I've been there a few times, they have a few baccarat tables minimum I think was 10. Shoes were like good s40 shoes. It was kinda hard to get in to play as always Asians like to pack at Baccarat tables.

Thanks for responding. Do you know how many bac tables? Any Bac in the HL room? Read somewhere table max is $10k -- do you know if that is right?

Yes they use alternating decks with shuffle machine. All the casinos in missouri usually start with 1 table in the am and open the 2nd in the afternoon. Depending on how busy it is, they will open a 3rd as well. River City is where the touch games are popular. All the tables are 10min- 10k max with no HL room since the asians play these 10min as a high limit table anyways.

I've played there john. It was too long ago to be valid today but one thing

that seldom changes - it was a straight up casino - no hanky panky.

So what are you doing in my neck of the woods? Business?

BTW, please give me a call at your convenience. 901 405 1723

I just want to compare notes on MDB+.

Oh, and thanks for your interest in my new manual.

Remember, a lot of the buyers will be novices so it will start

with a review of all basics.

But it will also reach new heights.

The idea is provide a COMPLETE overall picture of the game plus the nitty gritty.

I get all the questions both on the forum and via PM and phone calls - so I have a good handle

on where the guys are weak. I need to draw a complete picture of:

Regular vs factory cards

Casino casing

Table selection

System selection

Mode selection

Tote board reading and gleaning

The uses of SAP - which in the new manual - I'll call it the SS count for System Selection.

I'll make it worth your while but I'll make it worth while for novices as well.

And thanks for all your postings and explanations and tips on MDB+.

I wish I could be of more assistance on St Louis but it was too long ago.

If you happen to be in Missouri, me and trillion will be at river city in about 5 hours.

Hi dinosaur. I see you're keeping good company! trillion, I know I promised you I'd get my mailing address posted yesterday

but I got called in for emergency surgery. The biopsy taken from the back of my head came in positive for a fast spreading form of cancer.

In fact it doubled in size in less than a week. So they removed a 1" dia circle of scalp right down to the skull. Lab tests show they got all of it. Then it took hours to close because my scalp skin is so tight. I think my eyebrows are a little higher today And now I can see out the back of my head.

I'll post it right now on a new thread on the public Bac forum.

BTW, I'm about 20 miles South of the border just below Thayer/ West Plains, MO near Hardy AR off Rt 62 in Cherokee Village.

I am thinking ahead a couple months as I have to visit relatives who are coming over from Litchfield, Il. It would be convenient to stay near the airport, which is how I found Ameristar, but will look into River City as well.

Will let you know when I will be there -- would be great to see you and trillion.

Does anyone have any information about baccarat at this casino just outside St. Louis?

Just finished playing baccarat in St. Louis, Ameristar has 4 baccarat tables, no tables in the High Limit room, generally tables open around 12 noon and more tables opening when more players standing around waiting to play the games. Table limit is $5000.

Hollywood Casino has 4 tables next to the High Limit area, tables were open with lots of player between 2 tables, 2 tables charge commission and 2 tables are the EZ Baccarat games. Table limit is $10,000.

Ameristar is on I-70 west of the airport just across the Missouri River, Hollywood Casino is on I-70 west of airport just about 4-5 miles apart from each other.

Lumerier Casino is in downtown St. Louis on the riverfront, on I-70 east. 4 tables on the main floor with a $10,000 limit

River City Casino is in South county of St. Louis just off of I-55 south, exit onto Germania Ave and follow the signs to casino. 3 tables $5,000 Limit, 2 tables are touch games but the card are regular cards @ all of the casinos in St. Louis area. I have watched them open up tables and bring in the 8 deck of cards and open up each individual deck and go thru the cards to make sure all cards are in each deck.

I play @ Lumiere and River City due to there always seems to be a table open and people playing.

Thanks for the St Louis info Trillion. I live in Bloomington,il but frequent Stl quite often. We usually stay and play at River City or Lumiere. I am just learning MDB and have yet to try it in live play. I did Steve's 3 hour MDB seminar today online and feel much better about it. We are coming down on Friday the 26th to River City just for the one night but are also coming down for Cards game July 4 th weekend and will be at Lumiere the whole weekend. If you don't mind someone picking your brain and are going to be around I would really like to meet other BTC members in this area. Do you usually play NOR or MDB? I'm pretty much a rookie at both but would like to get more serious about playing.

Since the cards are regular cards, I would not recommend trying to play MDB+, play NOR while keeping track of SAP , O/R and O/T count and play according to which way the count is increasing or decreasing.

I have been flat betting with an occasional 2 bet when the trend has been going with the shoe.

I do not bet every hand, more like 10 to 20 hands in each shoe, unless I happen to be on a winning streak.

The shoes take around 90-120+ minutes for each shoe due to the Asian players. Have constantly complained to the dealers and pit bosses about each hand delay to no satisfaction.

I generally play on the weekdays because the weekends, the shoes can be up to 3 hours long and these are dealer dealt shoes, not touch games.

If I happen to be playing in St. Louis next weekend or July 4th weekend, I will send you a PM.

I was at Ameristar for a couple days and played baccarat there Friday night and Saturday.

The casino has four bac tables, all on the casino floor. Surprisingly, there are no bac tables in the HL room. Two of the tables are touch games (cards used one time) and two are no-touch. One of the touch games has banker commission. The other three tables (including one of the touch games) are no commission and have the three-card banker dragon. All tables use regular cards that are opened, washed and shuffled on the table, and then put into the standard shufflemaster auto shuffler.

All four tables were open Friday night, and a scan of the tote boards showed good signs for MDB+. I played MDB+ on two tables. The first table had 9 MDB+ bets, and the second had 4 MDB+ bets. All 13 bets won - twelve of them on the first bet; and 1 on the second bet. Really just perfect MDB+ conditions, especially for an up as you win progression. The myth that you can't play MDB+ with regular cards continues to proven wrong.

On Saturday I was intent on practicing with some other ways to play, but still kept an eye on the tote board to see how MDB+ was faring. While not as perfect as what I saw the night before, MDB+ would still have won on the shoes I observed.

I found Ameristar to be a pretty friendly place to play -- of course, always helps to win. The biggest negative it is probably the smokiest casino I have ever been in. Don't know what it is about the state of Mo. that they continue to allow smoking everywhere -- hotel rooms, restaurants, etc.

Congrats W2F. Part is the same way with the smoking. The certain people that play there are smoking machines (One right after the other). Is your hit rate on any of your progressions around 60%? I remember you saying it was higher than that.
