  1. @kachatz1, Myself, and @Railrabbit played today here in Vegas and we each won on average about 6 units each (2 shoes played) One shoe at Red Rock Casino and the other shoe at the Rampart Casino.
  2. Should PB be turned on or off for the derived recommendations dashboard?
  3. I uninstalled the old version and installed the latest version with the derived recommendations and it seems to be working properly. Looking forward to the seminar to learn how to use these derived recommenations properly.
  4. Correct, I started following him before I heard about the BTC.
  5. Thank you CanadaBacc and Keith, I just saw the video and added Horizontal/Vertical play to my playbook.
  6. That quote comes from a professional Baccarat player named Jason Sample.
  7. Win 2 to 3 units per session then leave the table. A lot of people look for that big win. You might win big sometimes, but you cannot win big consistently. " It is better to win a little a lot, than a lot a little " Keep track of your play and you will see that those small unit wins add up. As you accumulate units, increase your unit size, and watch the money add up too. Try to think of units and not the money ( I know it's hard to do but just do it, I have a hard time before I increase my unit size ). 2 units of $25 is $50, 2 units of $200 is $400!
  8. I guess I will start the superstitions. When I win a bet, I make sure that my next bet is that same unit that I won the bet before. I have a couple sport watches and a couple dress watches. I always wear the same dress watch when I go to the casino. I always wear the same baseball cap when I go to the casino. And I always walk the same path to the tables.
  9. I have always bought in for $500 at the table, even when my unit size was $10. It's just a habit, and I am superstitious. I don't want to change anything. When I was betting $10 units I was betting a negative progression and needed the units.
  10. My bankroll is over 150 units, my buy in at the table is 10 units ($500), more than enough to cover a 3 unit loss. If I lose my first bet I will bet 1/2 units until I get back to even, then I play full units again.
  11. My opinion on flat betting. When I started playing in 2020 I used a negative progression. I did win and I did lose sessions. When I lost I went deep in a hole. I accepted that, and when I won, I still had a stop limit. Like the stop loss. I did keep accurate records on my play. After 6 months of play I was down for the year. I didn't like going into a big hole when I lost. It bothered me that I had to win a lot to make up for that loss. In 2021 I decided to try flat betting following @kachatz1 advice. I like NOT going deep in a hole when I lose my first few bets and I still have a stop win of 3 units with the exception of still playing if I am on a run or a chop (zig zag). This year isn't over yet but I am up and I am up 62 units, and that includes a bad losing streak a few months ago. I am a broken record I say it all the time......Keep accurate records of your play! Start at $10 units, as you get better than up your unit size as your records prove that you can win flat betting. I started at $10 units, then went to $25 units and now I am at $50 units. I feel comfortable because I know if I lose my first 3 bets the most I can lose in any given session is $150. I have played side by side with @kachatz1 and he has seen my earlier play at $25 units and the last time we were together I was betting $50 units. At some point I will feel comfortable to play $100 units with an ultimate goal of playing $500 units in the future. At $500 units all I would need is to be up 1 unit to make $500. Now think about this, go back and check your score sheets, have you ever been up 1 or 2 units, but lost the session? Well if you played bigger units, (doesn't have to be $500 units) once you get to a +1 or +2 win,you stop playing, that takes discipline. It's hard to stop playing when you are winning, but I do it and I am up 62 units for the year flat betting, and I didn't start playing until I was vaccinated which was the middle of April. You might think 62 units is not a lot of units, but If I was betting $500 units? You do the math. Keep accurate records and flat betting is the way to go.
  12. I too would like to thank @CANADABACC and @Keith Smith for the kind words spoken about me in this video. I am looking forward to meeting @CANADABACC and everyone else on this forum sometime in late December here in Vegas. I would also like to add that I started playing baccarat in 2020 and had NO KNOWLEDGE of the game at all. I started learning out of boredom...lol. When covid-19 hit and we were locked in for 3 straight months I wanted to learn a table game knowing full well that slot machines are not beatable, it is just an algorithm and you have to be the lucky person at the machine when it decides to give back some big payouts. No offense to anyone, but a monkey can play a slot machine and win or lose. To play baccarat you have to learn the game and learn about the variance of a 50/50 game. The BTC and all it's members taught me this. @kachatz1 put out the 10 best bets and @CANADABACCput out a couple of videos on Naturals and Ties. I try to use this information in my decision making and only trying to win 2 or 3 units a session, and I will walk with 1 unit if I determine that it's not going my way. I have increased my unit size as I become a more consistent player. I don't give into what the casino wants me to do. I won't sit at the table a long time (which means I will give back what I win) and I refuse to be greedy, that's what the casino wants, and it is human nature to be greedy. Who stops playing when you are winning??? I do, it guarantee's I walk out the door with more money than what I walked in with. There is always another day to play. And believe me I have made mistakes over the past year while I was learning, I still do, but I try to learn from my mistakes and move on. The Baccarat Mindset states "without some failure you can't learn what's needed to achieve a greater success." That statement is so true. Use your mistake as a learning experience.
