Some Newbie Question

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

just joined the NOR family.

pardon me but i did a search but cant find answers, maybe i am too much a newbie but can you guys kindly define the terms to me:

On average

1's occur 1 every 4 plays

2s = 1 every 8 plays

3s = 1 every 16 plays

4s = 1 every 32 plays

5s = 1 every 64 plays

6s = 1 every 2 shoes

7s = 1 every 4 shoes

8s = 1 every 8 shoes And so forth

what does this actually means ? the card results or the chances of these cards appearing ?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1234 = a goal of +10 units

234 = a goal of +15 to +20 units

345 = a goal of +20 to +30 units

I dont understand the meaning, is it to bet 1 unit then 2 units (if we win) then we 3 units (win again) eventually stopping at 4units?

Just wanna ensure I am learning and understanding the correct methods.

Thank you guys for the patience

It's known as the 50% Rule and pertains to the frequency of the results (B or P).

What's it's saying is that 1's (PBPBPB...) will occur twice as often as 2's (PPBBPPBB...) which will occur twice as often as 3's (PPPBBB...) in any given shoe - ON AVERAGE. So NOR is geared to strategically play with these occurances in mind.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1234 = a goal of +10 units

234 = a goal of +15 to +20 units

345 = a goal of +20 to +30 units

These are the recommended Win Goals for each betting progression level.

For 1234 you keep betting 1 unit until a loss then progress to 2, 3 and then 4 if needed. All bets go back to 1 unit upon a win.

Progressions 234 and 345 are used when the shoe you are playing is going well using 1234. You can "scale up" the betting to either 234 or 345 to capture a higher win. Just make sure it's a winning shoe and keep the -8 Loss Limit firmly in mind. NEVER fight a losing shoe - I've tried and 90% of the time it would have been better if I had left the table.

Just wanna ensure I am learning and understanding the correct methods.

Thank you guys for the patience

Hi everyone,

thank you for the warmly welcome, feels great to join the NOR family.

Just wanna share some ongoing ....

I have so far only learnt the S40 method and anxiety took the better me. off i went to the casino last night. was able to spot S40 tables, had a really good game, was +31units in 2 hrs ( i did double up bets for 3 consecutive bets occasionally). I left the casino a very happy man

however, yet again, i succumbed to GREED, went to the casino again today, with only knowledge of S40. Couldnt find any suitable table, tried playing, was down -20 units (i didnt use the martingale system). after 4 hrs, lost my 31units (my winnings) and another 5 units. very poor discipline i feel, i should have left when i was -8units.

wanna share this experience with all who just joined:

1 - read n understand the 3 systems before venturing into casino

2 - the S40 works very well in choppy plays indeed

3 - pls be disciplined ! stick to -8units when cutting losses

here i m, back in my room, reading up the NOR manual and going thru examples available in this forum

I hope the next time I post, it it will very positive units in my pocket :tongue:

At least you learned first-hand early on:

Just make sure it's a winning shoe and keep the -8 Loss Limit firmly in mind. NEVER fight a losing shoe - I've tried and 90% of the time it would have been better if I had left the table.

thanx for all the replies guys, appreciate.

5 days have since passed, i am familiar with all 3 NOR systems now. However, i am still hovering around my capital. I lost mainly when I am doing 123 4 progression and I got into the wrong mode.

So here I am, back to the forum to read more, to further improve. Should I study NOR+ or 4D 1st? Gurus please advise :rolleyes:
