  1. Since I joined this forum I've been asking for posted score cards with play by play explanations. Just think it makes more sense to teach this way and will hopefully make things easier for you to Ellis.
  2. Ellis, I'm sure we all appreciate your explanation here with your post about the columns, net betting... etc, but I think a posting of an actual played out score card of a shoe with all the columns filled out from the start would help us understand greatly. If you could, please do a play by play from the start of a shoe going through hand by hand showing us how to follow all the column's, when in the shoe you start and stop net betting a certain column and why. When in the shoe you start and stop SS betting a certain column and why. And vice versa as the shoe goes along. Like I said Ellis your explanation is greatly appreciated but I think an actual score card fully filled out with play by plays along with your explanations would help us visualize better what you're trying to explain. Explanations and sentences of how we should play is great but the score card should be used as a simple teaching tool for us. I hope you or Keith can please post a shoe or two to help us all. Thanks.
  3. How long is the video or the videos? Also can you give us a general table of contents of what you covered that day from start to finish? I know it's 4D but can you be a little more specific? Do you go through actual shoes filling out score cards giving play by plays on the video? Thanks.
  4. Ellis, is there a set number with the disparities that we go SS betting? Is it 4, 5, 6? At what disparity do we net bet? When is it "in jail"? Is "jail" a disparity of -3 to 3 or is it something different? Also what if the disparity fluctuates between being in jail and SS every other hand?
  5. Ellis, Can you please post your score card filled out with your entries for 4D with this shoe? Reading your comments on the 9iar and other plays are confusing to figure out. Would like to see it explained on a score card with play by play please. Thanks.
  6. Kach, Can you please post a score card of a shoe using 4D and incorporating the "twist" on it to see it in action with play by play. You may want to post it in the private section. I think it would help everyone. Thanks.
  7. Just wanted to say thanks to Ellis and Keith for the informative webinar on the NOR basics. It helped a lot and I like the fact that you used score cards to play out and explain the different systems. Makes things a lot easier to follow and understand. I just wish there were more sample score cards on the forum with play by plays for each system to study. Thanks again.
  8. Thanks Lou, I did see those examples from that thread earlier. It's a good start and helps me visualise what to do but I would really like to see more examples. Would you have some you could share with me? Thanks.
  9. Thanks Ellis and Glenn for the replies. I really appreciate it. This helps but as I mentioned I learn a lot better from example. Could you guys please send me some sample score cards filled in with NOR that I could look over and study hand by hand. I know the light bulb will come on when I can see shoes actually played out on a card. The more cards the better. Even bad ones to see when not to play. Thanks again
  10. Hi all, I'm a new member and I'm sure you've heard this before but I'm just really confused and frustrated. I've gone over the manual more then a few times and its sinking in... but very slowly. The main things of confusion are: 1) at what point of the OR count (-2, -4, +3, +5) from the beginning do I decide which system to use? 2) is S40 at +2 or +3 or +4?, is F at -2 or -3 or -4? Is there a standard number we jump in at? 3) once we commit to a system and we see the OR count changing, when do we switch systems? Is there a standard range to switch at? 4) the other confusion is Modes and how to use them and how to switch between the different modes during a shoe. Like I said I've read the manual and I know the answers for these questions are in there but I'm not a good learner from just "reading" rules. I'm a visual learner and need to see the rules explained in action on a score card for me to comprehend them. Can you guys please send me some sample score cards with notes showing OR count, what system used and modes used and where used. The more cards the better. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
