Online Casino Bonus Strategy
mookie replied to Josh K's topic in BeatTheCasino.com Q and A Baccarat and Blackjack
My humble advice is stay as far away from Bonuses as you can. I've told the story before but I'll give a brief summary: On MyBookie, played Baccarat and built up a couple of hundred into several hundred. Decided to bet on NFL. Used bonus money and won. I was warned by @W84it not to do it but I didn't understand. Well, I attempted to withdraw some money and they wouldn't allow it. Not one red cent! They said I had to "satisfy" the rollover requirement before taking any money out of my account. The requirement was that I had to put into action $3,000 to be able to withdraw my money. AND, I had to bet on sports. So, I figured out how many days and how much money per day I had to put in action to either lose it all or get some money back. It took me a month betting on NBA, College basketball and some hockey, about $100 a day to end up having a balance of a little over $300 when I had finally satisfied the rollover requirement. I immediately withdrew all of my money, basically breaking even, feeling like I beat 'em. The rules are on their website but hard to understand for a newbie. Bottom line, bonuses sound great but make sure you know the rollover requirements so you can actually get your money if you win. And other Casinos might have different rules so find them, read them and understand them! -

Thanks for writing this Eric. It's not easy to explain things like this and you made it very easy to understand the concept. We all appreciate you! -

Reading the scoreboard

I think the document Kevin is talking about is the one I'm uploading here - you should be able to download it: Derived Roads.docx -
Very insightful Eric. Thank you for spending the time and effort on all of the "positive" outcome based features as well as the "not so positive" features. I don't think most of us realize how the process works and you SHOULD be getting a big pat on the back. Thanks again, mookie

Honest on line casinos
mookie replied to Scooter's topic in BeatTheCasino.com Q and A Baccarat and Blackjack
I haven't had any issues with My Bookie, Just Bet or Bovada or Stake.com. Each has there own policies about withdraws, limits, etc. It's more a matter of how you fund your account and how you take money out. But unless I can witness the "behind the scenes" activity, I can't say for sure whether or not they're "honest". My overall philosophy is why would they risk cheating? Technical issues aside, it doesn't make sense to me that any casino...online or otherwise, would need to cheat. People beat themselves way more often than not so why would they? Anyway, as to issues with usernames and such, I would contact customer service. Mookie -
Legend and meaning

You're welcome. I'm not sure what you mean by mid April updates. I have no plans to do anything, updates or otherwise, in the middle of this month. -

Oh, I see. You're referring to the App in both cases but one is on a device and the other is on a computer. Neither one is faster than the other. When I'm at home and online, I use the computer because I have two screens and it's easier for me to see and navigate. Obviously, in a casino, using a device (phone or tablet) is the only choice. -

Covered Calls and Cash Secured Puts
mookie replied to XDN's topic in BeatTheCasino.com Q and A Baccarat and Blackjack
That's good to know. The thing I always run into though, is sorting through the "possible" candidates. In your spreadsheet, you have over 100 on the Call sheet and over 300 on the Put sheet. That's a lot of research unless your Think or Swim scan narrows it down to a manageable number to follow and actually invest. Don't really want to go too far off track here but I do like the fact that you're presenting this information and tools. Thanks again, Mike -
Covered Calls and Cash Secured Puts
mookie replied to XDN's topic in BeatTheCasino.com Q and A Baccarat and Blackjack
Thanks Eric...very interesting! Years ago, I attended a "seminar" on how to trade equities and at the end, they were selling their software that filtered out the "best" buying and selling opportunities. They wanted A LOT of moola so I went home and created a spreadsheet that basically did the same thing. I had to enter everything by hand so I didn't pursue that...but in my research, I found a company that has an amazing filtering algorithm and so I subscribed to that service. It's called StockFetcher and is very robust. Anyway, I've been interested in Options for many years and will check out your spreadsheet. Mike -
Baccarat Chat with Kachatz1
mookie replied to Keith Smith's topic in BeatTheCasino.com Q and A Baccarat and Blackjack
Goodness gracious Nate...I just saw this while looking for something else. I'm sure you know by now that I wasn't there but I will be there this month (February) next week...coming in on the 17th. I recently started following you so I should see your posts pop up in my email from now on. Thanks... -
Highly unlikely. The "swarms" would have to be tens of thousands of players causing the casinos to "notice" a significant drop in Baccarat revenues over a period of time. And connect an even higher unlikely situation where all those players are staring at a phone or tablet and an even higher unlikely possibility that the casino cameras can identify the BTC App as being the reason all of these tens of thousands of players are winning. I know I'm being a little sarcastic and I don't intend on being a smart ass because the forum promotes open discussions and welcomes all questions. That being said, whenever we talk about whether or not something we do or have somehow creates an advantage in a big way, I encourage a drive down the Las Vegas strip. The casinos know the mindset of a typical gambler and they're not using an App. This is my opinion, of course.

Vegas Grind Money Management System
mookie replied to Vegas Grind's topic in BeatTheCasino.com Q and A Baccarat and Blackjack
I agree with Scott. Whether we call it a "system", "methodology", "program" or whatever, it's a set way to play where we think we can be profitable. All "ideas" are welcome. The thing about this forum though, is that most of the profitable players use more than one "system", based on the shoe being played. As you read some of the threads, this is obvious. So please post your system. We're always open minded and anxious to see how others are profitable. -
This is key, IMHO. At least for me, if I lose a couple of units, it changes my mindset. It's harder to play with a clear head. If all you think about is how to get back to even, you might start betting higher and chase your losses. This rarely works. I've actually made a trip to Vegas, lost 4 units the first shoe and stopped betting the rest of the trip. Maybe come back home early. That was a drastic move and that was a while ago, but we really need to take breaks and be smart. And unless you were just paying attention to what I was doing, you wouldn't notice that I'm in a slump and taking a break.

Very well said! And I for one would be in the camp that says you're an excellent teacher/instructor/mentor. That's because it's obvious you care about helping us find our path. Your words of wisdom don't fall on deaf ears. I agree, you have to believe in yourself above all else!
