Baccarat that burn one card every play

Recommended Posts

Dear Ellis,

I was at a Ship that have a casino. So I decided to try out some basic stuffs on the Baccarat Table. After a few hands, I realised the dealer was burning one card every play before the cards were dealt. So I decided to stop playing, is not applicable in this circumstances? I stop playing as I am afraid the burn cards will affect the outcome of the trend.

Yours Sincerely,

Jeremy

Yes, I've seen that before in both BJ and Bac. It is not legal in either game but a ship in international waters can do whatever they want.

This makes some sense in BJ because it foils BJ card counting which most casinos recognize doesn't work anyway. But ships can't be expected to be totally up to date on things. So ships are simply applying what they think works in BJ to Bac because they don't realize the two games have nothing in common. They think Bac is BJ for idiots.

But it will definitely effect the Bac game and you were right to note it and be suspicious of it.

The whole idea of Bac is that once the first card is dealt, the die is cast for the whole shoe. Nothing short of a dealer mistake can change the outcome of a single hand - not superstition, not mind over matter, NOTHING. Once you completely understand this, player antics in touch games, like slowly revealing the spots, becomes completely hilarious, or perhaps boring. THROW THE DAMN CARD IN, IDIOT. IT IS NOT GOING TO CHANGE NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO TO IT.

But burning a card each hand? That changes the outcome of every hand and you are no longer playing true Baccarat. You are playing some sort of international waters game that the ship invented.

BTW, it is quite common to find ships outright cheating - like arranging the whole deck to their benefit in both BJ and Bac. I've caught them red handed, and red faced, several times. There are ways to tell!

BTW, I've turned down several offers to go and work for the casinos and one offer to go and work for the ships. But here's the main thing for me. I have to live with myself - Casinos are my natural enemy.

Thank Ellis for the clarification, I will never ever going back there to play.

Well, Jeremy, let me go a step further and I will show you how I knew they were cheating in one boat situation:

The boat was docked in New Orleans, one of my favorite cities.

The set up was the players waited outside at the gangblank for the boat to open its doors at 11 A.M.

So we all burst in at 11 A.M. It was mostly Blackjack with many tables and the cards were already shuffled and ready to deal. They didn't even offer a cut.

The crowd headed for the $10 tables. So I went alone straight to the $25 tables in the back because I prefer to play head to head. I played alone at their 2 $25 tables all day.

I held my own in the first shoe. But when it ended I said to the dealer, "You fixed the cards!" He says: "Why do you say that?" I said because 2 highs never came out in a row. That is impossible so I know you fixed the cards." Knowing he was caught red handed he says; "look, I just work here and I have to do whatever they tell me."

I said: "Don't worry about it. I'll play the next table and give you a chance to fix the cards again."

Here is what they did: 2-7 is low. 8-10 is high giving you 6 of each. They arranged the whole shoe hi, lo, hi, lo hi, lo. And then spread the aces through the shoe.

With this arrangement a card counter never gets a count to go passed 1 or 2. That is probably why they arranged the cards that way. But, see, I don't count.

So, OK, I'm likely to lose the first hand because I'm going to get 2 lows vs a dealer pat hand. See that?

BUT from there on out I'm always going to know if the next card is high or low so I'm always going to know exactly when to hit and when not to. I can also often feed the dealer a breaking card. You can't give a player of my calibre an advantage like that. I'm going to Kill such a game.

So I went to the next table. The cards were arranged the same way so I killed the game. Then I went back to the first dealer and killed his game. I kept doing this until about 8 PM. Then I left to go to my favorite place in the world - O'Brians. More beer is served at O'Brians than any establishment in the whole world. But I took my usual seat outside in the court yard next to the fire fountain and washed down filet mignon with their best scotch with $20,000 of the boat's money. I'm not the kind of player casinos want to cheat. I'll turn the tables on them every time.

Thanks Ellis, I learn something new to ride with the tide and use it as an advantage to you, very impressive. Anyway I just got back from the Casino and realised that I could only play about 12-20 hands for every new shoe as the trend is pretty straight forward either using S40 or OTB4L, I could say win +5 to +10 using a 1,2 progression. The trend usually changes after that I noticed say from a ZZ run or TT to a P312421123 then I'll be at a fixed and do not know what to do, thus what I am doing now is to always look for tables with new shoes to play after winning a streak (+5 to +10 units) and when the tide changes and I will look for new tables to play and repeat what I am doing.

Whatever works for you Jeremy but a P312421123 is no problem for OTB4L mode 3 which is what you are supposed to be starting with - you make an additional 9 units if I'm reading your post right. I'm thinking you need more practice with your systems???

Yes Ellis,, definitely I need more practice with the systems. I will head down later and try it out again. Btw what does U1D2 stands for?

Jeremy

See, you are demonstrating exactly what I mean. You need to study the NOR+ threads.

U1D2 means up 1 when you lose and down 2 when you win. It is the core of NOR+. You need to study and practice at home until you have all down pat. It is a whole lot cheaper that way. You are not ready for the casinos yet.

Thanks Ellis will head out yr advice. Will go through the NOR+ thoroughly and get all the advice and theory into my head before heading down. Like what you say we are there to kill those bastards and not a charitable organization to them! When I am ready, I will be there to slaughter them and update you on my progress!
