You know, this game is not about how you play your high cards. Everybody knows how to play their high cards. There are no options about how you play your 19's, 20's, and 21's unless you want to include some really stupid ways. No, what separates the men from the boys is how we play our LOW cards.

Basic Strategy can't help you here. In low cards Basic Strategy says give up and bet the dealer will break. We ALL know that the dealer is strongest in low cards AND breaks the least in low cards. Yet, when the dealer has a low up card, which is exactly what she gets in low card sections of the shoe, basic strategy says stand with less than 17. Why do you mindlessly follow that stupid rule? When you stand with less than 17 against a low up, you are actually betting one thing and one thing only. You are betting the dealer will break. WHY would you bet the dealer will break precisely when she is least likely to break? AND when she is least likely to break, so are you. The cards don't know who is dealing. Pretty darn dumb isn't it? Are you beginning to see why casinos LOVE Basic Strategy; why they give out basic strategy cards free. THAT'S THE WAY THEY WANT YOU TO PLAY.

Blackjack or more precisely, THE MONEY is about how you play your low cards. We are the best low card players in the business. That is why we so very very often find ourselves the only winner at the table. This happens to EVERY NBJ player much more than not. Or, you could march blindly on in a straight line, wear red, and play PERFECT Basic Strategy and lose perfectly.

Come on, get some smarts. Learn how to beat this game. It's not that hard. How much did you "invest" last time? I'll betya ours is a lot less. But don't believe me or even our pros. Ask a new member who was sitting right where you are sitting a couple of weeks ago.
