Guest CarlosM
Hi everyone. Collette and I stopped in Niagara Falls this weekend and took a peek inside both casinos. Casino Niagara and Casino Fallsview. For Casino Niagara, things have realy changed since I last played there in 2007. They no longer have any Bacarrat tables. They now only have a few blackjack tables, so now table selection is out the window. But now for Casino Fallsview, wow! Still many 8 deck games. And some continuous shufflers. Over 30 blackjack tables. Even on a Saturday afternoon, most tables had 2 or 3 players in a game. Many head to head games available. Also, new cards throughout the day. Morning most tables open. Afternoon, more new cards on more new tables, night also. Many new tables with new cards has dealer standing for an hour before someone plays! Great conditions and plenty of table selection. Even for Saturday afternoon and evening. I will drop in there during week mornings to give you all more update.

Perhaps because of Poker competition. A much bigger percentage of beatable tables today and less casino heat. 8 deck hand or machine is still my favorite game. Good games stay stable longer. Glad to see it's still around. But alas, not in Tunica. Strangely, in Tunica, 2 deck is the best game.Empty tables with a dealer just standing there is a good sign of excellent conditions. Guest CarlosM
Turning stone also has 2 deck blackjack games. Here in Canada, Niagara, we still have 8 deck hand shuffled and shuffle master 8 decks shuffler that shuffles two 8 decks. One red and one blue. So no down time there. They also have shuffle master 2onesix continuose shuffler. High stakes room they have 6 deck hand shuffled. Casino Rama in Orillia same thing. Table selection at Niagara are excellent. Average players per table is usually 3 or 4. Many tables usually have 1 or 2 players. Many times after a wash when new cards are introduced he/she usually stands there half hour or more. Not enough people play bj. Head to head 8 deck bj with new cards here is great! I think we have the best conditions and easiest cards to beat here. God love them old fashioned bastards! daytrader77459
Hi, CarlosM,For new cards - do you play heads up using primarily Basic strategy (since probably less clumped)? Do you use neg progression or low/high advantage betting?Do you sit 3rd base? How long do you play for? By a certain profit target? Or in case of bad luck, by a certain stop loss? Thanks for the details!Daytrader77459
Guest CarlosM
New cards some times I play head to head and sometimes with players. Here they will produce first base type games with new cards for a few days. Sometimes weeks. Then they will produce closer to random for days or weeks. I just adapt to their changes. But I still test the waters at table minimum flat bets. ALWAYS!!!!!
