Kevin is a genius! I tend not to have a lot to say about playing baccarat because I wasn't really looking to learn to play it in the traditional sense...without going into all of the details I was looking to do something that was said to be technically impossible, as I know that many have tried to do what I was attempting to, and had failed. For years it bugged me that there must be a way based on mathematics rather than simply recouping losses, with the inevitable results. Mathematics is a pretty big field though, and where to start? Another forum *ahem* didn't give me the answers I was looking for, despite being run by a math professor with a 160 IQ. Then I checked out Kevin's Masterclass methodology...okay...I thought to myself...sounds interesting. I wonder if I can do anything with this... I figured that breaking down events as per Kevin's findings, and then making a recurring pattern based on the mathematics relating to the whole would be an interesting way to look at things. Guess what??? It appears to be working rather well. The thing is, I've seen new members on you-know-where trashing BTC for being allegedly dumb enough to give out the rules to their paid content "systems" on the public forum, but the point is that what the free members aren't getting is that priceless exchange of ideas, without which the basic theory isn't an awful lot of use. Did I say that Kevin is a genius? BJH.

Thanks for the recommendation, Hellboy. Poor ECD...A 160 IQ doesn't mean he has social skills or common sense, merely that he's good at figuring out a certain type of logic problem. It's a shame that he doesn't seem to have any real friends who could maybe try and get it into his skull that all he is doing by posting all this faux "I'm a victim of you meanies" BS is making himself look a laughing stock. He is instead surrounded by lap-dogs, and even seems to be recruiting more to his little kennel. He seems unable to even make a post on his site without spewing out the kind of brainwashing sermons that would be worthy of a tv evangelist. He is gambling's equivalent to the Bakkers - remember them?.. from the 80's? I recall Jim ended up being sentenced to 45 years for accounting fraud and conspiracy...just send me all your money and you'll be saved...hallelujah...and that Barbie-doll wife of his Tammy-Faye was doing all the sentimental stuff on the PTL (Praise the Lord) tv network shows whilst fluttering those spider eyelashes...it was all just a blatant scam, yet millions got suckered in by his brainwashing and similar psychological techniques focussing on people's fears as they wanted to believe they would be saved, god would love them and treat them nicely etc. The Phil Collins song "Jesus he knows me" was basically making fun of the whole circus, and the video is hilarious as it's just so true. The thing is that people want to believe, and that makes them vulnerable. Ellis's sentimental look at the "old days" is either to get back on your Christmas card list, or it's to make himself look the victim and get new potential recruits who are making up their minds whether to choose CFC or BTC to choose him...Mr Nice Guy...while making BTC seem like a muddle of clueless guessers hopelessly cast adrift without their spiritual "Leader", the Great Man himself. P.S. looking at his avatar I think we can see where the partially-clothed thing came from. What is it with these guys that they think the naked upper torso is somehow a good or macho look? As someone who's seen both sides of the CFC versus BTC "who is better" debate... (Disclaimer: I may be talking total c**p as a newbie, but it's how things strike me...) Ellis teaches purely mechanical systems, they are indeed vulnerable to a casino or whatever wising up, and pre-determining a card order. There are only a finite number of systems and permutations out there, so sooner or later you will be destroyed by the negative progression that is taught with it. You may think you are winning and a pro gambler by having all kinds of fancy money management in place (like JMoney45) , but if you cannot turn a profit flat betting then it's not a matter of "if", but "when" you lose your bankroll. BTC players are smart, and realise there is no quick and painless way to do this gambling thing. They focus on interpreting the shoe, and acting on what it's telling them (or, in CFC-speak, they "guess"). To use an analogy of foreign languages...Rather than using a phrase book or tapping their question/query into google translate, they instead seek to learn the language of the game and to understand it. Look upon it as a living thing that reacts, rather than just being an inanimate game of chance that can be beaten by the pure force of NP's. As for the poster you are talking about, maybe he is merely asking rhetorical questions as his BS radar has imploded, and for the sheer hell of seeing what answers he will get (whilst probably expecting to get none, or none that aren't yet more BS). Answers may not be coming anytime soon as apparently ECD's partner is in hospital. No sarcasm or other implied, merely a statement of fact...

I like Brad's idea; it's overwhelming for newbies to read so much information on the various reasonings and interpretations from different members in addition to trying to learn the actual "bones" of the various methods of play. Agree with Pando in that we may want to focus on how particular players work without the distractions of having to filter out what's being added into the mix by others.
