Monte, I too would be interested in a recording of the webinar. I know that the gotomeeting platform does allow the host to record the session. What do you think, Keith?
-
Actually I meant there is a typo (one says hit 13 or more and the other says hit 13 or less). But your answer makes me wonder, Are you saying we should be using Tripoint?

I have had NBJ for the better part of a year and never noticed that the PIT chart on page 58 and the PIT chart on page 67 dont agree on the weak dealer low credibility decision.

Such a tease, Chaz ..do tell!
-
Good luck with that. Be sure to come back and let us know how you did, and we will tell you exactly what E. Clifton Davis just said. We WIN here!
-
Sounds like a great arguement AGAINST casino use of pre-shuffled cards, all the better for us I say. Makes NOR better! And any casino that doesn't honor payouts doesn't deserve our business....
-
Thanks, Ellis...now how do I request my copy and how do I get logged into the private forum?
-
Two questions. Is the forum for those of us who have purchased the seminar, or for the hard copy purchasers only? Also, is the manual now available to seminar attendees, or will we receive it in Vegas? Thanx!

Good call, MVS. Very diplomatic...

You may want to bust him in the chops, but I want access to his library! ;-)

Ellis is spot on, the review is always welcomed! Dave, seeing you work through your difficulties helps the rest of us see this shoe from a different view. Thanks for posting and remember, Ellis says there are no stupid questions...and no one is left behind! Welcome!

Where can we send cards, flowers and well wishes?
-
Just noticed that course myself, kind of curious...

Great suggestion, Don!

As are we! The video posted of a younger Ellis got me primed for a more indepth study of BJ. Cant wait!

Webinars are cheaper for all, and less taxing on our instructor ...but I had great fun at AC!
-
I'm up for a seminar, and I too want to join the forum....have all three BJ books as well

The post on Kiddo and some recent thoughts of my own have prompted a new question. How does one set their unit size? At first blush, that seems to be an easy question but it entails some complex concepts. Is there a way of determining one's comfort level without sacrificing opportunity? When have we left the realm of professional play and entered the world of "gambling"? Am I playing for the "thrill" alone or am I enjoying "beating the casino"? How does one stay disciplined? I am hoping to pick the brains of some of the more senior players on this one....

One thing I like about Jerry's method is I can scan the OR column and see either a strong side or neutral OR count at a glance...
-
I see what he is doing, the col. to the right is the result of the col. on the left.(opposite vs. repeat) HE is playing the results i.e. Opposite vs. Repeat.

I agree with Jim, and if that post got you excited Jim, the discussion at the AC seminar had me SOLD! It will leave the casinos with no place to hide, when combined with NOR. Their only option now is factory preshuffled cards, and net betting will put them on the run...i would hate to miss out on that opportunity...
-
I for one would pay for the net betting/SAP idea discussed at AC!
-
I finally got a chance to review my videos from the AC seminar and just had to chime in. The section on net betting as it may relate to factory preshuffled cards was by far the most exciting aspect of the seminar. I can see so much potential there and i will be the first in line to add this update to my NOR repertoire. Im ready to sign up NOW! Also the first/second line betting was thought provoking, and Paul's tutorial on SAP covered all my questions in that area.
Top notch!

I SOOO got it now! I was counting the opposite and not the PLAY! In the Example Zebra gave I would be counting the Opposite from the B to the P as the start of the ZZ, when i should have counted the play ( as the start. I HAVE it now fellas, Thanx so much!
