Brad I agree with you if we switch, we end up losing to 2iar which occurs more often, or at least often enough. Perhaps the answer may lie within the progression. Perhaps we also need a third bet and perhaps a larger stop loss.

I played 26 shoes over the weekend at the Rock. Both high limit and non high limit rooms. I didn't play mdb, and I'm glad I didnt.
It lost in 14 of 26 shoes on the 124 progression.
I saw 8 2s before as 3, I saw 6 3s before a 4 over and over. But I know this about my home casino already.
I can post the shoes if you'd like. I tried the 2hi on these shoes and it didn't fair as well either....got stomped out early on 3s....
I say this because I think having local casino knowledge is important

Thanks everyone for your input. I think this topic is so key to having successful trips. It just seems to me that I win more stopping at 5? Maybe it's all in my head?

i started this thread and not sure where the best folder is for this.
I'm now playing a different bet selection model.
We know about patience and bankroll. Also guidance and GREAT discipline.
So now I pose this question for debate.
I like to play to 5+ commish or -6 and commish. Either one hits and I'm off to the next shoe. I never record or stay to watch to see what ifs.
If I try to play the half decade rule I end up leaving at plus 3 more times than I go to plus 8 or more....so I sorta look at 5 to exit the shoe.
Now I play often so the thought of me just playing one long continuous shoe in my lifetime is certainly noted; I look at hitting plus 5 as a way to color up long term.
So am I short changing myself by this method? Thoughts?

Ok way you'll love this being a fellow golfer. I was at the rock last night high limit room and this pga golfer sits down next to me-he's playing in the Doral this weekend. So he's joking with dealer and pitboss and I say to him rough outing today huh he says yeah so I think I'm funny so I say perhaps you should be on the driving range and he looks at me and says no offense but I saw your last 2 bets perhaps you should be on the baccarat range. I said good one and bought him a beer

Just curious if Ellis or anyone can answer this for me?
In the long run, how many events are allocated to 4s or less?
Meaning if I add up all the 1s 2s, 3s and 4s what should that amount to? Is it 87.5% are 4s or less?

Hey way....I can tell you enough to get in trouble lol......I play at the hard rock ft. Lauderdale.....where the weather is a crisp 76 with sunny skies....for the last 3 months....lol.....the rock just remodeled the high limit room and I would put it up against any vegas high limit room....there are tons of smoke free lol tables and 5 private rooms that lead to 2 more private rooms......it is elegant and well kept......needless to say paid for by all the local winners lol....now that wS funny....

Ellis talked about updating us on this but as of late he still hasn't....way has been so giving of his time to help out with this method..........I'm still waiting to hear from him as he said he would expound on how to win sap both ways like what norm did......ellis mentioned it but never completed it

I really like the up and pull regression method using 2123 etc....allows you to lock in some profits....not to shabby when going for 6 per shoe

I'm going to teach you BOTH ways - Equalization vs Dispersment.
We will usually be playing Dispersment - unless we are in Vegas
But there are times.....
SO, we need to know BOTH ways.
But it is easy - as you will soon see.

I know that the Seminole Hardrock gives me a form to fill out anytime I'm cashing over $9999. Per day regardless of where it came from...usually they ask me where I was playing and verify it with the pitboss....so I learned how to cash out over a period of several days....
But if the goal is to become part of the 10% , how do we best handle this aspect of the game....
What did Norm do when he won routinely in the high limit rooms?
Wonder what advice Ellis and others have for us on this topic.....

Ultimate Net Betting does win a lot of shoes. This weekend I'll be at the Tampa Hard Rock and I am going to use an up as you win 3-step, 2 Hi Progression 1-2-2 on repeats only and 1-2 on chops.
After winning and completing the 3-step series you're up 5 units. Then, you start the series over again.
If you win the first 1-2 units and lose the third 2-unit bet you gained 1-unit. You then, start over again.
Hi FrontAl and everyone- just curious does anyone know using a 3 step up as you win progression 1-2-2 , what do we do if we win the 1 and loss the first 2? Thanks, I'm just curious how to best use this.

Hey Guys,
Been looking at this new system of play and testing a few things on paper. This new system works fine on almost any type of shoe except when a lot of 2's are together. So maybe a good trigger to switch to OTB4L is when there has been 2 confirmed 2's. Then maybe switching back to Ultimate when 2 other events are confirmed.
Also, I'm thinking that 1-1-2-3 progression may work well and looking at least a +10 units as a goal. I will continue to test this with the shoes I have to see the results I get. If anyone wishes to also try this and comment, it would help.

Actually I was just trying to figure out what bet Phoenix is doing because 2 years ago they didn't show two different shoes on the same table.

What is going on with bet phoenix? I'm looking at the live feed now and they are using 2 decks. A blue and a red. They are still playing an 8 deck shoe? I'm a little confused. Or are the decks completely different shoes?
Sometimes they are the same, sometimes they are different. Sometimes they change color right before your eyes.....look closely cause the magic is right before you.......one time the Players at the table were yelling for a monkey and sure as hell the card turn right into a monkey.....it jumped at the cocktail waitress in a thong....

I have played Tampa, it's nice but small high limit room. I haven't tried mdb there yet, but I will review it over the summer when I'm there.
