aaroneze, these shoes are eazy to beat with NOR+ but your avatar says you are a junior member. Are you not yet a NOR member? If you are going to be playing this casino you need to be a NOR member. You could probably have won back your tuition on these 3 shoes alone. But I can't be doing play by plays for you if you are not a NOR member. In fact on the NOR forum we are just now talking about shoes that begin with 111.

The dealer is not actually making a second cut but it does look that way to a beginner.

Also, about how many Bac tables are there?

Is this card room a 24 hour casino?

What time of day do they come out with new cards?

And what time do you play?

The reason I ask is these shoes look like they were dealt fairly soon after new cards were prepped.

Note how all the 4s and 5s are followed by 1's.

You may have a gold mine here but you need to know how to play.

I'd like to help you on this project but first I need to know for sure that you are a NOR member.

NO clue on what time the cards come out, but I will ask whenever I go back.

I play at random times... so far I have been going from 11AM - 11PM somewhere between those times.

OK, it says you are posting on the NOR forum so I take it you are in fact a NOR member. But then, why didn't you post right on the NOR+ thread. These are good shoes for NOR+ discussion. Our site is a little screwed up right now but Keith is working on the problem. Otherwise I'd move your post myself. Just confirm to me you are a NOR member. Then I'll show you how to beat this easy shoe type. Hopefully Keith will have this site problem fixed soon and get your avatar corrected. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I am a NOR member... I bought the NOR manual and have been posting/browsing on this site for the last 2-3 weeks... I have been messaging Keith for awhile to let him know that I did... I think he did change my avatar... I don't know what else to say to confirm that I am... And I'm not 100% sure if I have the most up to date manual. I feel like I have a real good grasp on the NOR system, but then I seem to be losing everytime I go that is why I have been posting shoes the last couple of days to see what I have been doing wrong and what the pros would do correct. I feel like I choose the most biased table there is (there are only 4 in this casino that plays baccarat) but biased as in color, or OR count. It seems that my major downfall seems to be possibly the shoe changing, or possibly me not truly knowing the system very well. Thanks for replying Ellis.

Little about this Casino...It's more of a card house. Their games include: Baccarat, Blackjack and Paigow. There are shuffling machines next to each table. We are unable to touch any of the cards. When it's time to cut, one of the players makes the cut and then it seems that the dealer makes a second cut. If possible I would like a play by play approach.. I have been losing many times here and don't really understand why... I feel like my weakness may be table selection...maybe an explanation of what triggers I need to learn to pick the "right" table.

Well first, tell me about the cards:

Califormia I would expect preshuffled.

Do the cards originally come to the table in an 8 deck bundle or 8 individual decks? Do you know?

Are you allowed to touch the cards?

Is it new cards every shoe?

Or do they use the same cards all day?

Does somebody cut the cards before every shoe or no?

These games seem very strange to me. what with long ST, ZZ, and TT runs mixed together.

I probably would not go back to that casino, Do you have any other choice?

You would probably be better off playing on line. Have you tried that?

Except for the TT runs, these look like TB4L shoes from yesteryear at first glance. But you can't play TB4L with TT runs.

BTW, the first shoe played straight NOR OTB4L M3 with an U1D1 M2 prog scores +43.

You would have needed a 15 unit buy in but we usually buy in for 20 units with that prog. Your highest bet is 6. I started U1D1M2 after play 3. I probably would have gone home after that to avoid getting barred.

The 2nd much shorter shoe played the same way, except that the 8iar throws you into Mode 2 for ST runs, scores +16, down from +18, trying to make +20.

Hi Ellis, thanks for the quick reply. The table had a black box with 8 cards in them already. We are not allowed to touch the cards at any time. It looks like its the same cards... the dealer seems to just ask someone to cut and they just keep rolling. And yes they do allow a person to cut the cards before every shoe. The reason why I played at this particular cardroom called Casino 580 was because they had 4 bac tables with no fees what so ever, and it being only 30 minutes away from my house. Another casino is about 1 hour away from me with 3 baccarat tables... and another is called San Pablo, which is 20 minutes away with only 1 bac table... So I'm pretty low on choices around here! Are there any websites that you would recommend? The reason why the shoe was short, was because I didn't write down the whole shoe...which I'm assuming was a mistake on my part. Next time I go, I will copy the whole shoe before entering it.

Hey guys, I just got back from a cardroom here in California called Casino 580.. Well I had a pretty hard lost tonight and was wondering what would you guys do with these shoes... the first shoe I ended up losing pretty bad. 2nd shoe I got +30. 3rd shoe I ended up with +5 only.. Shoe 4 was also another disaster of me ending up at -7 units... and then Shoe 5 was another -8. I think it's back to the drawing boards for me. I was confident in playing but I think I might have the systems messed up or confused. Any help would be great...Thanks!
