Hi Keith I tried this with based on Midas Touch system which is similar reverse labouchere cancellation system.

But what happened is that on a bad run the bets increase.

Depends how your wins come in - if its wwLwwL then its fine or even LLLLwww its ok but this method relies on consecutive wins like a parlay to cross off faster than you accumulate

If its wLwLwL then all you do is increase uncrossed sums and cross off smaller values

At least flat bet you break even and negative progression you win

Not saying its not viable and cant work just based on what I experienced

The thing with this system is most people think they can cancel out everything eventually and its like a HG or something so they keep betting and their bet selection goes down and their bet size goes up.

Once again flat bet you never stray from the plan because you cant so I find it the absolute safest way but a 1,2 I could live with.

    But I'm open to ideas

One thing I did hear of was a guy who made a living from 111224488

    Aim to win one unit

    first bet you bet 1

then if lose go to a double win

    If lose go to parlay

then onto the 2 for a double win

if lose go to 2 for a parlay

    and so on

at any step you only need 2 wins to come out +1

Eg lose all the 1's and then get a double win on the 2 = +4

Or lose the first 2 and then get a parlay = +6

If lose the series start again

With a good bet selection you could get a double win within the series quite a lot more than losing and maybe even win more than you lose

But 8 unit higher than base bet - aaargh!

    It's called the 31 system.

  3. Ellis,

Thank you, for clarifying the tracking of 1's, 2s, 3s and 4+.

I have another question - Why do we need an OR column in our scorecard?

When the SAP counts of 1's are High or 2nd Highest we have a + OR Count and visa versa when 1's are Low or 2nd Lowest we have a - OR Count. Likewise, SAP covers the OT Counts having High 2’s meaning a + O/T Count and Low 2's, or No 2’s means a - O/T Count.

  4. I'm just not sure. You might avoid some problem shoe starts that otherwise would have hit your stop loss, but you also might miss he best part of the shoe. SAP is a great tool, but remember it is nothing more than a count of the event patterns and doesn't tell you much more that what you can already see in the shoe. But I hear what you are saying -- if you knew for example that 3s would be MC, it would be a good shoe to skip playing (or at least not use U2Hi).

I wonder if there is something that can be done with the progressions, or when to bet the high vs. low side, which would improve the performance in the so called "garbage" sections, without taking too much away from the very strong performance U2Hi delivers in the long ZZs and straight runs.

How about when you see Two (2) Repeats in a Row. Start betting OTB4L or TB4L, until 2 loses. Then, resume 2 Hi Net Betting?

  5. Those shoes would be a good refresher on NOR+, but what we need are some 4D shoes played by Ellis on the new 4D scorecard. That would be most helpful and seeing the play by plays would answer many questions for those wanting to learn 4D. Posting shoes is not hard and I would be glad as would many others if Ellis needs help putting them up.

Although I'm playing a different method, I've read the 4D info and find it very sound conceptually. These example shoes would help me answer my main question. Can this method with all it's required tracking and card notations and logging of info possibly be played at casino speed?

I've always learned more by studying posted example shoes than any other method. It would also avoid Ellis continuously having to answer repeated questions. Everyone could study the examples and learn at a much faster rate.

May I ask what method you are using?

  8. Hi FrontAl and everyone- just curious does anyone know using a 3 step up as you win progression 1-2-2 , what do we do if we win the 1 and loss the first 2? Thanks, I'm just curious how to best use this.

Start over at 1. The 1-2-2 progression loses after five attempts before completing the series.

If your hit rate is greater than 5 attempts, then you need to re-evaluate your bet decisions.

After winning and completing the 3-step series you're up 5 units, minus all of your 1 loses.

Note: After playing this weekend at the Tampa Hard Rock I changed from PLAYER and BANKER NOT being independent of each other using the 3-step series. It did not work. Also, I reverted back to OT as explained by Ellis in his OT posts.

