Possible simplification for 4D...

Recommended Posts

0+ to 1+ 0+ 1- 2- 1- 0- 1+ 0+on O/T.every time you hit 0 then you know which side won on 0 last time, was it OT or TB.sometimes you will see 2 or 3 sets of 0+,then a 0- pops up then it switches to tb4l.sometimes it stays on that 0- side 1 time then back to the 0+.it's funny how 1 little 0 can affect the game

That is why with a very tight count you are better off just betting opposites. The tighter the count the more opposites it must have.

Ellis,

Drove down to south beach with the top down this morning for breakfast while the sun was rising and had a question for you.

If tracking 4d

1. Is p/b a stong d or can you drop it and track say Oott instead?

2. Also if you can at track at casino speed say 5 ds is there any benefit to doing this?

Thank you

A nice drive! Some unfortunate people never see a sunrise. When they finally do they call 911! I used to spend a lot of time in the Bahamas. They have the most spectacular sun rises on the planet. In fact they are unearthly. One early morning thinking I'm the only one out there as usual, I caught a wiff.

I turned to look and there was this black local back there in the palms also watching the sun rise. When our eyes met, a huge shit eating grin appeared on his face. He floated over and offered me a hit. What the hell, it seemed to fit right in with the spectacular sun rise. Afterward I couldn't remember where my room was. Didn't much care either. Couldn't walk anyway. Most people miss out on the most important things about being a human being.

One count won't do you much good. The PvB count is mostly meaningless luck. A count is not so important by itself. It is the comparison of counts that is important. That's where the money is. The counts aren't hard or time consuming once you try it a couple times. Like Keith said, after a while you can do it W/O a score card and be surprisingly close - close enough. With S4D, getting our scorecard down to 7 columns - that's a breakthrough. Anybody can handle that and it's just as strong - hell, maybe even stronger. Wasn't my idea. Often, the best ideas come from the members. Thank Glenn.

Bet then you would love little palm island..you must have been in the remote parts of the Bahamas then........I just love south beach in the mornings....it's so alive as the day breaks....

My question might have been worded incorrectly, I meant I track or ot and oott.....am I missing out by not also including a p/b

Also if I can track 5 would it make sense to track 5..... I can do pb , or, ot, oott and oootttt at casino speed always betting opposites on lowest spread. Thanks Glenn and jbird and kdawg as well

Or is it ok to drop pb and just track or, ot, and oott.

Yeah, South Ocean Beach, way South of Palm Island. Dead opposite side of the island from the Paradise Island bridge. That's where DiviDivi is located now. We had 8 miles of uninterrupted beach back then- '80s. I used to go into the Ocean there with my daughter and leisurly swim the 4 miles to the winery, grab a couple bottles of wine and hitch hike back - never got passed up. Never got back with both bottles either.

PvB, once experienced a little, doesn't need scorecard tracking. Its right there in front of you and PvB is also recorded on the tote board. We always tracked OvR and OvT. So the only thing we are adding is OOvTT and that's only hard the first couple times you do it. The only thing new really is how we are using the information - the Hi side Lo side thing.

Maybe reversing the polarity of the OvT count would help. It is something to watch

Ellis,

Could you delve a little more in your thoughts on reversing polarity. If you simply reversed the the O/T polarity wouldn't that just make the count number the same but just give you the opposite polarity as the OvT count you based it on.

Hi Ellis,

To me, it's the same thing but maybe I'm just confused. I start net betting 1,1 on hand #8. My progression is 1,2 then 1,3 then 1,4 and I go back to 1,1 after each win. If I lose the 1,4 (3 unit bet) I flat bet the run until I lose. But it's the same as betting opposite whatever happened on hand 8 with a 1,2,3 prog.

Here are my updated rules:

(my rules have since been modified. I plan on posting them soon).

Jaybird could u please post your new set of rules
