System 40 is a good system when you have an strong opposites shoe. There will be times where it is needed but what happens when you come across a shoe that is biased towards a streak? What you should be doing is learning System 40, TB4L, OTbL, and SS systems. Once you learn those, learn how to utilise the SAP count to figure out which system would be most profitable in that particular shoe.
