  1. Thanks for the encouragement. I will devote every free waking minute to studying. Should have gone to college to major in NOR.
  2. So I know how to do an OR count (a miracle in itself considering math was never my strength), and I'm refining my ability to identify the shoe bias, I just need some clarification on a few things after reading through some more threads. Please correct me where I'm mistaken. 1. Is there a glossary of terms? 2. Are modes 2 and 3 backup for when regular betting in S40, F, and OTB4L starts to go south? Sometimes I'll see a post saying starting a system in mode 2 or 3. I thought modes 2 and 3 were for when you start losing, then revert back to original system. What am I missing here? 3. I'll have an explanation of the modes next to me and I lose 8 hands in a row. When I try correcting (because obviously I'm in a wrong mode, though I won't know why) I just make things worse. How do I go about remedying this? There is sure to be more questions on the way. I'll probably be very slow to learning this. I thank you for your patience in advance.
  3. I had 10 banks in a row. I was unsure of how to shorthand document it so I just spelled the number out. Later I had 9 players. I played that whole sequence betting 1 unit at a time. This was a very strong F shoe. Now would be a good time to learn progression betting.
  4. I tried another go at a live online casino and went up 22 units by hand #40. I was doing so well and I put my stop at +20 and left with +22. I may have only tried 2 shoes with this approach but I'm up 30 units. Also, keep in mind I have no idea how or when to do the progression betting. This method is a work of genius. Here is the shoe. 5. Funny thing just happened. I start playing on a live online casino to mostly practice my OR counting and get used to the process. Keep in mind I have just a rudimentary idea on the betting systems, not a clue on the modes for each of the systems, and no idea on where, when or how to do progressive betting. I just went through a shoe, identified the bias, and changed the system when I saw the bias change. It was a mostly neutral shoe with some F. I ended up ahead 8 units and I was just winging it on progressive betting (never more than 3 units at a time), and no idea on modes. Just followed the OR count. Couldn't be easier. I'm so glad this is the first place I'm learning baccarat from. I'm 25 and hopefully I'll have a long, profitable career ahead of me.
  6. Hello all, newbie here. Can someone explain to me what it means to bet OTR? I know it means on the run, but what exactly does it entail? I'm sure that knowing this will make understanding modes a lot easier.
  7. Wow thanks for the recommendations. I should be getting NOR in a week or so. I'd like more opinions on Bac or Bj though. Thanks for your input, very helpful.
  8. Thanks for the response. I'm leaning more toward NOR. What other ways other than "live online dealer" are there? What kind of online play should I play and what to stay away from? If you have specific recommendations I'm all ears.
  9. Hello all. I was wondering which manual to get first, baccarat or blackjack? I have experience in the casino in blackjack (yes as a loser) but none with baccarat. I'm willing to do a reboot on everything I know about blackjack because let's face it, what I know doesn't work. Would it be more beneficial to just start out playing baccarat the NOR way? Also, does NOR work in online casinos and simulated games like my baccarat app? Thanks for your time.
