Quizzical,
Not a stupid question by any stretch of the imagination. I"ve been running with a "test" version of what you've described which amounts to BaS40M3 and it's performing nicely.
The fact that so many have "looked" at it (M3) shows that we're all basically coming up with some pretty good ideas once we run the whole idea of "+5" through our usual channels.
As Ellis pointed out, being able to handle the 1,2,3 stuff under M3 makes up about 87% of the decisions.
Thanks for bringing it up and showing me that I'm in good company with the M3 thought process.
MVS
Mvs what I see is we need to use a 123 prog for recovery and I'm not sure what the second prog should
-
Ellis what if we used our first prog say 123 then if we lose the 3 then we start our secondary prog?
I see too many shoes testing this with the first 3 winning and helping us to recover the initial 12 loss

Privately I've been testing a ton of shoes using s40m3. See for me I like the 3 methods but I could not figure out which system to use when. Starting a shoe with a predetermined method was not working. Then I saw djbacc success and started testing it. It did the best overall over basobt4l and bas40.
This was using just a 1,2,3 prog then Otr after a 3 loss. Just like dj played it.
But when I apply a prog in a prog, it became difficult to over come the loss of the 1.2 bets when the third bet is a 0 whereas dj uses a 3 for a recovery. Perhaps our prog in a prog should not be 0123 but maybe 3456?

Ellis-so when we are at a table, how long do we wait till we start betting one of the three methods?
-
So he plays for three chop then follows a streak after. A 3rd loss on chop correct?
-
Is he using a progression like 123 or u1d2?

bigcash, basically (there's that word again) the only reason we have 3 +5 systems is because you won't always be playing against new preshuffled cards. Sometimes you will be playing against old preshuffled cards and other times against normal cards. I'm trying to give you a way to beat everything you might come up against, all inclusive in the +5 strategy. See, I won't always be teaching NOR players and I don't want to make NOR a prerequisite. I want +5 to be a complete, all inclusive, stand alone approach that can take on all comers under ANY circumstances. I won't be happy until then.
Plus, I don't know yet which system we will be playing predominently. Mathematically I'm guessing BaOTB4L. But I also know you guys pretty darn well at this point. I'm thinking 90% of you will take the easy out just like Ann and I did and stick to BaS40 because it is the easiest to play and it wins so frequently. Sometimes that one extra unit just isn't worth all the extra effort. Staying power is super important when your goal is a million dollars. Look at NORM fcol - One Two buckle my shoe - wake me when it's over.
Does anyone know what the rules are for BaOTB4l????
Im guessing it is like BaS40 played in m1 as well?
-
Ellis.....I think I too was screaming about the preshuffled shoes down here in FLA......add me to the list of people seeing it.....lol .....nothing like Gold Coast...seems PARX may be just like Gold Coast shoes...no matter +5 with 3 systems will kill em here....so ready to go
Yes I paid twice...

Spot on blue....but give it to hamster he doesn't stop trying
-
Mike, best of luck to you as you move back up the progression! Sorry to hear about the set-back, but the road to success is never a straight line.
So very true way....mike hang in there and knock them stupid
-
Hi Ellis,
To me, it's the same thing but maybe I'm just confused. I start net betting 1,1 on hand #8. My progression is 1,2 then 1,3 then 1,4 and I go back to 1,1 after each win. If I lose the 1,4 (3 unit bet) I flat bet the run until I lose. But it's the same as betting opposite whatever happened on hand 8 with a 1,2,3 prog.
Here are my updated rules:
(my rules have since been modified. I plan on posting them soon).
Jaybird could u please post your new set of rules

Well said...
I had one big loss last year when I first started playing.
I was betting harder and harder against a repeat shoe... What a disaster...
Hamster
Do yourself a favor and join the BTC family and learn the approach and how to see shoes. Most of us make the investment back on one night.
I was once like you but sometimes you have to take a leap of faith to grow...

