canada. Can you please all chime in and tell me how YOU would have played this shoe compared to how I played it? I am new to NOR and need all the feed back you veterans can offer! Thank you for your help, greatlyey apprecaited!
  16. Hi, Im new to NOR. Can you please tell me in what kind of shoe do we use the TB4L system and in what mode? My maual only refers to OTB4L and NOT TB4L. Much thanks!
  17. Hi BaccDJ126, I studied your losing shoe and ran both SD40M2 and SD40M3 side by side and it taught me that yes, what you said is true. It would have paid you to play mode 3 instead of mode 2. But what I don't understand is what would have told you to play mode 3? What are the indications in that shoe? I am new and learning and I am having trouble seeing that point. Can you please help me? Thank you so much!
  18. Hi Ellis, I hope you are well. I am trying to learn how to decide which strategy to use once I observe the OR count. Please see the attached score card. It shows the same shoe played in all 3 strategies. I orginally thought the OR count was telling me to play OTB4L, but after also applying SD40 I can see that I would have been wrong. Can you talk me thru how to interpret the OR count I have submitted today? Thank you. By the way, my training manual is great and I am learning a lot!!
  19. Hi Im Tracey up here playing out of Niagara Falls Casino. Im new to NOR. I am currently learning my modes. Can you explain to me like Im a 5 year old what the difference it made to your losing shoe today between using S40M2 and S40M3? And Im sorry you lost today, but I know you will win on your next shoe!!
  20. You are all correct. The OR count is -4 and NOT -5. The mistake I made was starting the OR count on the hand where the first bet was placed instead of starting the OR count when the first hand was delt where there was NO bet yet wagered. Rookie mistake. But an important lesson for me, so thank you to all. This is the best forum on the net, I learn something every day about baccarat.
  21. Thank you for sharing. But I still do not understand what mode 1 means?? There is no mention of mode 1 in my training manual?? thank you for your patience.
  22. Hi Ellis, Im Tracey and Im new. Can you please explain to me what system 40 mode 1 is? All the notes in my manual only speak about modes 2 and 3. There is no mention of a mode 1. What is mode 1? Thank you and I hope you are keeping well.
  23. I calculate the final OR count as -5. Am I wrong? I certainly could be wrong as I am so new and know so little. Im still reading thru the manual and learning.
  24. Hi Mike, thank you for posting a loosing shoe. This helps new players like myself a lot. Why did you not fill in the OR column while you were playing?