Sorry, my Idea did not show good results even though the online casinos show good results. However, I still like the 3-step series (1-2-2) up as you win.

  9. Ellis or Anyone.....

Any Ultimate Net Betting rules using the 2 Hi Progression as yet ?

Could it be the ultimate method of all time !

    Thank You .

Ultimate Net Betting does win a lot of shoes. This weekend I'll be at the Tampa Hard Rock and I am going to use an up as you win 3-step, 2 Hi Progression 1-2-2 on repeats only and 1-2 on chops.

This progression only loses after five attempts on repeats before completing the series.

After winning and completing the 3-step series you're up 5 units. Then, you start the series over again.

If you win the first 1-2 units and lose the third 2-unit bet you gained 1-unit. You then, start over again.

Keep in mind you follow the Ultimate Net Betting rules with one major change, (ANYTIME YOU LOSE (1 BET) to a CHOP And an (OT) PATTERN APPEARS TWICE. THEN, BET (OT) UNTIL IT LOSES (2 BETS) using the 3-step series, OTHERWISE BET REPEATS.

NOTE: PLAYER and BANKER will be independent of each other using the 3-step series.

I have been using this method with online casinos having great success averaging 10+ units but, not in a brick and mortar casino.

I feel confident this method will work and report on results.

  10. Ellis, do you think a 345 progression is a good idea for MDB+? The way I see MDB+, it is not a series of individual bets, but rather a singular bet on a particular event outcome (i.e. there won't be five 3s without a 2). That singular bet could have three "installments", but the idea is that if you are right on the beting proposition, you win. With a 345 you can be "right" and still lose 2 units. The third bet has the highest win rate, yuet every time we win it we lose 2 units? Also, when the goal is only 5 units per shoe, betting 3 units as the base seems a little aggressive and unnecessary.

Then your next bet will be 3 units. Many instances the first bet wins more often, when you win your 1st bet of 3 units your up 1 unit not down 2 units. You now RECOVERED from a losing series. Betting 3-4-5 brings your wins to escalate much higher when wining 50%+.

  11. I fully concur...

I also fully realise that not everyone is in the same situation...but for me...$200 for several hours of teaching directly from the "Best there has ever been" is cheap as chips (no pun intended)

Let's get this in perspective...I paid $50/hour for several years to get my daughter tutored...I pay $80/hour to get my grass slashed...my damn plumber charges $80 call out fee before he gets out of his van and then $80/hour (we won't talk about travelling time GRRR) ... my solicitor charges $180/hour to keep me out of gaol (for most likely me murdering my plumber)...my accountant (who never leaves his house) $120/hour (and I still cop direct calls from the Tax Department)...and even a damn painter wants to charge me $70/hour to paint my house (approx 8 weeks work when he bothers to turn up)

So...what's it gonna cost us for the benefit of several hours of Ellis's time?...effectively $20 - $40/hour...GO FIGURE!

If you don't believe it will benefit you personally to utilise this teaching tool, then that's fair enough (I am sort of in that boat...but I can't be sure and for the sake of the price of a half decent meal in a restaurant, I am not prepared to risk missing out on what might be a vital piece of missing information to further improve my play)

But if it's the cost alone....then seriously...you should scrap any thoughts of playing Baccarat as a professional and consider playing Bingo at your local church hall

    Just my 2 cents worth

    Oz

That is cheap my damn plumber charges $140 call out fee. What's worse is my electrician @160/hr.

$200 for several hours of teaching from Ellis is reasonable. The return on investment is well worth it.

  12. Hi Team,

After all of the great intel we surfaced in the 5dimes.com shoe thread. I was hoping we could try it at other Casinos across that we have experience. I've played all of the Bac tables at Foxwoods over the last year or 2. However, most of my best play was in the Asian Newport Bac room.

