Audionut
Was at the Meadows casino Saturday afternoon around 5pm. The place was PACKED. Parking garage (5 stories) was full. They advertise on their website that they offer baccarat. I looked and finally found the mini-bac table. It was EMPTY although the LCD monitor showed the results of the last played hand (was turned on).Again, with the casino extremely busy, most other table games packed 2 deep with people, I couldn't believe the mini-bac table was abandoned. I found a pit boss. Asked him if they were going to open up the table. He said maybe in a couple of hours. WHAT?? He said that they don't get a lot of people playing mini-bac. I said why not, it's the best game in the house? He just laughed and turned his back to me. Took my $500 buy in and left.Hard to believe a major casino at the prime hours of the week would ignore this game. I can only hope a floor manager or someone that works there sees this and let the powers that be know how much money they are giving up by letting that table sit empty. Users ECD Posted February 16, 2011 Users Report Share Posted February 16, 2011 Well at least you know you'll probably see new cards at 7PM. Often if you say to the Pit Boss: " If you open the table I'll buy in at $500 and get the game going for you." That usually works.
