McVince, not only are you rude an arrogant, you write like someone who while saying how much they do "for nothing" still wish to tell anyone who will listen about how much you are doing for nothing. And your comment about you being in a similar situation to myself is truly comical. I have found, especially over the last 8yrs or so to never presume I know what someone else is going through. No I do not have chip on my shoulder in fact having met people in much worse positions then me, I have actually reflected on how lucky I actually am. And you finish by boldly declaring that if I want a fight than you are the man lol. Sadly McVince,, should I want to fight, I am confident that nothing you could throw at me would make a solitary mark But if it makes you feel superior,  I will bow down and accept that scary McVince is on the job and I must cease any further comments. God help me.

Way2fast, you question why I would be defending someone who paid for membership, got what he wanted and then left. And why I was reading posts from the public forum to make my decision. I would have thought that before joining the paid for membership that reading posts on the public forum would have been a positively sensible thing to do. I do understand the internet has some dubious characters but does that mean I should have just stayed away because of that? And I don't know the OP nor do I wish to fight anyone's battles. The whole point of my post was regarding the responses that were given to someone asking a simple question. That is all. All of the responses accusing me of starting a fight miss that basic point. If he was doing the wrong thing or had done the wrong thing then why not let Keith know and let him deal with it. But apparently that's not the way it works on here and those deemed worthy are the ones who reply in a fashion I found rude but they find perfectly acceptable.

And Ozscouser1, apparently you were going to assist me sometime when I was last on here. I don't reject this as while I don't recall our communications, my memory is so full of holes I struggle to remember what I had for lunch. You say you dodged a bullet and you may well be right. Looking back I should not have even joined as I was not in a position to provide the attention to make a success of baccarat or much else for that matter. But I should have at least let you know I was heading off and for that I do apologise. You say because of my age and not wishing to put up with any BS means I have a chip on my shoulder. That is actually miles from accurate, as I've said, meeting many people with life defining, some would say destroying, injuries. opens ones mind to living life knowing you could be so much worse off and be grateful for what you have. My no BS comment was my way of saying that I don't pander to anyone, especially when it comes to matters that in the long run are of little importance. So the barrage of negative comments I received after reading what I believed were unfair posts to someone asking a question is an example. What you see is what you get from me.  I call it as I see it. You guys are probably the same. But the difference in this situation is that you are wrong. The OP apparently did the wrong thing by the club and that is why you were wrote rude comments to him when he asked his question. But that's not the point. Myself, and anyone else doing what I was doing and just browsing through some threads see this exchange and make a judgment based on what they have read. Not what the OP may have done or didn't do. On that exchange, and in that exchange you guys were out of line. Or out of line if you expect that people will want to join the club after reading those comment. Most I assume would have the sense to just leave and not leave a comment, wish I had tried that.

And Keith as always has a much better way with words than any of us and I understand and appreciate what you wrote. It is not my club and these guys are long term members and you are all very protective of that.

I wish no further dialogue about this, as I said, life is too short for this type of back and forth. I wish I had kept my original comment to myself and just exited the site as will do now. I wish you all continued success and well being.

  2. I didn't overlook anything, you seem to have overlooked completely the reply's this guy received from a simple question.

Is what he did illegal in anyway or improper in anyway? If the membership payment system is flawed then that something for Keith to address I guess. But as it stands he did nothing wrong and was simply asking a question.

It is not really about the OP of this thread or even the question he asked. It is the reaction and posts from yourself and others that is surprising to me.

I'm in my 50's now and don't put up with BS anymore, life's too short. If you want membership to grow than you show people a certain amount of respect. This goes for both sides. But when you post comments like the ones on this thread, irrespective of what you may have thought of the guys motives, you not only send him packing but also those who were considering joining.

I have no wish to join a club or whatever where there is a hierarchy that decides whether or not a question is deemed worthy and if not send forth rude and uncalled for responses.

From the pleasant and informative emails I've had with Keith I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be all that impressed either. I may be wrong, but either way it's not for me.

And Ozcouser your last words say it perfectly. "I don't care much either way". That is blatantly clear.

