gablaw
This shoe at BPH scored +47 from play 9 with RD straight through Wish I played it! What happened to chop?B33111111161B3112215221P331114331P39212I tried to post it using Hog's explanation-couldn't get it in my album. I could email it to you if you give me your address.I started on P at play 9 because it won 4 of the last 5. I used RD because I had seen the whole shoe already. Also, Mark said he usually starts with RD, didn't want to use OTB4l because of possible ZZ, 40 didn't look so hot (although it got hot). I suppose F2 could've been a choice starting on P but the result would be the same, going to RD after the P run from play 14-19.
gablaw
I've started getting the following message after not betting (6 hands this time) "You have been kicked out of the game." Not very cordial!
nizm0racer
Gablaw,I spoke with the live casino managers and they told me since there's so many people playing there from all over the world that their bandwidth gets eaten up from players playing fun and real play. Probably mainly from the FUN players. So if you don't post a bet down w/in 5 hands or so then you get kicked out to make space for a playing player. gablaw
That's what I figured, but they could be a little nicer to their customers, maybe a "sorry" in there somewhere.
TomM
That's what I figured, but they could be a little nicer to their customers, maybe a "sorry" in there somewhere.Yeah Guys, I just experienced the "you've been kicked out of this shoe flag a few minutes ago." As a preface let me say that over the last few days I have been playing at various times of the day to kind of get a feel for the shoes in different shifts but I guess 3 days ago I had like a $7500.00 dollar balance in my fun account and is my habit I usually have a few drinks at that point and try to play seat of the pants stuff until I wipe out my balance. I have always figured it is just good policy to not even run up a humongous score in fun mode. I've always done this at Dublinbet also. I just figured it was the smart thing to do. However I was playing late Weds day night this week and the nickel table froze up so I flipped over to the $500.00 minimum table and played fun mode and added several thousand to my account playing my conservative style. It works real well in tables with high minimums but low maximums (probably "trap tables" ) for some high stake players. But I was just screwing around and was kind of wondering how many people would actually be playing a $500.00 minimum table on a casino site that has a hard time keeping a signal going. So just for practice over the last 3 days whenever the nickel table gets on my nerves I flip over to the $500. 00 table and it is always running faster than the nickel table. So being digitally challenged I just figure they want to keep their big players happy so they adjust their system to add more bandwidth to the high stakes table. I like to play a little faster and being that their high stakes table runs quicker I was practicing playing $500.00 stakes and found four or the five shoes I have played there in the last 72 hours to be very productive with Maverick. Only one of the shoes I faced had a weird 1's signature and that shoe proved to be a pain in the ass but I played it anyway (knowing better) and still only lost a couple units on that one. The other four shoes were nice and trendy and very easy to win with Maverick. Probably any progression would have done well but I was using the conservative progression that I outlined in the last month or so in the M&M thread. In any case over the last three shoes I upped my fun account 23 grand. It almost seems like these shoes are slipping back to the "old" days there (prior to the short shoes) . But tonight when I hit a particularly trendy shoe and added like 11 grand to my account on the one streaky shoe I figure this is pretty good deal. Anyway I was watching the tube during the shuffle and it was one of those times where they "forget" to erase the board and being I was just practicing doing the tracking in my head I didn't have a score card to refer back to tell me where the new shoe began. It was just tagging onto the end of the prior shoe and I saw it was going OT so was about to make my starter bet and up popped that “your getting kicked out of this shoe” bit so not knowing what to make of that I headed over to the nickel table and yeah it was crawling along but it started with a couple banks and I started betting after the next player (fun mode) because I have been dealing with a lot of shit today and did not think I should be playing for money. Anyway I forgot I was on the nickel table and was betting table max and player went six in a row with me betting table maximum so I thought I would head over here before I got kicked off that table too and I see the prior posts regarding this new flag. I agree it is a little crude to say the least but maybe something was lost in translation. In any case I am glad it