    Here is a shoe I just played

    A few notes about 5 Dimes games

    It is a 6 deck shoe you get about 60 hands

    the shuffle is done by a second dealer that shows up and starts a very fast shuffle one deck at a time and that is it if it takes 2 minutes to shuffle that is too long and this is done while the initial dealer is still dealing to you.

    I can tell you on these shoes MDB + does not usually work on these you will sometimes see a perfect OTB4L with a run of 8 to 10 in a row.

    I play shoes Nor with a bias towards TB4L with a combination of MDB original it works however keep an eye on your O/R count

    That is the most important thing with these shoes change direction pretty quick.

    I also net bet sometime on these shoes however I hate the 5 or 6 unit bets sometime you have to make if but that works for you net bet could be the best way to go

    I take my 4 or 5 units and run also I have requested 2 payouts the first one by money gram the 2nd one they deposited on my Visa card takes about 2 or 3 days to get your funds but I got paid so far.

    I use a Visa prepaid card and they accept US based customers and you can start with 50 bucks I'm going to request a payout after tomorrow football games are over

    Ok here is a shoe from 5 dimes they deal about 60 hands on average so I think it s 6 decks in the shoe this played with a live dealer that you see on video when dealing the cards I don't think they are preshuffled decks I see the card prep sometimes new cards you can tell because when lay them on the table you A,K,Q J,10 9 etc black spades clubs red hearts diamonds etc then sometimes the dealer is dealing then someone will sit down next to the dealer and shuffle very quickly the last shoe played so it is ready for next game and then sometime I see them doing what is called wash the dealer just mixes the cards on the table sorry for the long explanation I wanted to make sure everyone understands I need to know do we play MDB or MDB + or NOR

    of course I will post the shoe for you...BUT TO ANYONE ON THIS FORUM, I MUST TELL YOU "UP FRONT" I DO NOT USE THE VERTICAL FORMAT ( I USE HORIZONTAL), AND I DO NOT USE THE "STANDARD" NOR MARKINGS.....I USE A COMPARISON CHART WHICH HELPS ME KEEP TRACK OF WHAT THE DISPARITY IN THE SHOE TELLS ME IS STRONGEST/WHERE TO BET...( and I look at SAP as well...)     51: I am still convinced the O/R count is strong,and since 1-IAR SAP count looks low still, I jump back on the Bank ( recent strong side F) ( Win$25 ...+24 units for the shoe)

    52: Am I dreaming? (could be... it is 2am by this point in the shoe...) Will this easily be a 30 unit shoe? I skip the 2 bet, and go right to 4 units on B, and...( Lose...down to +20 for the shoe...)

    53:What the Heck...Repeat still strong on B side...I wager 1 unit ( Win...back to + 21 units)

    54:Emboldened, and knowing I cannot go below 15 units for the shoe, i again jump to my 4 unit bet on B ( strong)side and ...( Lose...down to +17units for the shoe)

    55-No bet

    56:No bet

    57-58: Yikes: i look back and notice the last 7 hands...all ! IAR...suddenly 1's are moving up beyond normal Frequency of occurrence, O/R coutnt is rapidly moving the needle towards "0",my heretofore F shoe is changing, and OTBL count is getting crushed by TBL DISPARITY!! So i wait and see what happens...and YES, turns out #57 is another Opposite..., so I decide to take a chance and bet #58 for 1 unit Opposite...( Now +18 units for shoe)

    59-65,to where i quit the shoe as above...i squeeze out another 3 units by just focusing on TBL Disparity, which as you can see ends with the highest amountof DISPARITY for any P/B, O/R or OTBL/TBL measurement by the time I exited the shoe @ + 19 units -- after commission,and giving the dealer and cocktail waitress their share of the booty(winnings)

    In Summary-

    1) I told you I keep my scorecard differently, but that I do it horizontally really has no impact on playing NOR,NOR+OTR,or SAP

