Users Bluewing Posted November 5, 2009 Users Report Share Posted November 5, 2009 Hi everyone,I am new to this forum and would appreciate any advice or comments. I use a non-counting strategy playing head to head "practise mode" on Bodog. I emailed them asking if there was any difference in the way the cards were generated between "practise" and " real". They stated the RNG being used was the same. I have currently won 25 out of 35 sessions using the same $amount for my stop loss and my stop win. WWWWWWW
Hi, Why are you using an Casino ? I use Martin Silverthorne's Neural System.. His Neg. Progression has 32 steps ...but I only use the first four-steps on each line. ....thus, it is very close to Mr. Davis's progression :A...5,8,13,21,35,50,75,100B...10,16,26,40,65,105,175,275C...15,25,40,65,105,175,275,425D...25,40,65,105,175,275,425,725 The B,C and D lines are "Recovery Gane " lines....recover all line 'A' losses and revert to line 'A' betting. I started with +$130.00 real loot using a Playtech Software online Casino ....Google them for thier current Casino's....and drove it to ove + $3,300.00 using the above table. The checks are good....drawn out of a bank of the Island of Cypruss and payable through Citi Bank in NYNY. I cashed them in Ca. You can not do any better than using the page with the 10 BJ tips....ONLY PLAY ON NEW CARDS AND ALONE. I have not lost a day in the last 14 trips to the local Indian Casino using new 6:00AM cards ! They are now lowering the 10.00 min. tables to 5.00 when I sit down....very greedy ......the local BJ players do not win ...they dump to the Casino...sad.WWWWWWW

Users Bluewing Posted November 12, 2009 Author Users Report Share Posted November 12, 2009 WWWWWWW,Thanks for the post. As to why I am testing my strategy on bodog; First I want to see if I can come up with a winning Blackack strategy against an online casino (using an infinite deck). I plan to play 100 actual sessions on-line using a 6 deck basic strategy. Obviously it is the betting strategy that is the key. If the results are favorable I will then look at a software program for further testing and fine tuning. I have done this extensively for Baccarat and have been unable to find a strategy that works over the long term. Certain conditions have to be available such as a maximum bet = 30 x minimum bet which Bodog has. To date I have won 29 out of 41 sessions and I am ahead 1256 units. Average session time is aproximately 15 minutes. Pretty decent ROT so far, but have been here before early in testing and have seen it all go to hell in a handbasket. Will keep the thread updated as I reach milestones.Bluewing

Your 6 deck Basic Strategy only produces a 43% hands won rate on its best day. NBJ can get you up to 52-55%. All progs work a whole lot better with a higher hands won rate. Users Bluewing Posted November 13, 2009 Author Users Report Share Posted November 13, 2009 I believe the house advantages are a specified based on typical Las Vegas Strip rules; ratio of actual loss versus initial bet.Baccarat Bank - 1.17%Baccarat Player - 1.36%6 Deck Blackjack Basic Strategy - 0.60%While you may win more actual hands as a % in Baccarat, Blackjack gives you better odds because of the ability to double down, split and 3-2 payout on Blackjack.BW
Users ECD Posted November 13, 2009 Users Report Share Posted November 13, 2009 Right Bluewing but I'm talking only about BJ. NBJ, what WWWWW is using above, is a better way to play BJ. Basic Strategy gives you a hands won rate of 43%. A bj is only worth 1 %. DD's and splits another 1 %. You are still at too big a deficit for a negative pregression to resolve. You first need to get your hands won rate up to at least 50%. That's only one of the many advantages of NBJ. Basic Strategy has issues. Users Bluewing Posted November 14, 2009 Author Users Report Share Posted November 14, 2009 OOPS. Sorry Ellis, WWWWWWW.Not sure why I thought you were referring to Baccarat. I must have read it wrong.I will indeed research NBJ. Thanks for the advice.BW
Users ECD Posted November 14, 2009 Users Report Share Posted November 14, 2009 A natural mistake Bluewing since I also teach Bac. You can read the first 40 or so pages of my Book NBJ right here for free to see if you are attuned to that level of play. The same with WCB. Then, all my books are available right here for less than you can buy them anywhere else, like Amazon
