  1. First, thank you for taking your time to respond. I took your advice golfgirl007 and went on that site but my internet was bad and I was getting a really choppy image therefore I decided to buy myself 4 decks of cards (I already had four) and scramble and shuffle the cards at home and simulate my own games. This has helped me a lot, even though I am not betting any real money on those shoes, I still feel like I need to beat the shoe to which I do not currently have the results for just to prove to myself that I have learned how to play and manage certain situations. My rule of thumb right now is to let 3 scenarios play out on their own and then I jump in the shoe whether it be two 3iar followed by one 1iar. (ex: 3312, jump in after the confirmed 1iar.) My goal is to beat 8-9 out of every 10 shoes I simulate, if I can accomplish that then I think I will be ready for the casino. Ellis, thank you for your reply, right now I am still in the process of perfecting my play and understanding modes. Hopefully in the near future I can move ahead to playing the NOR+ systems and understanding the U1D2 way of playing. I do have a couple of questions, regarding the shoe. If I was to be playing this shoe starting from play 3 and played the S40M3 1,2,3 progression after I lose the 3rd bet on that 8iar would it be better to bet 1 unit OTR or 4Units OTR since I lost the previous 3Unit bet? and if I win that first unit OTR then I would bet another 1Unit OTR again and then win or lose that second bet OTR I would switch back to playing opposites right? Now lets say I bet 4 Units OTR and then I would lose that bet, would I then go back to betting opposites with a 1 Unit bet or a 5 Unit bet? On what scenarios do you go all the way up to your 4 or 5 Unit bets? -MMAB101
  2. Ok, first and foremost I became a member about 2 weeks ago and have since been reading the manual extensively and going through the forum as well. Anyways, about a week after joining the private forum, I felt I was ready to go to the battleground and test my guns per say (Go to the casino and gamble). Here is what happened. (My apologies in advance for only having one complete shoe) I got to the Casino at 6:30AM, only one EZ Bac table open with a shoe halfway through (keep in mind the shoes at this casino only go about 50 hands, not counting ties, weird I know) and decided to sit and study the tote board and after analyzing the shoe for about 20 minutes decide to play OTB4L. They do not do free hands, only first 5 hands can be free hands, rest of the hands you must bet and you cannot have a bet on both banker or player to satisfy this rule. Anyways, I won the first 6 bets I placed, which brought me to +6 units and then after a couple of losses I was at +1 and decided to stop playing this shoe with a profit in hand since I lost 3 bets in a row. By this time two other players had joined the table and I used them as a piggy ride to get me to the end of the shoe without betting. On the second shoe its where I got scolded. Shoe 2 B13113812 P1121113131311 B22317 My first mistake on this second shoe was assuming the cards were new, they were old cards from the earlier night, I did not know and forgot to ask. Anyways, the second shoe I played started very neutral. I started betting at play 8 because at play 7 the O/R count was at 0. Of course I started with OTB4L and lost my 8 units really fast and stopped playing this shoe by play 17 at -8 Units. Low and behold at the end of the shoe if I had played it OTB4L I would of lost big time. But if I had waited just a tad bit longer to start playing or if I had switched systems to F System I would of probably killed the shoe, it turned strong sided for the player then it became just runs following runs type of shoe. Of course everyone is a professional after seeing the cards and result on how to play - myself included. I was disappointed on myself for not having switched when I saw the O/R count drop. Regardless of, I moved on. New shoe started - 3rd Shoe- At this point they had just changed the cards on this table and the shoe started out with what I thought to be a Neutral shoe and started on play 6 with OTB4L system. Do not ask me how but I managed to lose -3 Units on this shoe, which was a good thing because I was at -6 at one point so I left this show as well when I thought I salvaged enough of my losses. The plays that I recorded go up to play 23 like this P232111141151. At that point they had opened another table and so I decided to move to this table. A little shot down on hope but not all was lost yet. At this 4th shoe since I knew it was new cards it started out choppy and jumped in with S40 system at play 3 and by play 15 I quit the shoe at +4 Units after reaching +7 and losing a 1 Unit bet and a 2 Unit bet. I do not have the full shoe on this one since I just got up just so I would not be tempted to jump back in this shoe since I had won on this one. Anyways I just roamed around the same table because I knew this table had new cards. When this second shoe at this newly open table started I jumped in at play 3 playing the S40 system and was I happy I did, i play conservatively and by play 31 I was up +9 Units and i decided to just leave the casino with a +3 Unit profit as silly as it may seem. To me winning something was more important than winning a lot at that point after losing 10 Units rather fast. The part of the shoe that I recorded on this one goes like this B111212141141 B111112121 At the end of the day I still felt like a rookie. Here is why, I understand the systems and how to play them, I'm just very conservative when it comes to betting, Mode selection im still working on. I tend to be very cautious when i lose my 2 bets in a row for the first time on every show and i usually bet 1 Unit to see what mode the shoe shows i should be playing or to see if my Mode selection is right. Therefore i play a progression within a progression when I make bets OTR after exhausting my 2 bets on M2 or 3 bets on M3. I would appreciate some input on Mode selection for tables that you do not know the history of. Any Tips on when to jump into a shoe? Any advice on when you usually switch modes in between shoes? Money management tips? Do you quit a shoe or pull through when you are up and lose 4 bets in a row? Anything really would help, Im trying to become the best Bac player I can be and aside from practice at the casino, tips from seasoned players would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for reading this far and for taking your time to respond if you do. MMA-Bac101
