  1. 8orbetter, be careful what you deem "negative" regarding what is being shared.  It can easily be misconstrued for the objective nature it is being communicated in.  The personal attack upon the integrity and character of way2fast, is nothing but a dishonest diversionary tactic to hide behind.   It is always best to be honest with ones self first.  Then and only then can you share honestly with another.  Honesty demands the entire truth, and not just a chosen part of it, to suite ones own selfish and misguided pursuits.  That which is honest, needs no justification as it stands on its own merit.

nobody taught me HOW TO WIN

I totally agree.....the bottom line...for anyone that wants to learn......is learning through hard work, dedication, and commitment to the "how to".   I am 66 years young, and one thing I have learned.....is to NEVER STOP LEARNING.  If you choose to stop learning....you aren't moving forward.  So...MOVE FORWARD....ALWAYS.  It really makes the journey of life much more fun also.  It truly becomes your "ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME".

  3. wolfat......you are more than deserving and worthy of any and all compliments....not only regarding your unique and creative aspects of baccarat.......but even more so, the true gentleman and excellent character that you have.  A very positive influence and inspiration you are.  Thank you for the privilege of getting to know you, and being a benefactor for all your insightful work that you do.  Peace and happiness to you always.....Rick

  4. I flat bet and will occasionally use a 1-2, (negative and positive) when I see the opportunity.  I continue to win consistently in small numbered units, per shoe.  What is important to me is at the end of the day, being in the + category.  Continuing to focus on short term setups.  Stop loss is -5 to realize I am not seeing the shoe clearly...so time to either wake up...or stop on that shoe.  It really gets my attention to the level it needs to be.

Philosophically I have a problem with an approach that avoids teaching students how to WIN just because it may take some work and be a little harder than we all wish it was.

I could not agree more with that statement.  The best teacher I ever had, shared the truth of..."it's one thing to know what to do, and quite another matter in knowing HOW to.  The teacher/leader, must not only teach WHAT, they must also teach HOW TO."   "The WHAT is easy.....the HOW TO is where the work and learning takes place.

example.....I knew I had to repair and remodel my place after a tree fell on it and damaged it. That's the WHAT.   I didn't know how to in some regards.  So I had to learn HOW TO.  I gave free week of labor to a carpenter if he would show me how to build outside and inside walls.  I gave a free week of labor to a plumber if he would show me how to run and attach plumbing from an outside water source into the house.  Lastly I gave a free week of labor to an electrician if he would show me how to run the electric from outlets to light sockets, etc.

So it's both....the "What" and "How to" teacher that is the best there is.  It's not about telling someone "WHAT" to do.....it's teaching and showing them "HOW TO".

  6. You are kindly welcome my friend.  No, I honestly didn't eat at all at the Potowatomi.  I would take my lady to work at 11am. and drive straight to Milwaukee. About a 40 minute drive each way.  I would have enough time to play 2 shoes, and then head back to pick her up from work at 5pm.  Each shoe took about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to play.  I was late one time in getting back from the casino to pick her up from work by about 15 minutes. I would have called but my cell phone battery was dead.  She was so understanding about it and told me she didn't mind waiting for me.  Definitely a "winner winner chicken dinner"....lol
