  1. great answer Ellis. I appreciate you taking the time. It confirmed much of what was thinking already and now I'm confident that high stakes rooms are the way to go for many reasons. I typically prefer black chips, until I am able to move to higher units and it appears that I will be able to find plenty of high stakes rooms that will accept $2000 buy-in

Do u have any experience at Foxwoods? Do u have any thoughts on their high stakes BAC rooms?

  2. I've been to Foxwoods 2 times in the past, simply because it is close to a few clients of mine and somewhat convenient in that regard. With that said, I have only played Craps there. I am heading there next week, and will be playing NOR Bac for the first time at Foxwoods.

I noticed several folks on our board have played there, so I was hoping I could get some clarification.

    1) Do these casinos have big bac and mini? If so, which do most of you decide to play and why?

    2) Which Casino do you use to play Bac? MGM, Rainmaker, etc? Or do you try to hit all of them? Any insight into the best ones to try out is appreciated.

    3) Has anyone played Bac in their high limit areas? What were your thoughts on it?

    4) Based on your experience, time of day, and Casino selected in the Foxwoods, how did their shoes play out for you? Meaning...OTB4L, S40, F, etc....

Thanks gang....I appreciate the advice from everyone :)

  3. What should your unit bet amount be, before you decide to play in a High Limits Bac area/room?

Is there a certain rule of thumb regarding buy-in amount?

If you play Black Chips, meaning wagers might be $100, $200, $300 in a 1, 2, 3 progression, is that sufficient?

Do people find playing in the high limits area is preferred, or do most folks prefer the regular floor area, since there typically are a ton more tables to select from?

Just trying to get an idea of general parameters and which area might be best for playing NOR...better dealers? Less crowded? Faster games?

    Thanks

  4. Hi Team, new to the group ! :)

I am a newbie, but have read the NOR manual and NOR boot camp manual several times. Plus, I've watched the Video #1 of NOR Boot Camp training. With that said, next step is beginning my practice, practice and more practice, right?

So far, one thing that scares me a little is designer shoes popping up. It's possible that I don't fully understand the concept.

At what cities or Casinos have members seen designer shoes? Is this trend increasing? Do people think we'll eventually see these at every casino across the country?

    Does Vegas use these regularly?

Just trying to avoid getting into these nasty shoes if possible and understand the depth of the issues with them.
