    He didn't play it as a mechanical system. He utilised MC and LC events and didn't play a weighted SAP count which actually makes sense. I'm doing the same thing. Funny how no matter how far my game progresses, I seem to keep coming back to Norm's methods.

    He was spot on with his distaste for Negative Progressions. Think about it...Three players on BTC (including Norm) have hit the $1million plus mark and none use a NP... That should tell you something.

    This probably as far as I should take this on the Public Forum.

    I think that we should continue this thread but not here on Public forum. Since there is no mechanical system that can beat bacc and follow the shoe seems to be perfect solution, it would be great if someone that has deeper understanding of this method can give more advice.

  2. I have read all of Norm and PJ posts many times and they are gold, but there is not exactly how to play follow the shoe. There is one PJ post where he said that Norm played ZZ, R, LC, MC, OT and his favourite SS, when you look at all of this its something that we all know. Even Norm said that he is trying to keep his play simple stupid, but i think that there is very few person who knows how he really played it.

    I played a shoe with ANB yesterday EXACTLY according to the ANB rules.

    H10 -13 with a 6 bet due (to be fair...it won but that means your STOP/LOSS has to be -19 to make that bet)

    H22 -27 with a 7 unit bet due (which it also won...S/L -34...but then lost the following 5 unit bet which everything I know about Baccarat was screaming at me not to make but ANB says the bet had to be made)

    It really takes a special kind of system to get to -27 in 22 hands...

    H22...17 actual bets made...4 WINNING BETS!!!...FFS...I could get my dog to crap on my scorecard and do better than that...

    For those still considering purchasing ANB...Trust me...The purchase price is the least of your worries...Read my lips... "ANB IS A LICENCE TO LOSE MONEY"... Caveat emptor

    So saying...My mentor has discovered a way to make ANB work but at best it would give the worshipers of "He who must be adored" a huge headache...requires way too much thought for their feeble brains...LOL

    Maybe you didnt played right shoe

    I'm expecting Ellis's "attack dogs" (Disciples) to come at me hard. Good luck with that fellas...think long and hard, because I promise you...within 24 hours I will have ANB plastered over every gambling site on the Net.

    You know that I'm a vindictive old prick...and if I say it...I mean it.

    Relax...take it easy...don't get your knickers in a twist...you know Ellis will come up with another unloseable system in a few weeks.

    I dont know, does he really thinks after all this years playing baccarat with that great IQ that mechanical system that plays every hand can beat bacc easilly, or he knows that majority of peoples look for system like that ?

    Its interesting that when Ellis wants to show strenght of his new system he chose some easy shoe like 2112111311212 and he says look how s40 destroys it.

    Also he would starded it on hand 3 because already ad hand 3 he knows that its easy s40 shoe and he would play it with 678, and at the end of the shoe he would have like 1 million of units.

    P231111211321267

    Nice s40 spot, blip of otb4l and few repeat bets at the end, player side nothing more then 2s and bankar 3s...but not all shoes are like this

    I thought this shoe looked familiar...and now I know the reason...

    I checked my records and this is an actual shoe that I played in a "REAL" Casino with all the pressures associated with playing with real money hand by hand as distinct from playing a shoe on paper when you can see the whole shoe in front of you. I sent this shoe to a few BTC Members and someone obviously chose to post it on "Stats To Win"

    FIRSTLY...This is a PISS EASY shoe...Just about any Private Member of BTC beats this shoe playing OTB4L as a Mechanical System...but I don't play that way...I prefer to "Follow the Shoe" and let the Shoe dictate to me when and if  I should bet and how much I should bet.

    I mostly play with larger units but I chose to play this particular shoe with $500 units.

    I Flatbet single units and doubled my unit size when single side SAP agreed with my proposed bet once my score was positive.

    Let's compare what I actually did with your suggested Play using your negative progression...

    For the purpose of the exercise, let's assume that you are using $500 units as well.

    I use a STOP/LOSS of -3 units($1500) which using Norm's 10% of Bankroll rule, I require a Bankroll of a mere $15K to play with $500 units (10% of $15K = $1500 divided by my S/L of -3 = $500)

    YOU: Bankroll required to play $500 units = 2400x $500 = $1.2million

    ME: Bankroll required = $15,000

    YOU: Units won = 25 units x $500 =$12,500

    ME: Units won = 33 units x $500 = $16,500

    Number of Bets made...

    YOU = 55

    ME = 39

    Bets WON

    YOU = 28

    ME = 29

    Bets Lost

    YOU = 27

    ME = 10

    Units Bet...Risk

    YOU = 402 = $201K

    ME = 69 = $34,500

    Hit Rate

    YOU = 51%

    ME = 74%

    Player Advantage

    YOU = 6%

    ME = 48%

    Highest bet made

    YOU = 24 units x $500 = $12,000

    ME = 2 units = $1,000 (but only if my score is positive otherwise $500)

    Lowest point of the shoe

    YOU = -21 Units = -$10,500

    ME = -1 unit =-$500

    NOW...Do you see what I'm talking about?

    I'm not posting this to brag but in an effort to dissuade any of the intellectually impaired who might think that what you do can possibly work long term...because it won't. The RISK V REWARD just doesn't stand up to scrutiny...and also...Because I am a "People" Person by nature, I haven't given up hope that I may yet steer you away from the forces of "THE DARK SIDE".

    Anyway...My work here is done...After this post nobody with any detectable signs of alpha- brain wave activity is gonna be the slightest bit interested in your HIGH RISK/SMALL REWARD strategy.

    I'm guessing that you will totally ignore what I've said, but I have two further words of advice for you...

    PLEASE cease and desist keeping score on used lunch wrappers and FFS!!!...GO AND BUY YOURSELF A FREAKING RULER

    OK...I lied about me being a "People Person"...but I'm working on it.

    Oz

    Can you post this shoe in private section how did you played it.

    Thank you

  7. I also had one similar approach when i was just atarting to play. It was very good, in some short time i have won 5500 units...and that i hit 2 bad shoes and all that gone. Money menagement is nothing without bet selection, and if you have good bet selection you dont need more then 6 units stop loss.

    I am not en expert, i am still learning, but i can tell you that -400 units is suicide.

    Eventually you will hit that bed shoe.

  8. Hello guys

    New member here.

    I have question about what system to play.

    I see that every successful player here have its own way of playing, and like OZ said there is more then one way to skin a cat,and  i have question is it really matters what system do we play as long as we stay consistent with it.

    Also all of that successful members are mentioning DISCIPLINE all the time. And what discipline really is. Is it staying consistent with your system and playing it same way every time, respecting your SL and SW, and not chasing loses ?

    Is that why discipline is hardest thing to achive.

    Chosing one system is easy, but staying consistent with it even in the shoe when its losing, and not trying to chase loses is what really parts winners from losers.