    2) I have mentioned in other posts my thoughts that tracking B/P, O/R andOTBL/TBL disparity is intrinsic to how i play...I recognize that for many of you reading this, this does NOT look like your NOR scorecard, but I have played many,many years, and if you read Steven's updated NOR manual you will see where I am coming from...THIS IS HOW I MONITOR THE SHOE, AND DECIDE IF I NEED TO CHANGE FROMNOR TO NOR+OTR PLAY,AND WHEN TO SWITCH, IF AT ALL...( yes, it does take practice...but in a shoe like this, it really helped me out)

    3) I am generally leery of too big a reliance on betting progressions,as they oftimes move me to a stop loss early in a shoe...but when I think the shoe is pointing me that way, I start and raise/lower my unit bets

    4) AS A SHOE IS DRAWING TO A CLOSE,OR I AM THINKING OF EXITING THE SHOE, I TEND TO GET MORE CONSERVATIVE, SINCE I HAVE WORKED SO LONG, and do not want to give up my gains...

    5) I still think SAP has a placce in the game, and I thank Ellis and his disciples ( like Paul) for it

    6) When appropriate,I am definitely looking at the P-side of the game versus the B-side of the game to identify shoe anomalies...this shoe was a real roller coaster,and the kind where it really comes in handy

    All-in-all, it likely appears that I track an awful lot of metrics to guide my play...and I do, but you all need to know that I am best when I am playing by myself, nobody else around, and I can play a shoe like this one in about 45 minutes...even with my thought processes all working! To me, this is much better than playing midi-bac, or with a bunch of people who "debate" the merits of the tote-board and each hand takes about 3-5 minutes to play!!

    Hope I haven'tconfused you too much Witchy...I do play NOR, which is just neutral (OTBL) Opposite (s40) and repeat (F), but I tend to focus on the metrics of P/B, O/R and OTBL/TBL DISPARITY as the basis for what is really happening in a shoe...

    If you are interested, look back at Ellis'2009 posts and the discussion on DISPARITY...i think this is the best I can tell you as to why I monitor my play that way!

    Simple...It works for me!!

    Hi Don! Long time no see. This is a classic shoe for NOR+. Simply start at play 2 and play OTB4L staying in Mode 3.(NOR+) Don't bother with any Mode 1's or 2s. Bet U1D2. This is the way I usually play and I always start this way with new cards. You'll see you score a very easy +15 in only 35 plays - less than half a shoe, W/O ever going negative. The whole shoe would very likely have been an easy +20 or more! OTB4L M3 (NOR+) has no problem with 6s or even 7s, 8s or 9s. Your highest bet is only a single 4 at play 18 and you have only 3 3 bets. You can't get much safer than that! Your PA is an easy 27.3%. Is that expert enough for you?

    i walked in on the shoe about play 10 I thought after about 2 plays more it was an OTB4l shoe because the O/R count was hovering not really going anywhere I played OK until the the Streak of 6 came up the shoe switched to the zz pattern I just watched after that I was OTB4L I was in Mode 2 I guess I should have switched to mode 3 but the shoe made me feel very uncomfortable so I walked losing 5 units

    Hi Don! I AM politics oriented and I think you are being conned by the wrong TV channel. Try MSNBC and get some facts. In spite of the Republican spin on everything, Bush caused a world wide recession and record unemployment in the US. Obama first immediately stopped the job loss bloodshed and has had constant job growth ever since. The jobs chart shows a giant V with the bottom of the V at Obama's inception. That in spite of the fact of major govt employment reduction greatly reducing the size of govt under Obama. Plus far more people have health insurance under Obama. When they don't, WE are paying their way.

    Romney is a corporate raider and has been caught lieing or changing his stripes at every turn. He CAN't show his tax returns because he is a professional tax dodger. There is no other reason for offshore accounts. He wants to hire the Bush people back and continue the Bush legacy. He is an international embarrassment everywhere with no concept of foreign affairs. Corporate raiding is not business experience. It is anti business experience. No one who isn't a white multimillionaire has any business voting Republican in this election. So, are you a multimillionaire at this point? Then vote for Romney.