  3. I have had some email discussions with Keith regarding joining, or rather re-joining, lately and I am still considering what to do. I became a member a number of years ago but various things I had happen in my life gave me no time for baccarat or much else for that matter.

I am a disabled pensioner and have only ever wanted to try and make a small amount each week or so to supplement my pension.

So I logged in today to just see what was being said on the public forum. And I have to say I was very unimpressed. Reading through this thread started by Kino and the responses were bordering on being just plain rude. All he was asking was whether other amateur players posted about how they were doing. He wasn't asking for a "free ride" or as one poster put it "this is not welfare, you should not expect to extract information for free". Wtf? This has nothing to do with what the OP was asking about and is just plain rude, pure and simple.

It is suggested from the paying members that this public forum should be shut down. I would have disagreed as it is a good place to find out what is happening and assist those interested in paid membership to make a decision.

But judging by the responses to one of the very first threads I opened, maybe it is a good idea if Keith shut it down. Because being a new guy looking at paying for the full membership, the sort of responses from a guy asking just a simple question is very off putting to say the least.

And if that is the attitude shown to such a benign question, why would anyone think it would be any different in the paid area?

  4. Hi Brad, thanks for the words of confidence. What my biggest obstacle my be is the fact that being a paraplegic I am not able to get around too much nowadays so online play is pretty much my only source of play.

I know there has been a lot of discussion how different casino's shuffle the cards and when etc, so was just wondering what you or others thought of the online games and whether they would still be suitable to win at consistently.

    Cheers

  5. Kevin I appreciate you taking the time to write such valuable advice. I have seen on other threads (not this site) where people have taken the time to help out and aren't even given the courtesy of a reply.

Health issues have stalled my progress and the ability to purchase the best system for me, but I am not looking for sympathy or trying to make excuses, if I want it badly enough I will get there.

You and others have been extremely generous with your time and genuine desire to help others achieve the rare gift of making money from a casino game.

I can see how much there is to it, but I look forward to learning even it if takes this old fella a bit longer than others.

Thanks again to Kevin, Brad and others.

  6. Hello

I have just received an invitation to the Intro level seminar covering the basics of NOR, and demonstrations on why it works.

But on the registration page, and this is probably one of my many silly questions, it has "BTC ID"? I have checked my profile etc but can't find that ID.

Could someone please tell me where I might be able to find that, it would be much appreciated as I would love to join the seminar.

    Thank you

  7. Thank you Kevin I will save this page for when I know a tad more about what the hell is going on lol. That is not making a joke about what you guys do, it is about how much I have to learn so I eventually might figure out how this game is played properly.

Amazing to think those 29.95 systems weren't giving me the full story :)

But I for one like a challenge, and when it's something you enjoy (although I know a number of you have said you actually don't particularly like baccarat) it makes it that much easier. And as for enjoying it, it doesn't really matter as over time it just becomes a means to an end. If you get sick of it, well it still beats the 9-5 and peak hour traffic I believe (not that I've had to do that for a long time).

A few hours in the casino or in front of your computer sure beats the hell out of a job you hate and a boss you would like to, well a boss you don't get on well with!

    Thanks again Kevin

  8. Thank you BRAD (nice of you not to mention my inability to get your four letter name correct)

Wise words and I appreciate your offering of assistance when I eventually become a member. It really does give you confidence being able to correspond with people who have been through the ups and downs of this and are happy to pass that experience on to those less experienced.

    Cheers

  9. Hi Brian (fellow Aussie), I have been reading all the posts regarding baccarat with a lot of interest. It is obvious as I have said before that you can't just purchase one of the systems and then you're set to start making money.

But I just wondered when I save the money (when not if, I'm determined) do you think I would be better off purchasing MDB or Nor as my starting point.

I know it's probably not any easy question to answer and I only ask it as I am very enthusiastic about becoming a member, even though it will still be a bit of a wait.

    Just interested in your thoughts.

    Cheers

  10. Yep Brad and I don't think a casino free planet will happen in our lifetime

And blackjack, I used to play quite a bit of roulette online with varied success, but Dublinbet was my pick as withdrawals were exceptionally fast compared to some and never had one issue with them. Mind you I was/am pretty small time, but I certainly couldn't fault them.