Stop pretending your stuff is that valuable!!!
???Thief??? A friend never gave you a CD or book to read? You’re being ridiculous. But what else is new? No worries Davis, I play my own way and collect systems for fun. I have no interest in disseminating your stuff. I seldom even bother to do more than skim over them.
My point was not about 4D but since you bring it up. This is one of the worst you have ever conjured up. Why? It is unnecessarily complicated. The casinos let us have paper and pencil for a reason. Many even post the popular charting Roads on a screen. Here is why in a nutshell: NO AMOUNT OF CHARTING WLL ALLOW THE PUNTER TO PREDICT MORE WINS THAN LOSSES!
Of course it is best to have a strategy (bet placement and money management) but wasting your time charting 8 columns is just about the dumbest thing you ever came up with – next to “Twister†and “Anti-Twister.†Those were super dumb.
Don’t get me wrong. There is some value in ALL strategies. It’s a free country and you have every right to sell system after system and the consumers can buy them or not. Makes no never mind to me. I find it all very humorous.
Oh please let me be the first to respond to bake
1. I find that you coming on to the forum as a guest who hasn't joined to learn to solely bash the approaches to be a joke- yes I'm laughing at you
2. My 16 out of 19 +5 shoes using 4d are laughing at you too
3. Your remarks without knowledge they help us laugh at you.
4. As kdawg would say I am happy playing my way and I'm not moved by your remarks.
5. I am not moved by your propaganda, but find extreme humor in your use of the word punter.....
You may go back to your hole now troll, you're dismissed
-
Jay bird are you still using this approach? If so have you modified any of your rules?
Thanks

I don't think there are "enough" shoes to guarantee long term success , and the fringe benefits are lousy. anyway.
Never quit you day job, or find one that you can live with.
The amount of shoes doesn't determine if you can play long term or not...it is the discipline to win, the discipline to say todays is not my day, the discipline not to go all in while losing and trying to chase.....
-
General question for everyone...
How many shoes must you play before you can determine if you are a long-term winning player or losing player in Bacarat?
For example:
Let's someone starts playing Bacarat and attempts to learn or develop their own system.
They play 2 to 3 times a week and probably go through 10 to 15 shoes a week.
Next, 3 months goes by and they are up $8000 betting $25,50, and $75 progression.
They decide at this point to quit their job and play full time... only to find out...etc...
I imagine this has happened to many people in the gambling world...especially poker players.
Hey Hamster, Have you become a member yet???
Do yourself a favor, like most of us have, become a member and start learning.....besides most of us recouped the membership the first night or so in the casino.....food for thought
-
The lack of being able to use table in my opinion is what makes 4d so very powerful... Perhaps we need to revisit 4d with the +5
-
Yeah, an S40M1 Dream!
and get this...there were people betting AGAINST this........I said to the one guy...can you please get up so I can have your seat...it would save you money.....one guy went in table max twice and still lost......
-
CC,
Are you able to give a more direct hint to how 4D helps to exploit the short bias on pre-shuffled shoes using a 2Hi bet system. To me, filling up the 4D data during the casino play is very easy and fast. The question is that I am still unable to see a logical reason to exploit its advantage.
Tanpohh
Tanpohh,
It's quite easy to do...start with the counts of the 4d then look at the shoe...you will see it....look for how it curves into the shoe
-
TJ, am I reading you right? Are you saying Bogart had two shoes in a row with 8iars?
Normal 8s are 1 in 16 shoes. I haven't seen 2 in a row in a couple decades. We usually don't even see 1 in 16.
You were definitely right to stay ON runs once on them at this casino.
But also, on another front, these are likely regular cards, not factory preshuffled. Can you confirm? Also are they using two different shoe colors? - playing one color while they shuffle the other? Can you tell?
I'm just trying to get a feel for what you are up against here. You played them extraordinarily well!
Saw a dream shoe last night of course all the tables were full.....

Sorry but You can not track just 2 columns like p/b and 0/r you need at least 4 biases or at least 8 columns to be tracked to see any biases
Cc
I stand corrected and yes you are correct....not all columns are required to expose a bias with 4d.
I misunderstood that comment.
-
Would you have played with OTB4L or F and not S40 that I selected?
GG,
There is an abundance of 2s that showed up around play 15...might be a sign to start playing otb4l or at least monitor it for the time being... but that's easy to say after the shoe has been played and its all exposed.
-
Tracking 2columns gives me 4 biases but tracking 4 columns gives me 8 not sure how I can be wrong on that
You can see more biases with 8 not 4
A stupid question....

I agree.
I think his advice to wait till the first chop to begin is the best way to start..this seems to work the best for s40m3 then we should use the 123 0123 for sure....but I just hit on something else I've notice with the or counts...