For those playing already there, I was hoping we could share some intel on the best ways to beat their shoes:

    1) I've noticed they used pre-shuffled cards (1 big white box of many decks)

    2) Only$100 min tables have a tote board

    3) All games are touch games

    4) I've played both the 50 and 100 dollar tables, using NOR scorecard with mix results.

What is best way to play these at Newport room at Foxwoods? MBD, MDB+, NOR, other, combo play of NB and MDB+???

    Hi Bigcash,

I use to play there when I lived in Boston, almost every weekend, the people are friendly. I started playing BJ then, switch to baccarat.

I would stay with NB and MDB+ touch games. Start out slowly until your sweet spot starts jumping out and feel confident on your method of play.

  13. Have to think some more about this Skip U1D2M2 approach. Probably need to see how it does in other circumstances. In this ONE shoe, it shows it does OK when there are lots of 2s and 3s with some sporadic 1s. But OTBL is a much better choice for a shoe rich in those events. OTBL wins 20 units in that partial shoe while making just one 4 unit bet (net betting makes three 4 unit bets). Also, how does this net betting approach work with the common TTs? I'm thinking not too good -- lots of consecutive loosing bets. This shoe starts 223 which just screams OTBL. If I see that at the start of the shoe, my mind wouldn't even consider some kind of net betting approach hoping for low disparity -- I'm looking instead to capitalize on the EVENTS. Maybe it's just me?

I agree OTB4L would kill this shoe. Net betting is simple but, risky if you get carried away playing this.

  14. Kevin,

I agree discipline is crucial both in money management and playing strategy. I found that net betting 3hi works in some casinos but, not always. Where as S40M2 will work using 2hi has more consistency, for my style of playing. Don't jump in the game until you watch, then decide using paper play first on which method works the best. With a $2,000 buy-in you can easily start off betting $100, as you win move up to $200 etc. Note: keep focus forget about casino distractions.

    Al

  15. Hey Kevin,

Sorry, you lost your job and your dog, and the BFF burned the house down...but how can the truck be running if its on empty?

Instead of S40M3, net betting 1-2-3 either P/B, OR, OT shows a higher PA with less stress. You can go to 1-2-3-4 but I wouldn't go any further. If there is a lost wait until the OTR is over but here is the catch resume your net bets where you left off using U1D2.

    What do you think? Al...

  16. Yes BUT:

First: the rules, as complex as they already are, need to be concise enough for the average player to follow.

    Second:

S40 likes 1's MOST and 2s second most

OTB4L likes 2s MOST and 3s second most

    S40M1 likes 1s most and 4+s 2nd most.

I think we've got to go with "most".

I've never been able to get players to even grasp what event each system likes most, let alone 2nd most and let alone what they DON't Like.

Players like a crutch like the OR count.

In MDB their crutch is an SAP count.

In my experience players will have their hands full remembering which system goes with which high count

let alone the highest two counts.

I think if we try to match the highest 2 counts to the correct system most will simply give up and blame the Designer.

I already stated which system goes with the highest two counts. That effort will be totally lost on most players.

However it will be VERY meaningfull to our best players.

Some players will have their hands full averaging +5. Hence the MDB schedule is based on +5.

I expect our best players to average at least +7 mostly through tricks of the trade. They can go through the million dollar schedule much faster.

Our best players will conform the hard rules to their own liking.

Our best players "SEE" the overall MDB strategy.

Our average player just follows rules with little understanding of why the rules are as they are.

I realize how pessimistic this sounds. But I also know that the "players" who criticize me on other forums are the very SAME guys who can't follow even the most basic of rules - the same players who cannot grasp overall concepts. Somehow they blame me rather than themselves. These guys also believe that all winners are liars. When they watch me win they claim I cheated. The same guys who want something for nothing.

I agree Ellis, most of the questions are redundant and if they just read each and every post's giving by you exclusively, their questions will have already been answered.

The question really is comprehension. I do understand IQ's vary and maybe some of our members need to take notes.
