  1. Thanks to Oz. Not much Bac for me. Mostly downtown Vegas, so not many options.
  2. Brad said - “The fact that existing members still get access to all except Premium is fair too “ I don’t believe that is true. I joined right before Elvis, I mean Ellis, left the building. Yes, he is stuck in his ways and full of BS sometimes. But he was active and contributed a lot. I paid the $600 for lifetime (all but the MDB). Then things changed, more limited access and much less content. Here, I have to say that the time and interest by ME has declined for various reasons. That’s on me and not BCT. Now I have access to the Public forums and only “Members Only Baccarat Forum.” The old BCT had more content available to me. When I joined, BCT seemed much more active, as was I. Those two fed off each other - for me at least. Anyways, heading to Vegas tomorrow. Stay downtown and will be at Red Rock. Hope to play some bac and have some fun! Thanks to those that do contribute here. Again, I have less time and therefore interest at this cycle of my life. Maybe things will pick up again. Good luck to all.
  3. Good Luck to you. I get to Louisville a few times a year, I'm in the northern part of Ind. Maybe I'll see you there. I think they done a good job of fixing up the area - some new sports areas, UofL, Churchill, AAA Baseball.
  4. They built a shopping / eating area and hotel on land. It's all connected thru hallways and moving sidewalks, but the gambling is on the original Boat. I'd call it a mini, mini Caesars...........that's connected to a Boat. The spread seemed to be like other Indiana casinos $10-$5000.
  5. In April I played at the Horseshoe across the River from Louisville. Only had one $10 table open on a Saturday afternoon. They may have had two more tables. Only played for half an hour, caught a ten in row chop for a quick $500 and ran off the boat. It's prob 20 min from downtown Louisville. Three or four story "Boat" on the Ohio River that doesn't move. Druck
  6. I finally got a chance to play recently at the Blue Chip. Did OK with S40 on a new shoe and was down a little at the end of an OTB4L looking shoe that changed at the very end. Life should be slowing down some now and I am hoping to get to play more soon. Maybe we could meet up somewhere between Joliet and Mich City. Looks like the Forum is changing. I can't seem to find some of the old posts / Forum Folders. Druck
  7. I've been reading from the "outside" for a few months and lots of stuff on the "inside" since joining last month. Lots and lots of crap to sift thru all the threads, but most of it seems to be summed up by Ellis here. Thank you!!! I still play a few practice shoes a day and have only gotten to the casino a couple times (about 3 shoes worth and a few bucks ahead total). Two things - 1 - I've read thru half of the 60 pages of the NOR+ thread. Is that more or less the leading up to Million Dollar Bac? The additions to OTB4L seem insightful. 2 - It seems that NOR can be simply summed by what Ellis has stated here and don't play tough shoes. Call me Mr. Obvious. I think some people browsing on the outside could figure out how to use NOR and win on the easy shoes. For me, the discipline of getting myself up from the table on tough shoes is still a work in progress. The thing that's makes this even harder is not having many choices of places to play in Hoosier land (table selection). When I can get to the casino, I want to PLAY! Anybody else here play in Northern Indiana? Or down near Tampa? I'm heading down there later this month and was going to try the Hard Rock. Druck
  8. From Ellis - "I'm guessing about 99% of the forum is repetition leaving about 1% actual meat." There's a little more meat on the bone than that, but it takes lots and lots of effort to get to the good stuff. And I'm sure that Ellis has answered most questions multiple times. I think that a book or more detailed manual would be great for us beginers. Worth the price for new players and this would add to BCT's bottom line. The forum would still be needed for the networking that provides much quicker responses. BCT is a business and would better serve its customers if had more organization (and make more money). 9. Well, I finally joined NOR. Lots of info to digest. But when I looked at a couple of my recent shoes where I lost 10 and 8 units each, I see now that I would have WON 8 units on each if I just stuck with what NOR teaches. Now I need to practice more and get the discipline needed to play by the NOR rules to win regularly. This will make it easier to increase unit size. Don't need to win 50 units per shoe. 8 Units at $25 - $50 - $100 makes the effort to get to the casino well worth it!!!!
  10. Thanks for the ideas. I will reach out to McVince. Practicing on-line will at least be good practice for bet placement. I need that. I do a bad job of picking one system then things change briefly only to return to what it was at start. By the end it's too late and I've dug the hole deeper. I don't really have a way of setting up a table at home, too much action around the house. Not practical. The closest casino has only one table, but the minimum is $5 (except Fri and Sat nights). I could get there and write down a shoe or two from the back and then play a little with a 1,2 progression. That would be good to practice disciple and not cost much. Make the 2 hours in the car worth it.
  11. I will make time to get to casino to practice some. Can't do it too much, it's a hour drive one-way. I understand that the RNG are a different beast. Also, I'll try to print out some of the shoes posted, re-write them down blank and play those. I wont play for real money on-line, but it seems that some of the free play games should be realistic. Yes, No? I've played over 150 shoes on-line and recorded about half of those. They seem to be mostly easy or very difficult. Good practice to learn how to "run like hell" away from the table.
  12. I've been using the baccarat game on Wizard of Vegas mostly and little on Pinnacle. Are these sites good / realistic? Any other good places the practice at? Thanks Druck
  13. trbfla - Keith's girls and squirrels............there has to be some good punchline in that. Ha ha ha Looking forward to seeing things on the inside, I know that I'm not smart enough to only use the freebies here. I just played a few shoes online for fun. First one was a "gimme" for OTB4L - got up 88 units with 345 progression. The next 4 totaled losses more than 88. Lots to learn.
  14. Mr Davis - 345 progression with $5 chips.........I like it!!!! Easy math and the learning mistakes won't kill the bankroll. This will make getting to the casino more often doable. I will get a membership by mid-May. Stupid is not good, looking forward to learning and winning for the long run. Thank you for your time, Druck
