You're right Ellis, I should have given more explanation for my bet and prog thoughts. I had considered the 234 earlier if Bank had gone just once since at that point I had 6 winning first bets and one second winning bet. The start of the Bank run, causing me two losses iar has made me hold back until I see a strong first bet win rate again.

My next bet...1 on B. Currently +6.

Good work Bill, esp. for this shoe! Just goes to show you we can often win the toughest of shoes by staying conservative and following the NOR principles. But in a casino we are usually money ahead to just find a better table.

Well, all good things must come to an end...Player comes out on top P9 B4

Leaves us P11541 in second column...here I am back down to +4 for the 4th time in the shoe! I Know I should just stop now, and I decide given limited table selection To just sit out next few hands...I DID record all hands do I will show you what happened up through hand 40, end of 2nd column, and will resume from there...

From the beginning:

PP BBBB P B P B PPP B PP B PP B

P B PPPPP BBBB PP B PP B P BB

So seems to me this says F.O.L.L.O.W. And I therefore start betting again At top of column 3 at hand 41 with one unit on the Banker...

OK - time to enter the shoe. It is not a great shoe but

maybe we can make a few units with NOR + SAP.

Current SAP count is 12-10-4-12. So 3's are LC, 1's and

2's are high. This tells me to play S40 with 3's LC.

Since we have BB, I will bet P because 2's usually do

not go to 3. Should B win, I will stay OTR because 3's

usually go to 4. If P wins I go to B because of S40

(bet opp). So my bet is 1 unit on P.

You're on the money, Money. I counted the first 2 by mistake.

I'm sticking with my bet, however. I actually would have gotten

into this shoe when the bank run ended. I was waiting for that,

but Kat never gave me the chance. So my bets would have been

B (lose 1) B (win 2) P (win 1) B (lose 1) B (win 2) P (win 1)

B (win 1) P (Lose 1) P (2 units, waiting for result). I would be

+4 at this point. Any shoe full of 1's and 2's should be a big

winner for S40. Then SAP can guide us when it goes beyond 2.

Thanks for keeping me honest!

Paul

Well, the shoe has been posted up for several hands. My approach would have been to continue with F series, F2 on B and F3 on P (3-2's and 1-3 at this point on the player side, hand 33). It turns out this would carry me through the 2's on P and I arrive at the end of 40 hands with +8...and a 1 bet on B. The temptation is to switch to S40 due to the 1's and 2's coming out, but I will stay with F series with a max draw down at this point of 3 units.

The SAP count tells me it is an S40 shoe. The runs

will occur and we have to ride them out or perhaps

take advantage of them. As of now I will continue

to bet that 2's stay 2's and 3's go to 4's. If it goes

to 4 I will stay OTR.

Lots of good dialogue S40, F,etc

Well Banker comes out B8 P0, so now 3 B's in a row.

Top of Column 3 now at B1 ... I will stay on Bank for another hand since we have just hab the 3 banks....

2 on B. I'm +8...if I lose, I'm out at +6. We're on 3rd street and the shoe is still meandering around. Like I said, I'll get out with a small win if I lose this bet.

Bill

3rd street...seems like every city has one...too bad we could not all find ourselves on Easy Street

Well, stick around a little longer...Banker wins B9 P7, so I am still in F mode on Bank and will wager another 2 units...Have come this far...

Nothing seems way out of whack...O/R, P/B, SAP, all basically trending pretty close to their "NORM" for this shoe...some anomalies, but nothing real significant seems to me...Can this shoe be beaten? ( well, they all can be beaten, and they all can beat you...just depends on how well you read the tea leaves, apply NOR, and of course some luck and MM for good measure always seems to help...)I look over at the other two tote boards at tables 2 and 3, and see pretty much the same going on...they are both full and SRO now, so i decide to stay put and ride this out

So far:

PP BBBB P B P B PPP B PP B PP B P B PPPPP BBBB PP B PP B P BBB P B

Careful Paul, P won the last hand. There are only 3 B's iar, then 1 P. I'm hoping Ellis will make some comments on this shoe. Both Paul and I have chosen different systems from NOR and are showing how 2 of the 3 systems can win on a shoe, at least at this point. Maybe I should continue playing the shoe to see haw 2 different systems can handle the same shoe.....

Bank comes through again...

I agree with Bill that many times, the OVERLAY OF 2 SYSTEMS may point to the best one, but in some cases it may be very close.

While at the casino ( real time) I decided this shoe to stay on Bank for next play 1 Unit, just playing Banker F...I win I am up to ten units, lose I am down to 8 units....
