lets you double down and split.... For free

free split any pair{except for 10 value cards}

free double on any two card 9,10,or 11

dealer busts with 22-all remaining bets are a push!

Does anyone have any opinion.thanks ruebel

I understand they are also going back to hand shuffle - no machines - which is good.

But be careful of these new rules until we know exactly what they mean.

For instance a free double: That would be the same as not doubling but if you say double you only get one card - so it could actually work against you.

Be careful. I don't yet see how these new rules can actually help you. But also I see no reason you can't play standard BJ.

Sounds like a BJ promotion stunt but I like the idea of no shuffle machines - like the old days.

What do they mean "all remaining bets are a push"? What if you won???

You have brought up a good point ellis.I am not sure if a win is a win.In all of your years playing blackjack does a dealer bust more times with 22 than any other number?I think i will take a trip there on sunday with the wife.ruebel

No, he actually breaks more with 23 or more than with 22.

It sounds to me like a casino scam. I hope they are not doing that at every BJ table! I would definitely boycot any table with those new rules.

They must think we are completely stupid.

Read my thead on Blackjack Plus and its pretty much the same thing as what they have done in Australia.

Anything under $50 tables are Blackjack plus where all bets are a push if dealer gets 22

Here they pay you 3 / 2 if you hit a 22 (might have to be 5 card total too)

I think Australia must have the worst conditions in the world as they have all been 6 deck CSC for years.

Theres just no competition here so they can get away with it - where else are you gonna go with only 1 casino in most states?

Guess if you play the high limit tables then it doesnt affect you but thats rough on people like me starting out.

Hmm, I found early on that I couldn't afford to play the low limit tables in Atlantic City. They weren't fixed in the same way but nevertheless highly rigged. Do I stuck with the high limit rooms where I could win every day.