wasn't directed at me personally.P.S. Another observation: On one of the days I was practicing on the $500.00 table the signal was lost in the middle of a shoe. I was wondering how people playing a $500.00 min would react to having a game drop out like that. I think the other table was up but I think I would personally go to a brick and mortor casino for any high stakes activity even if it meant inferior playing conditions. Obviously some people don't have a problem with it or they would have knocked that minimum down $100.00 by now. They definately need more bandwidth to run these live games. From what I read on the sport forums they just need more high quality digital infrastructure in Costa Rica. Hopefully they will get some soon. MVSeahog
Yeah Guys, I just experienced the "you've been kicked out of this shoe flag a few minutes ago." I agree it is a little crude to say the least but maybe something was lost in translation. In any case I am glad it wasn't directed at me personally.Yep, I'll get that when I'm just sitting there, cooling my heels and writing down the rest of the shoe after leaving with that shoe's wins. The first time I saw it, I did freak out just a little, but it's just a generic "Hit the road, buddy" type of message for those who aren't putting any money down. Now I'll finish the shoe, leave the table and come back in 15 minutes or so to catch the end of the shoe (one last teaser bet after the joker) and copy down the rest of the hands.MVS Quote What's an MVSeahog? TomM
Man, Bph is having problems keeping anything going today. I started out playing baccarat and that went down, moved over to roulette too try playing a little Maverick on roulette and that went down. A few minutes ago the only live game still running was Blackjack. I had never tried it but it was going nowhere for me and is very slow too. It was the first time I saw a dealer keep a conversation going with someone off camera. I wonder if the dealers are getting frustrated with the down time. MVSeahog
Man, Bph is having problems keeping anything going today.Yep, I got that too.Could only play about 8 hands in the shoe before I had to pull the plug on it. Incredibly slow, bets coming out after the cards (payouts were correct) but just way too slow to play.I came back over an hour later and they were still in the same shoe!!It was by then, hand 62 and looked ripe to jump in for the last few hands. Picked a quick +3 out of the last 5 hands!Only took slightly less than forever to run that whole shoe this afternoon. TomM
Bph continues to have trouble. I can sometimes get on the $500.00 bac table, but this whole weekend and into this Monday morning I have been unable to penetrate the $5.00 table. Keep getting that box that says socket connection failed. Getting to be a real PITA.
gablaw
Current game 18 6 0 0 14 ZZ to start! But bet clock is screwed up again and won't take my bets. HMMMM?Ok after awhile. gablaw
Short shoes again. Having problems at BPH. How come they never reject my losing bets? I wonder how real time the game is. Watching a shuffle, the picture cut to the cards all in the shoe. Would've taken a least a minute.
MVSeahog
OK, I think I've just solved a problem we've all been seeing at BPH.I was monitoring the end of a game just now, around hand 55 or so, and the "server needed to be reset" when everything kind of froze up. I got a nice message saying the game was being reset, etc.I came back in just as they were restarting the game and although they were still at hand 50 something, the tote board was now clean and the next decision became the first one on the board! If something like this happens very early in the shoe and you come in a little late, everything will look normal except the shoe may seem to end around hand 55 or 60!This might explain a few of odd "short shoes" but not all of them especially the ones we play all the way from the start.MVS Quote What's an MVSeahog? Users ECD Posted July 21, 2010 Users Report Share Posted July 21, 2010 You guys are still posting some weirdly choppy shoes from BPH. How often are they doing a wash these days and under what circumstances? I'm wondering if their wash is a good signal to go to a chop system like system 40 and maybe raise the stakes??? MVSeahog
They've been wildly choppy for sure with the occasional 4 or 5 tossed in just to keep you on your toes.MVS Quote What's an MVSeahog?

MVSeahog
No, not washing every shoe. Most shoes just get a full 8 deck shuffle, then a "canasta" hand shuffle of each 8 pack and then finally a riff when they get put together for the shoe.MVS (at least for the last two weeks that I've watched) Quote What's an MVSeahog? John12345
ooh ok. I was hoping you had some special trick to get into the games. they must not be running a shoe now. it says We'll be right back. Maybe they got wiped out because of all of those chops. I played a shoe today that was sort of the opposite. It only had a few 1's and mostly 4+'s.
