  1. GolfGirl007,

I'm glad you brought up Online Casinos.

I would think the best way to put them to use is just to PRACTICE NOR.

It might not be such a good idea to play for real money as online

casinos have been known to be painfully slow returning one's

funds, in addition to current Internet Gambling legality issues in the

    States and so on.

However, practicing each component of NOR until it becomes second nature

would make one more efficient at the tables in brick-and-mortar casinos.

    Opinions welcomed.

I agree, Sakana. It is very helpful to use as a training tool. Also, GG, I would ONLY use live dealer sites for this practice. RNG is not what you will face in the casino and I feel it best to practice "real world" conditions whenever posible. I use Black Orchid as a practice tool, myself. Also, I do have a real money account with Betphoenix.

  2. TJ, am I reading you right? Are you saying Bogart had two shoes in a row with 8iars?

    Normal 8s are 1 in 16 shoes. I haven't seen 2 in a row in a couple decades. We usually don't even see 1 in 16.

You were definitely right to stay ON runs once on them at this casino.

But also, on another front, these are likely regular cards, not factory preshuffled. Can you confirm? Also are they using two different shoe colors? - playing one color while they shuffle the other? Can you tell?

I'm just trying to get a feel for what you are up against here. You played them extraordinarily well!

Saw a dream shoe last night of course all the tables were full.....

    Yeah, an S40M1 Dream!
  3. nice post cc,glad to see your on the positive, that took guts

Thanks moneybac, but it still looks as tho' RUEBEL still has an axe to grind with his prejudice remarks about the Canadian members of the forum.

And... Just for the record... We Canadians "Do pay" for our medical but it is true that it is at a fractional cost of what most Americans pay. Our medical is paid via taxes and reasonable premiums paid by all. The only exception is that those who are on welfare are given a free ride. The quality of our medical is extremely good, but the downside is the wait time for certain treatments as a result of waiting lists.

I have an American friend that pays over $1000/month for his medical coverage whereas my personal medical coverage in Canada is $64/month. A far cry from what he pays. I even have extended medical that costs me approx $100/month. As our regular medical coverage does not include all medical expenses.

And RUEBEL wants to speak about credibility?, perhaps he should get his facts straight before opening his mouth with incorrect information.

FACT: the Hoover dam was completed under budget and ahead of schedule as the result of being lead by a Canadian who was paid a $300,000 bonus at the time. I would bet that most Americans don't realize how often our two nations help each other out so often.

We are great nations side by side together and I know that Americans are proud of their country and who they are, and I am too... Proud to be a Canadian and not even RUEBEL can take that away from me.

4D is only as complicated as you make it, actually it's very simple and I have plenty of time to write my card as per while in live-play.

Please people, think outside of the box and you too can find a path to beating pre-shuffled cards.

FACT: pre-shuffled cards do have a bias, the difference is that it is of a shorter duration than what you see with regular cards. For most, it looks as tho there is no bias at all, but 4D will prove that wrong because 4D exposes the bias whereas NOR won't.

I use the 4D method day-in day-out, and accumulate 5 or 6 units on a regular basis. I have also tested so many shoes from the forum that members have trouble with and 4D beats them all. aLL!

Pre-shuffled shoes are different, but are manageable and I plan to play my method on my trip to Macau in November with confidence.

    4D Lives on.

    Great post, CC
  4. Agreed blurti, assuming these are the methods Ellis has in mind (has anything changed the last few days?)

Now what is needed is to have it all consolidated in one area so all info can be easily accessed -the Manual if you will.

Agreed! I understand that BaOTB4L is basically the same as BaS40 but with a OTB4L as the base instead of opposites, what I am waiting for is the tweeks that Ellis said were coming.

S4d - What to do About Runs Post #44 says...

Yes, several are asking me to do this already.

Right, It is OTB4L with the secodary prog applied to both ST and ZZ runs.

But unlike BaS40 which should only be played in shoes favoring a + OR count and therefore always bet the seconday prog Against straight runs.

BaOTB4L, like always, deals with BOTH ST and ZZ runs. AND it deals with BOTH + and - OR counts.

So it is significantly more complex than BaS40.

Jim, YOU would already know how to do this but I'll show you some tricks that help simplify it.

  5. I remember that the meatballs at Carmine's were the size of baseballs and Ellis and I split the plate and couldn't finish them. ( and Keith bought lunch)....but what does that have to do with Baccarat? I am losing you, Dave. ...where are you heading? And why not return my messages?

Members, you will benefit only after all posts like these stop.

All posts from anyone who either does not "see the points" or More probably sees them

    but has their agenda.

And i offered my only olive branch.

This time there needs to be real change in the discussion. Or everyone but myself loses out.

    WOW! Really?!
  6. By the wAy, did i mention that the first time i met mr D. About

TWO years ago, hed had on converse type sneakers and ate spaghetti and

meatballs for dinner. The meatballs were huge, he said.

  7. Ellis,

This is an excellent post and great explanation of 4d or s4d.

Our goal is to try to see which count is moving where because like you said one movement causes movement in others.

With a progression-it may not always win the 3bet but often it does. Getting to only +5 is very attainable.

Is +5 good enough per shoe? I believe so.

I agree, and that was a great explanation of the philosophy of the approach
  8. My take on it is IF that count IS the highest it will go up from there. Otherwise, another count will overtake it. Trying to get in on the high count run as it runs up. It may just be the high count at that point, not for the overall shoe

Could be sometimes blutri, but I've got actual shoes that prove otherwise. Again, NOT ALWAYS, but I have enough of them where betting the highest count reverses (or goes towards 0) per row for the next hand has worked like a charm.

    Can anyone explain why?

I guess we are looking at two different things, Quiz. You are looking at one bet and I am looking at overall direction. Maybe it will go towards zero for one bet, but the direction is more important to me. Just headed to five....not to hard to get there
