Yes, both thoughts are correct. The problem is that CSMs are more often in that no man's land between 1st and 3rd base - Too clumped for good 3rd base play yet not clumped enough for good 1st base play. Regular games pass through that stage quicker. CSMs tend to get stuck in it. In my view CSMs strictly help the casinos goals while offering no value to the players. If the players boycotted CSMs they wouldn't be around long.
If CSM make the game bias dealer, player every time lost at blackjack, i think soon they will boycotted the game, maybe even pontoon, i can't think of any normal person who gamble when they don't see a chance of wining or anyone win or on a very hard to win game maybe a $1 yes $25 almost impossible maybe those who are really gambling addicted will?
like my old company manager always tell us the cake is for everyone to share eating it all by yourself will bring u no good but harm.

Another important fact BS completely overlooks is whenever you hit a pair of aces you get a FREE hit. There is no way to break on your first hit. AND if your first hit was not a ten, you get a SECOND free hit.
BS also completely overlooks the fact that when you split aces you are only allowed ONE hit on each ace. This is why it is stupid to split aces unless solid tens are running right up to your split or hit decision.
A favorite of mine is doubling an 8 against a 7 with tens running. If you both get tens, YOU win. If not, you'll probably win anyway. BS totally ignores that money making play along with many others.
i was trying figure when double 8, that clear things up.

Sorry Ellis with all due respect I can’t agree with you, in my opinion casino is not the enemy,
no more than someone’s employer is the enemy.
When I walk into a casino I don’t walk in with a chip on my shoulder with the attitude that I’m here to fight the enemy I walk in with a positive attitude saying okay how much are you guys going to give you today,
then I start doing the job that I learned an practiced for many years, same as an employee would do for his employer.

well yes sometime is confusing because i cannot just throw in a score card in public and i can't convert it to words very well