    President of the US is a responsible job. It is Romney who has never experienced working for a living like the rest of us.

    ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — At first, it seemed like a coincidence, the kind of thing that happens from time to time at a casino, where the same number or same sequence of cards happens twice in a row.

    But when the players at an April game of mini-baccarat at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City kept seeing the same sequence of cards dealt, over and over and over again, their eyes grew wide and their bets grew bigger, zooming from $10 a hand to $5,000.

    Forty-one consecutive winning hands later, the 14 players had racked up more than $1.5 million in winnings - surrounded by casino security convinced they had cheated but unable to prove how.

    In a lawsuit against a Kansas City playing card manufacturer, the Golden Nugget contends the cards were unshuffled, despite being promised to be pre-shuffled and ready to use.

    The April 30 incident was the latest instance of unshuffled cards causing big headaches for an Atlantic City casino. In December, the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort used unshuffled mini-baccarat cards for 3 1/2 hours before realizing something was wrong. That episode led to a $91,000 fine against the casino, which fired nine people it said were involved.

    It is so basic to the concept of gambling that it often goes without saying: the cards in the deck need to be shuffled before anyone uses them. But in the case of the Golden Nugget, the gamblers did nothing wrong, and deserve to be paid the nearly $1 million they still have coming to them, according to their lawyer, Benjamin Dash.

    "The Golden Nugget appealed to gamblers to come in and play games licensed and sanctioned by the state of New Jersey," he said. "My clients did exactly that, and then were denied their winnings. There is absolutely no law in New Jersey that would permit the Golden Nugget to declare the game illegal because it failed to provide shuffled cards."

    But in a lawsuit filed against the 14 gamblers in July, that is exactly what the casino seeks, citing state gambling regulations requiring all casino games to offer fair odds - to both sides. The casino's lawsuit asserts the gamblers and the casino both began the game believing it was legal and proper - until the players kept winning over and over again.

    The Golden Nugget said it flooded the area with floor persons, managers, supervisors, surveillance and security officers, believing they were watching "a sophisticated swindling and cheating scheme" in progress.

    Most of the players at the table were asian and speaking in a foreign language which confused security even more. They thought the players were doing something, but it was only their unshuffled cards.

    At the Golden Nugget Atlantic City on April 30, bets on a game of mini-baccarat quickly grew from $10 a hand to $5,000 a hand when the 14 players at the table continually saw the same sequence of cards dealt. After 41 consecutive winning hands, players were up a total of $1.5 million, and casino security surrounded the table, convinced of foul play, reported the Associated Press.

    The winners were questioned to the point of harassment. Security reportedly woke up one Brooklyn man in the middle of the night, physically restraining him and holding him in his room without food or water for eight hours while they searched his belongings, Finding nothing, they let the man go.

    Later, the casino learned the problem was actually with the decks of cards. The Golden Nugget contends the Blue Springs, Missouri-based playing card manufacturer Gemaco Inc. had promised to pre-shuffle the cards. But the cards were unshuffled, and the Golden Nugget dealers put them into play without checking.

    The Golden Nugget is suing the card manufacturer, as well as the 14 players, claiming the casino shouldn’t have to pay out their winnings.

    The players have hired a lawyer, Benjamin Dash, to defend their right to their winnings. The players—all Chinese, according to the Kansas City Business Journal—have filed suit against the casino for racial discrimination.

    “The Golden Nugget appealed to gamblers to come in and play games licensed and sanctioned by the state of New Jersey,†Dash told the AP. “My clients did exactly that, and then were denied their winnings. There is absolutely no law in New Jersey that would permit the Golden Nugget to declare the game illegal because it failed to provide shuffled cards.â€

    Then contact at the Gold Coast has moved on and therefore I have no one to pass onto anyone. I am checking some other contacts but we really have no relationships of any substance in Vegas so I am open to any suggestions. Steve our fellow who helps us in LA is always comped at the Paris so he will check for us to see if they can do something for us. I doubt a casino will help us anymore to be honest.
