Yes, NOR is very different. NOR uses S40 only for the chopiest third of all shoes. It uses F for the streakiest third and OTB4L for the Neutral third. Yes, NOR is in the private forum under the thread The NOR Approach. Their is also a NOR Q and A thread in the private forum. A hard cover manual will be available shortly at about $795. But right now you can learn it by getting on the private forum either as a lifetime member at $500 or by buying the S40 manual. About $225 or whatever it is and then paying the $50 a month subscription dues. The best deal financially is the lifetime membership at $500.
